Samsung Electronics America will relocate its US headquarters from Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, to Plano, Texas, by the end of 2026 — the second time in less than a year the South Korean electronics giant has uprooted its American nerve center. The company notified employees of the decision on May 29 and issued an official statement on June 1, with a broader announcement including layoff details expected June 5. About 1,000 workers at the Englewood Cliffs campus face a choice: follow the company to Texas or lose their jobs. The relocation lands just eight months after

The non qualified so called governor will totally destroy New Jersey. It’s going to be boring to listen to her made up reasons why it’s happened and blame President Trump.

This is how large corporations have large scale layoffs these days, without the need to offer buyouts, or RIF notices to government entities. And, since practically none of them outright own their corporate buildings, or the "real property" on which they reside, depending on how the lease contract is written, they can announce a move to another State who gives them a "better tax deal" practically before the ink is dry on their current lease contract. Plus, what with today's H1B visa "portable workforce" they don't have to worry about finding "talented slaves" to do the work, and do it cheaply. Working for a Korean company is brutal, especially when you're not a Korean; plus, it only gets worse when you're also Korean.

If I lived in NJ and worked for this company, I would be the first in line to relocate. With what I saved on real estate and state taxes, I could kick my standard of living up more than a few notches. I worked for a company that had offices all over the country. People who were offered a promotion to a position in NJ often turned it down due to the cost of living.

In this new, and maybe, final fight for our country, this latest NJ skirmish, shows the real time collapse of rat holes. When you have a rotten core of self brainwashed voters, and a population imported from the worse parts of the world, this is what you get. Unfortunately the cancer is spreading from the rust belt to the coasts. The end result is obvious, it seems irreversible, and the damage is protected and promoted by a media that somehow blames the right for the destruction. I hope there is someone in NJ with the wit, guts, and ideas to try and make a difference, but it is really hard to imagine one person or group being able to purge that state of all the stupidity and corruption that is degrading it year after year.

The House Judiciary Committee considered a constitutional amendment proposal that would cap the U.S. Supreme Court at nine justices on Wednesday. Not a single House Democrat on the committee supported it. The moment came during a committee markup for HJR 1, which would require SCOTUS to “be composed of nine justices.” The measure’s passage along party lines (15-8) means it now goes to the full House for consideration. The primary method used to amend the Constitution requires that any proposed amendment receive at least two-thirds support from both chambers of Congress and three-quarters of the states in order to ratify America’s founding legal document. sizeable number of Democrats will need

CBS News fired Scott Pelley on Tuesday, and his reaction only confirmed what we already knew — Pelley was a high paid propagandist masquerading as a journalist. NBC News reported that Pelley’s firing came after he accused Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss of “murdering” 60 Minutes during a “heated” meeting with a new 60 Minutes producer. “She does not love this place,” Pelley reportedly told the producer. “She was brought in to kill it, and she’s been doing exactly that.”

The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday cleared the way for Alabama to use a congressional map that would eliminate two majority-black districts and could benefit Republicans in the midterms. The lower court had previously ruled that the map intentionally discriminated against black voters.(snip)“While federal courts should not impose changes close to an election, states are free to decide for themselves whether last-minute changes to an election are in their best interests,” the justices wrote.

It was one of the strangest Covid fraud cases brought by the Justice Department, with the kind of wild details that seemed ripped from a Hollywood script. There was an $8.4 million pandemic relief loan based on records purportedly signed by a dementia-stricken accountant. Bags of shredded documents were discovered in a Mercedes SUV. Cellphones were found inside pouches specially designed to block radio frequencies to keep them from being tracked. And there were allegations of faked mental health problems that recalled the notorious case of mobster Vincent “The Chin” Gigante.

The Department of Justice on Friday asked Georgia federal judge Eleanor Ross to recuse herself from a pending case involving election records, citing media reports identifying Ross as the same judge who was disciplined for attending a victory party for a district attorney’s campaign. The DOJ said that if Ross is that judge, “it creates the appearance of bias,” because the victory party would have been in May 2024 for Fulton County DA Fani Willis, who prosecuted President Donald Trump for an alleged conspiracy to overturn the results of his 2020 election loss in Georgia to former President Joe Biden.

Two hundred and ten years ago this summer, a 19-year-old woman named Mary Shelley, bored one stormy afternoon, decided to write the scariest story ever told. It was a tale of a brilliant and arrogant man who wanted to change the world but ended up creating a monster. She named him Barack Obama. All right, she named him Dr. Frankenstein. But had the great author been around to witness Adam Hamawy win the Democratic primary in New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District, she would’ve understood right away that she was looking at a familiar tale of hubris, malice and ghouls on the loose.

Insufferable NeverTrumper John Bolton has worked out a plea deal and will plead guilty to a single count of “illegal retention of sensitive national security documents,” reports far-left CNN. Bolton was originally charged with “eight counts of transmission of national defense information and 10 counts of retention of national defense information.” A conviction on any of those counts would’ve meant serious jail time. On this one count, although the penalty is up to five years in prison, the deal apparently comes with Bolton agreeing to plead guilty and pay a fine of $2.25 million without jail time. However, a judge could still sentence the 77-year-old to prison regardless of the plea agreement.

This is in a district where Todd Beamer is buried. You may remember Todd Beamer as the airline passenger on Flight 93 who famously said “Let’s roll” as his last known words, referring to other passengers as they prepared to retake control of the plane, which crashed into a field in rural Pennsylvania instead of somewhere in DC. This is what Democrats have come to. Utterly shameful.

You know that was likely to spark a storm of "performance theater" by the Democrats, peppering Rubio with questions that were outside the subject of the hearing. But Rubio has shown that he's truly adept at dealing with these characters. My colleague Bob Hoge reported earlier on Wednesday on how he sliced and diced Rep.
