President Trump-backed Rep. Randy Feenstra conceded to businessman Zach Lahn in the Iowa GOP primary for governor, marking a rare endorsement defeat for the president in the primaries. The congressman conceded before most outlets even called the race.Up until Tuesday, Trump had a perfect endorsement record in House, Senate, and governor races on the Republican side. Notably, the president did have a handful of GOP primary defeats in low-level races such as state legislative ones. Trump had endorsed Feenstra on Friday,

I'm not sure it really matters which Republican gets cheated out of election by the Commiecrats. Instead of endorsements, how about eliminating the use of cheating machines, Dominion et. al. ?

I am thrilled that he weighed in against Cassidy and Cornyn. But I think Trump should stay out of most R vs R primaries. I am hoping his endorsement of Letlow was only to defeat Cassidy. In the run-off with Fleming Trump needs to step back and not make a new enemy. Fleming is the more conservative candidate and we have had quite enough of RINOs voting on our behalf in the senate.

All in for President Trump, but he endorsed Lindsey Graham for Senate, so I hope he sees as least one more endorsement defeat in SC's primary next week. I do mean Lindsey, but I'm afraid the other Pub candidates will split the vote, and the ole gal will come out on top again. The most prominent opposition is businessman Mark Lynch.

Any endorsement less than a week before election day is almost a waste given that many votes have already been cast.

Ohio will be the first state in the country to share its corporate registration records with the Justice Department’s new National Fraud Detection Center, as fraud scandals continue to drain taxpayer dollars nationwide. The first-of-its-kind partnership will give federal investigators immediate access to the state’s public business registration data, which could help expose shell companies, suspicious networks, shared addresses, and other signs of taxpayer fraud. “This is what I consider to be a historic day in our fight against fraud,” Assistant Attorney General Colin M. McDonald said. “Americans deserve a government that stewards their money wisely and protects it from wrongdoers.

Who would have thought education dollars were best used when actually directed toward the education of students? Attempting to follow every letter of federal regulation in education is a monumental task. School personnel spend tens of millions of hours (and dollars) each year on federal compliance. What they get in return for this investment is rarely to the students’ direct benefit. Through the new Returning Education to the States Waiver, the Education Department has created a map for reform. As a result, many state superintendents across the country are working with the Education Department to redirect tax money.

The Supreme Court on Thursday sided 8-1 with the Federal Communications Commission against two telecom giants over a combined $100 million in fines. Chief Justice John Roberts wrote for the majority. The lone dissenter was Justice Clarence Thomas. Telecom companies AT&T and Verizon claimed the FCC violated their rights to a jury trial by issuing fines for an alleged violation of the law. The FCC had found that both companies violated the 1996 Telecommunications Act, which requires carriers to protect the confidentiality of customer data. The commission fined AT&T $57 million and fined Verizon $46.9 million.

Former President Joe Biden crashed his wife Jill’s debut book talk Tuesday, stealing her spotlight to bizarrely ask the former first lady who she loves the most in a cringe-inducing moment before aides could cut him off. Jill Biden had been wrapping up a Q&A about her newly released book “A View from the East Wing” with moderator Whoopi Goldberg at the 92nd Street Y on the Upper East Side when Biden, 83, left his seat in the audience and wandered up to the edge of the stage. Goldberg had read a comment from the audience thanking Biden for his service, and Jill, 75, stood up —

Tehran launched at least five missiles that “failed to hit their intended targets” in neighboring Gulf countries. Two fell short or splintered mid-air while the other three were intercepted by US and Bahrain air defense forces, according to CENTCOM. Iranian state media broadcast that three missiles struck “enemy bases” in Kuwait.CENTCOM also shot down three one-way attack drones that Iranian forces fired toward civilian mariners in the surrounding regional waters. The US’s strike targeted a military ground control station on the island, which sits along the critical Strait of Hormuz. New York Democrats’ latest bid to suppress Republican voters launches this week as the Legislature gets the ball rolling on amending the state Constitution to allow it. They claim they’re just countering GOP gerrymandering across the country, but that prompts the question: Why did they start trying to do this before the ink was even dry on the 2020 Census? As we noted recently, New York Dems in fact triggered the gerrymander wars with their relentless efforts, starting in 2021, to undo the voter-passed prohibition on gerrymandering so they could draw district maps guaranteed to shut out the Republicans (who still draw over 40% of the statewide vote).

Californians go to the polls Tuesday to vote in primary elections that are expected to narrow the wide-open fields for November's General Elections in both the Los Angeles mayoral race and state gubernatorial contest – already the most expensive governor's race in U.S. history, with over $315 million spent so far. In the governor's race, the campaign of billionaire Democratic candidate Tom Steyer has poured in over $200 million in ad spending, the most money of any candidate this election cycle in the country

Democratic Maine Gov. Campaign aides reportedly reviewed the matter during an internal vetting process shortly after Platner launched his Senate bid, but staff members ultimately decided the issue was personal—

Two hundred and ten years ago this summer, a 19-year-old woman named Mary Shelley, bored one stormy afternoon, decided to write the scariest story ever told. But had the great author been around to witness Adam Hamawy win the Democratic primary in New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District, she would’ve understood right away that she was looking at a familiar tale of hubris, malice and ghouls on the loose.

Insufferable NeverTrumper John Bolton has worked out a plea deal and will plead guilty to a single count of “illegal retention of sensitive national security documents,” reports far-left CNN. Bolton was originally charged with “eight counts of transmission of national defense information and 10 counts of retention of national defense information.” A conviction on any of those counts would’ve meant serious jail time. On this one count, although the penalty is up to five years in prison, the deal apparently comes with Bolton agreeing to plead guilty and pay a fine of $2.25 million without jail time. However, a judge could still sentence the 77-year-old to prison regardless of the plea agreement.

This is what Democrats have come to. Utterly shameful.

You know that was likely to spark a storm of "performance theater" by the Democrats, peppering Rubio with questions that were outside the subject of the hearing. But Rubio has shown that he's truly adept at dealing with these characters. My colleague Bob Hoge reported earlier on Wednesday on how he sliced and diced Rep.
