Texas MAGA battle ends with Middleton
victory as Chip Roy falls short in AG race

Original Article

A Republican state senator who spotlighted his support for President Donald Trump and his MAGA agenda is one step closer to succeeding Ken Paxton as Texas attorney general. State Sen. Mayes Middleton on Tuesday defeated Rep. Chip Roy, one of the most conservative members of the U.S. House, for the Republican attorney general nomination in Texas, The Associated Press reported. Roy conceded the race shortly after the results came in, saying he had called Middleton to congratulate him.

President Trump did not endorse either candidate in the race. The power of slick fancy color cardboard mailers, taking snips of certain speeches on video AND the power of the endorsement of Governor Greg Abbott. So much money spent by BOTH candidates for what? Not to lose. There are people with VERY passionate feelings pro and con about current Attorney General Ken Paxton who roundly defeated Senator John Cornyn in the Texas GOP primary. Paxton did a good job as AG, and it would be crazy for him to lose to Texas State Rep. Talafreako who has an incredibly VAST amount of controversial video showing how he is a much WORSE Senate candidate than when Beto O'dork ran against Senator Ted Cruz for Senate and Governor Greg Abbott for Governor. Who was the one he defeated-- Jasmine Crockett!! Former professional baseball player Mark Texiera will be taking over Congressman Roy's seat in January. I wish the new Congressman all the best!

"MAGA" Mayes did have Trump's endorsement in a fit of pique over Chip's sticking to conservative principles. Mayes is a trust fund baby, with a "new red hat" who has never tried a case in court. Chip would have been a pit bull in the mold of Ken Paxton. I really wanted Chip to win.

Nobody knows who Middleton is. He bought the seat with his own money. The best I have is that he does not look like the aggressive person Texas needs as AG, and there is no record to show otherwise. Texas has open primaries, and Chip Roy is a well known aggressive individual, so unfortunately, I suspect Middleton drew a lot of Democrat vote crossovers. I hope Middleton will prove to be a good AG, but we have nothing to show that will be the case.

I leaned very heavily in Chip's favor until I saw him say "Fvck Trump". I don't remember what it was about, but I know where it was aimed. He lost me right there.

Samsung Electronics America will relocate its US headquarters from Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, to Plano, Texas, by the end of 2026 — the second time in less than a year the South Korean electronics giant has uprooted its American nerve center. The company notified employees of the decision on May 29 and issued an official statement on June 1, with a broader announcement including layoff details expected June 5. About 1,000 workers at the Englewood Cliffs campus face a choice: follow the company to Texas or lose their jobs. The relocation lands just eight months after

CBS News fired Scott Pelley on Tuesday, and his reaction only confirmed what we already knew — Pelley was a high paid propagandist masquerading as a journalist. NBC News reported that Pelley’s firing came after he accused Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss of “murdering” 60 Minutes during a “heated” meeting with a new 60 Minutes producer. “She does not love this place,” Pelley reportedly told the producer. “She was brought in to kill it, and she’s been doing exactly that.”

California republican candidate Steve Hilton feels good about his position so far while the Associated Press reminds everyone that in California the results change for days and weeks depending on the ballot stuffing within the highly corrupt voting system. The manipulation of elections is so brazen, they don’t even try to hide it anymore. AP writes the warning: “California has a history of substantial vote updates after election day that can sometimes shift the outcome of elections as late-arriving mail and drop-off votes are counted.” {source}

Oh, this is just awesome news. Republicans are going bananas. Democrats, led by senate intel vice-chairman Mark Warner are having fits and meltdowns. All of it because President Trump announced the appointment of Bill Pulte to replace Tulsi Gabbard at the end of the month as Acting DNI. To make the issues even better, Democrats are now threatening to block FISA-702 reauthorization and stop the warrantless surveillance of American citizens unless Pulte’s appointment is withdrawn. Yes, read that again slowly if needed – it’s perfect. 🤣😂🤣

The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday cleared the way for Alabama to use a congressional map that would eliminate two majority-black districts and could benefit Republicans in the midterms. The Supreme Court in a 6-3 decision stayed a lower court ruling that had blocked Alabama from using the map. The lower court had previously ruled that the map intentionally discriminated against black voters.(snip)“While federal courts should not impose changes close to an election, states are free to decide for themselves whether last-minute changes to an election are in their best interests,” the justices wrote.

It was one of the strangest Covid fraud cases brought by the Justice Department, with the kind of wild details that seemed ripped from a Hollywood script.There was an $8.4 million pandemic relief loan based on records purportedly signed by a dementia-stricken accountant. Bags of shredded documents were discovered in a Mercedes SUV. Cellphones were found inside pouches specially designed to block radio frequencies to keep them from being tracked. And there were allegations of faked mental health problems that recalled the notorious case of mobster Vincent “The Chin” Gigante.

The Department of Justice on Friday asked Georgia federal judge Eleanor Ross to recuse herself from a pending case involving election records, citing media reports identifying Ross as the same judge who was disciplined for attending a victory party for a district attorney’s campaign. The DOJ said that if Ross is that judge, “it creates the appearance of bias,” because the victory party would have been in May 2024 for Fulton County DA Fani Willis, who prosecuted President Donald Trump for an alleged conspiracy to overturn the results of his 2020 election loss in Georgia to former President Joe Biden.

The Trump administration has bent over backward to negotiate an end to Iran’s grand plans to develop nuclear weapons—before the June 2025 bombing, afterward, and again during the follow-up diplomacy of spring 2026. Yet Iran is unlikely ever to abandon its pursuit of the bomb voluntarily. With nuclear weapons, Tehran hopes to become the de facto hegemon of the Middle East. Only then could it effectively coerce or deter both Israel and the wealthy Arab Gulf states. And that is the charitable view, one that excludes the possibility of a messianic Shiite theocracy believing that eliminating the “one-bomb” state of Israel would forever ensure the Shiite minority permanent preeminence

Mom’s not the word. New York state Democrats passed a bill to erase words like “mother” and “father” from Family Court Law — in the latest gender-neutral rewriting in the state’s official records. “Mother” would be replaced with “gestating parent” while “father” becomes “non-gestating parent” and “paternity” proceedings would become “parentage” proceedings under the woke bill that was rammed through both houses of the state legislature this week. A “putative father” in paternity proceedings would now be defined as “an alleged parent” under the bill, which was sponsored by liberals Sen. Luis Sepulveda (D-Bronx) and Assemblywoman Amy Paulin (D-Westchester) and goes to Gov. Kathy Hochul’s desk for approval.
