Barr is right, spying on Trump

Democrats and some in the media expressed shock and outrage when Attorney General William Barr said Wednesday that "spying did occur" on the Trump campaign during the 2016 election. Barr "must retract his statement immediately or produce specific evidence to back it up," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said. "Perpetuating conspiracy theories is beneath the office of the attorney general." Barr has gone "off the rails," said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Why are Democrats not likewise shocked and outraged by the statements of Adam Schiff? The following comments leveled against Barr equally apply to public comments made by Schiff:

* Barr "must retract his statement immediately or produce specific evidence to back it up," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said. "Perpetuating conspiracy theories is beneath the office of the attorney general."

* Barr has gone "off the rails," said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

* "The attorney general must retract his unfounded, irresponsible claim," said Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthal.

Why do Democrat leaders not make the same demands of Schiff? The Democrats are blatantly applying a double standard, but that is routine for them.

Barr was clear that he believes "spying did occur" and that he was concerned that the proper predicates were met to ensure that survellance did not unduly infringe on the political process. What are Democrats afraid of if nothing untoward was done?

Transparency demands work both ways in spite of the Democrat double standards.

Lying to the public is beneath the office of a member of Congress yet they all do it. Schumer and Schiff and Hillary lie all the time in public and call our President names. Barr was honest and dedicated and smart until he told the truth. The Democrats can´t have that!

No holds, Barrr. Prosecute the entire Obama and Hillary crime syndicate.

As to slimey Democrats and their wholly owned subsidiary, the news media, they have no standards other than to keep and expand their power. They care little about the law and even less about the Country.

Isn´t it wonderful to see the Dems freaking out for a change? The louder they scream the closer we get to the truth of their conspiracies. The FBI was compromised, the Dept. of State, the CIA, the NSA, the IRS, and of course their willing minions in the media. I estimate 1/2 of the total gvt. and over 90% of the media are complicit and work against We The People.

You would think that the acceptable predication would be astronomically high for an incumbent presidential administration and their politically appointed “Deep State” Super Bureaucrats to covertly “spy’ on the Presidential Candidate and Presidential Campaign of the opposite political party during the run-up to Presidential Election, and continuing on after that candidate was elected President by the American people.

You would also think that an unverified “dossier” containing clearly outrageous salacious allegations compiled by foreign operatives paid for by the failed Presidential Candidate of the Administration’s Political Party would not qualify as legitimate predication for such a politically charged “counterintelligence” investigation.

When they all freak out in unison, nearly hysterical, it is so much fun to watch. They know that a reckoning is coming, and are terrified, desperate to somehow stop it, or at least delay it.

Creepy Porn Lawyer Michael Avenatti has allegedly embezzled almost $2 million. The money was awarded to one of his clients, Alexis Gardner, to settle her suit against her ex boyfriend, NBA-player Hassan Whiteside. Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s response to Republican colleague Rep. Dan Crenshaw (Texas) drew the ire of conservatives for telling the former Navy SEAL he should “go do something” about terrorism. Crenshaw had initially commented that Omar was the “First member of Congress to ever describe terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 as ‘some people who did something,’” which he called “unbelievable.” Quick to defend her friend, the New York lawmaker accused Crenshaw of taking Omar’s remarks out of context and attacked him for not co-sponsoring the 9/11 Victim’s Compensation Fund.

In his testimony Wednesday before a Senate Appropriations Committee subcommittee, Attorney General William Barr made statements that were so clearly correct, they should be no more controversial than asserting that the sky is blue. The fact that they are causing consternation is what should alarm people. Barr told senators that “I think spying did occur” in the Trump-Russia investigation conducted by (among others) the Justice Department and the FBI during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Julian Assange has been arrested by British police today after being hauled out of the Ecuadorian embassy in London following an extradition request by the US. The Wikileaks founder, sporting a scruffy beard and unkempt hair, was dragged out of the building head-first in handcuffs by a group of seven men as his stunned supporters watched on as he screamed out ´the UK must resist´. Shortly after, British authorities confirmed that the whistleblower was being held on behalf of the US authorities, as well as for breaching bail conditions following rape allegations in Sweden dating back to 2010.

It’s hard to imagine the movie drawing many viewers outside that self-selected demographic. “Unplanned” preaches to the pro-life choir, and it does so by making a case

The likelihood that Prime Minister Netanyahu will be given the mandate to form the next government in Israel is a remarkable achievement. NEW YORK - A measles outbreak in Brooklyn, primarily among Orthodox Jewish children, prompted New York City on Tuesday to declare a public health emergency, requiring unvaccinated people in the affected areas to get the vaccine or face fines. The city’s largest outbreak since 1991 of the once virtually eradicated disease has mainly been confined to the Orthodox Jewish community in the borough’s Williamsburg neighborhood, with 285 cases confirmed since October, Mayor Bill de Blasio said at a news conference. That’s up sharply from only two reported cases in all of 2017.
