You may have heard of the protests in Tbilisi, Georgia recently. The protests are framed around what the State Dept and CIA call “Russian favored” legislation.
The Georgia legislation essentially says that domestic lobbyists, NGO’s, entities, groups and individuals who are funded more than 20% by foreign interests need to register as such.
Essentially, the USA law we call the Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA), is what the country of Georgia is enacting in their own political landscape. However, the USA is not happy about the Georgia law to disclose the source of foreign funding (most of it anti-government) because the USA (specifically the State Dept and CIA)

The death toll from a collapsed highway in southeastern China climbed to 48 on Thursday as searchers dug for a second day through a treacherous and mountainous area.
One side of the four-lane highway in the city of Meizhou gave way about 2 a.m. on Wednesday after a month of heavy rains in Guangdong province. Twenty-three vehicles fell down a steep slope, some sending up flames as they caught fire. Construction cranes were used to lift out the burnt-out and mutilated vehicles. Officials in Meizhou said three other people were unidentified, pending DNA testing. It wasn’t immediately clear if they had died, which would bring the death toll to 51.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg did not say Wednesday whether he would prosecute protestors who broke into and occupied Hamilton Hall at Columbia University.
Bragg, who is currently prosecuting the case against former President Donald Trump, did not respond to multiple requests for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation asking whether pro-Palestinian protestors arrested on Tuesday would be charged. The New York Police Department (NYPD) arrested 119 protestors at Columbia on Tuesday night, along with 173 protestors at the separate City University of New York (CUNY) protest, where students occupied an administration building.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) sounds the alarm that the roughly 300 pro-Hamas protestors arrested by NYPD Tuesday night at Columbia University and City College of New York may not be students— but rather part of radical terrorist organizations. Adams said that when he became aware that the majority of the pro-terrorism protestors weren’t students but professional agitators, he promised to fight for the American “way of life” as the demonstrators continued to harass Jewish communities.

On Tuesday night, police officers in riot gear moved in to liberate Hamilton Hall at Columbia University after it was stormed by pro-Hamas "protesters" a day earlier. At the same time, clashes broke out on the campus of UCLA between the terrorist supporters and a contingent of counter-protesters.

Those confrontations were spawned by pro-Hamas "protesters" assaulting a Jewish student earlier in the day and holding another hostage for an hour. Videos of both incidents have since gone viral. All of this occurred near the school's illegal "encampment,"

We are well into the third week of the Manhattan criminal trial against former President Donald Trump. Readers will recall this is the case brought by District Attorney Alvin Bragg in New York state court alleging that Trump falsified business records reflecting payments made to his former attorney, Michael Cohen.

The heart of the prosecution's claim is that, rather than payments for legal services, those payments were actually reimbursement to Cohen for monies he expended securing a non-disclosure agreement from Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election. As such, Cohen's testimony will be critical to the prosecution's case against the former president.
One problem with that: Michael Cohen.
Last Thursday, the Bureau of Economic Analysis released its advance estimate for 2024’s first-quarter real GDP growth. At 1.6 percent, it is the worst quarterly performance since the economy contracted by 0.6 percent almost two years ago in the second quarter of 2022. This was a growth level one-third below economists’ expectations of 2.4 percent. It is also a precipitous drop from 2023’s fourth quarter rate of 3.4 percent and 2023’third quarter rate of 4.9 percent.
This slower growth comes on the heels of higher inflation. The March report on overall prices showed the Consumer Price Index for all Urban Consumers rose 3.5 percent over the last year
A pro-life policy outlawing abortion after six weeks gestation is now law of the land in Florida.
According to The Washington Post, now, abortion providers can no longer offer the procedure to most patients, as many women do not know that they are pregnant at six weeks.
The Post noted that Florida’s “heartbeat” law, specifically, “is widely expected to be the biggest jolt to abortion access across the country” (via The Washington Post):
It will affect significantly more women than any other state ban on abortions in the first trimester. More than 80,000 women get an abortion in Florida in a typical year, accounting for about 1 in 12 abortions nationwide.
I really do love living in Florida, and how we have handled these antisemitic whackjobs openly proclaiming their love of Hamas on college campuses just further demonstrates why. Down at the University of South Florida in Tampa, police arrested several pro-Hamas demonstrators after dispersing them with tear gas.
According to Fox News, many had been saying on social media that they intended to bring weapons to fight off university security and staff, raising red flags. One of the ten protestors arrested was a 39-year-old man named Atah Othman, who was caught with a gun on his person during the protest.
This hasn't gotten the coverage it deserves — and it may turn out to mean nothing — but on April 25, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas asked Trump lawyer John Sauer a question people seem to be ignoring.
“Did you, in this litigation, challenge the appointment of special counsel," Justice Thomas queried, referring to Jack Smith being appointed by Merrick Garland.
Sauer responded that his team did not "directly" question the appointment, adding that "it points to a very important issue here, because one of [the prosecution’s] arguments is, of course, that we should have this presumption of regularity.”
There are no "regularities" in any of the bogus Trump cases across the nation.
Democrats are reportedly in a panic over the Gaza protests because they think the images of campus takeovers are pushing Americans to the right.
They have good reasons to be panicked. Trump is already leading in almost every swing state and one of the reasons is because the country is sick and tired of the antics of the radical left.

Patriotic frat boys valiantly protected an American flag on the campus of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill even while being pelted by water bottles from pro-Palestine protestors.
Footage emerged on social media showing the group of male students from the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity holding onto the stars and stripes during a Tuesday protest. Pro-Palestine groups lobbed bottles of water at the group who clutched the flag as they were screamed at by masked protestors.
One person was seen carrying an Israel flag as others threw objects and water at him as the group held the flag high so as not let it touch the ground.

The Libertarian National Party announced Wednesday that Trump will make an appearance at their convention on May 25. It's not exactly the Marines raising the flag at Iwo Jima, but it was damned satisfying to watch.
Pro-Palestinian protesters at the City College of New York had removed the American flag from the flagpole at the start of their protests two weeks ago and raised the Palestinian flag. After the NYPD swarmed the CUNY campus and began arresting dozens of protesters, several cops began to take down the Palestinian flag.
They were none too gentle about it either.
Then, NYPD Deputy Commissioner, Operations Kaz Daughtry and several other officers raised the American flag.
MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace said Monday on “Deadline” that freedom of the press could end if former President Donald Trump wins re-election in November.

Ex-NPR senior editor Uri Berliner appeared again on Chris Cuomo's NewsNation show on Tuesday night. “I think that really, NPR has a lot of soul searching to do about representing the country at large. Senior Democrats are reportedly in "panic mode" about the violent demonstrations that have broken out across America's college campuses as the consequences of the conflict in the Middle East imperil Joe Biden's chances of re-election.
Protests against Israel's war against Hamas have spread like wildfire over the past few days, with major demonstrations taking place at some of the country's top universities, including Columbia and University College of Los Angeles (UCLA).
According to a report from Axios, Democrats in Congress are increasingly concerned about the optics of said demonstrations and fear it could even cost them the White House:

President Biden is in a difficult position when it comes to student protests. That's almost certainly why we've heard so little from him while all of this is going on all around the country.
At today's White House press briefing, AP reporter Zeke Miller asked the press secretary about it. KJP responded by bringing up Biden's record on anti-Semitism and how he spoke out after the 2017 march at UVA. "Let's not forget in 2017. He was very clear what we saw — the anti-Semitic vile that we saw in Charlottesville — on the streets of Charlottesville. He called that out. He called that out," she said.
