Adam Hamawy, an Egypt-born former combat surgeon who once volunteered with an Al Qaeda-linked group in Bosnia, emerged victorious Tuesday in the Democratic primary for retiring Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman’s (D-NJ) seat.
Hamawy — a staunch critic of Israel who was endorsed by “Squad” Reps. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), as well as socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) — was the top vote-getter in the crowded Democratic primary race for the Garden State’s deep-blue 12th Congressional District.
An Iraq War veteran, Hamawy has made national headlines for saving Sen. Tammy Duckworth’s (D-Ill) life

Although he recently debuted a more serious image, donning spectacles and suits for his broadcasts, those close to the 34-year-old told The Post he’s still a pervy, porn-obsessed frat boy — impulses they say get in the way of him ever realizing his goal of making it in the mainstream.
“Off camera he is very stiff and impersonal. I can’t tell how much of what he says he actually believes. He definitely leverages it to creep on women,” a former pal told The Post.

New York Democrats’ latest bid to suppress Republican voters launches this week as the Legislature gets the ball rolling on amending the state Constitution to allow it.
They claim they’re just countering GOP gerrymandering across the country, but that prompts the question: Why did they start trying to do this before the ink was even dry on the 2020 Census?
As we noted recently, New York Dems in fact triggered the gerrymander wars with their relentless efforts, starting in 2021, to undo the voter-passed prohibition on gerrymandering so they could draw district maps guaranteed to shut out the Republicans (who still draw over 40% of the statewide vote).

The United States Central Command said Tuesday night that U.S. forces have successfully defended itself against aggressive Iranian behavior and countered with self-defense strikes on Qeshm Island in the Persian Gulf.
The U.S. military said Iran launched several ballistic missiles toward regional neighbors in the Middle East, which all failed to hit their targets of Bahrain and Kuwait.
American forces also shot down three one-way attack drones that were launched toward civilian mariners in regional waters and conducted self-defense strikes on an Iranian military ground control station on the island.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order Tuesday asking AI companies to let the federal government take a look at their most powerful models before releasing them to the public. No mandatory reviews. No licensing. No federal approval process. Just a request, with a 30-day window to act on it.
The order puts America's most advanced AI to work defending power grids, hospitals, and government networks before China or criminal actors find the holes first.
Trump wrote in the order that America leads the world in AI because his administration cut the regulatory dead weight the Biden White House piled onto developers and researchers.

One of the few useful points from the DNC's aborted "autopsy," released two weeks ago by Ken Martin while renouncing it at the same time, focused on the Democrats' problems with men. Specifically – or as specifically as the report managed to get – the analysis pointed to Democrats' embrace of identity politics as particularly alienating to male voters, even those otherwise in minority demos:
Male voters require direct engagement. The gender gap can be narrowed. Deploy male messengers, address economic concerns, and don't assume identity politics will hold male voters of color.
There's a reason for that alienation,

It is now so common for leftists, indeed most Democrats, to call Trump supporters Nazis that it's easy to shrug and move on.
Unfortunately, as much as we would like to think it is a mere rhetorical flourish, it is not one at all. If you think that Democrats aren't serious when they propose what sound like insane measures, just remember what they did during COVID, what they are doing with alphabet ideology (literally sterilizing and mutilating kids and putting sex offenders into girls' locker rooms), and what they did to President Trump before his reelection.
They are quite serious about all the insane things they talk about

Many families flock to the area for its suburban school system and safe environment.

Judy is a school board leader but wants President Trump killed and is not ashamed to admit her views on her Facebook account!

Protection claims like asylum are intended to cover unique and narrow circumstances, but it is standard practice for immigration attorneys representing illegal aliens to assert that virtually every illegal alien is going to be persecuted or tortured in his or her home country."

The Trump administration has bent over backward to negotiate an end to Iran’s grand plans to develop nuclear weapons—before the June 2025 bombing, afterward, and again during the follow-up diplomacy of spring 2026.
Yet Iran is unlikely ever to abandon its pursuit of the bomb voluntarily. With nuclear weapons, Tehran hopes to become the de facto hegemon of the Middle East. Only then could it effectively coerce or deter both Israel and the wealthy Arab Gulf states. And that is the charitable view, one that excludes the possibility of a messianic Shiite theocracy believing that eliminating the “one-bomb” state of Israel would forever ensure the Shiite minority permanent preeminence

...Chapman delivered his message on the same day that Exxon shareholders approved a plan to move the company's legal home from New Jersey to Texas.
