Former “Access Hollywood” host Billy Bush said Thursday that former reality star Spencer Pratt, a Republican running to become mayor of Los Angeles, was “relentless” in Tuesday’s debate with incumbent Mayor Karen Bass (D). Bush told NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo that he was initially “suspect” of Pratt debating Bass and Los Angeles City Council member Nithya Raman, a progressive who launched a late bid for mayor in February. Here’s the thing about Spencer Pratt, he was relentless,” Bush said. “He kept going and he kept going, and the guy has credibility, right? I mean, he came in and said, ‘I’m an outsider,’ and ‘Boy, it’s corrupt,’

I sure hope he can galvanize a large enough constituency that realizes one-party control over the last 20+ years is not in the general public's best interest. Need to get a counter balance so they have to discuss, negotiate and not dictate public policy and their tax schemes. Right now, the entire State of California is under one-party (radical Democrats) control where they don't have to consider Republicans or Independents in any public policy item.

If Los Angeles reelects Karen Bass after what she's done (and not done), they're beyond hope. Spencer Pratt might be personally better off if he loses and leaves the state. However LA will be the loser.

Let's remember, it's not who votes, but who counts the votes. California is notorious for their vote manipulations, bags of votes found in trunk of vans, boxes of votes found in locked storage rooms. On and on, whoever is counting the votes is the decider of the outcome. Sad. However, we are praying for a miracle and that Spencer Platt wins.

Sorry for second post. This is what Peachy Keenan published today: It’s not an election about politics. It’s about survival. Left and right don’t matter anymore. Either we continue to get chased out of our own neighborhoods by gangs, fentanyl zombies, and robbed by the city’s corrupt homeless-NGO elite, or we put a stop to it. We either get the tents off our streets, or we never will. We either keep on dying, or we start living. No new laws are required. We simply enforce laws and homelessness disappears.

I've been very critical of the Trump administration and its schizophrenic Second Amendment record. On one hand, we've gotten dozens of new rules for the ATF, almost all of which are outstanding for gun owners to some degree or another. We've had the Civil Rights division of the DOJ go after state and local governments for unconstitutional gun control laws. The flip side, though, is that they've also defended some terrible federal regulations. It's enough to give you whiplash, and a lot of Second Amendment advocates are very down on the administration because of it. I know, because I'm one of them.

Los Angeles is a broken city, facing huge problems made worse by corrupt politicians. It is overrun by homelessness, crime, blight, and the horrifying aftermath of the 2025 Palisades fire. In several weeks, Los Angeles voters will elect a new mayor. One candidate, former reality television star Spencer Pratt, is making a huge splash. He was previously known for his starring role on the MTV show The Hills from 2006 to 2010. He lost his house, along with his parents, in the Palisades fire. Unlike two of his opponents in the race, incumbent Mayor Karen Bass and Councilmember Nithya Raman, who live in mansions,

I suspect a severe lesson is about to be incoming for the Iranian regime after their actions on Sunday. It appears to have been hit near Qatar. That ship is owned by a New Jersey-headquartered company. There was also a report of a ship being hit near Qatar. The regime was also busy attacking its neighbors again, firing drones at Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). There's been a response from the regime on negotiations. But if it isn't about completely giving up their uranium and enrichment, and about ensuring free movement through the Strait of Hormuz, it's a non-starter.

Ted Turner, the yachtsman, media mogul, and environmental philanthropist, died this past week at the age of 87. He left behind five children, three ex-wives, a fortune of almost $3 billion, and a “conservative” legacy that would make Bill Buckley and Ronald Reagan blush. Now, to be clear, Turner was an avowed liberal. He supported left-wing political and social causes for much of his adult life. He was adamantly and vocally pro-choice. He funded anti-war and anti-nuclear organizations that challenged American global authority.

In the wake of the Virginia Supreme Court's ruling last week, national party leaders didn’t accept the ruling and are trying to regroup. According to a new report, they got on a private call and started plotting ways around it. That tells you everything you need to know. The Virginia Supreme Court struck down a voter-ratified congressional map that gerrymandered Democrats four extra seats in Congress. The ruling was a huge setback for the Democrats in the ongoing redistricting wars, and they’re desperately trying to figure out what to do next. On Saturday, Democratic House members from Virginia and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries—

China is the United States' primary geopolitical rival now. President Trump is set to visit China in the next few days, and there is, reportedly, a lot on the agenda for him to discuss with China's leader Xi Jinping. It would be fascinating to be a fly on the wall during these discussions,

In the continuing Iran conflict, voices on both sides of the American political spectrum have made the claim that the mullahs can score a strategic victory by merely surviving, especially if they can do so while retaining a semblance of control over the Strait of Hormuz. If these observers are right that Iran’s victory would not be “military” but “strategic,” one need not look far back in American history to find a precedent. At the start of the Korean War in June 1950, North Korean communists under the control of Kim Il-Sung crossed the 38th Parallel and attacked South Korea. Armed and encouraged by the Soviet Union,

In the modern imagination, Abraham Lincoln is a figure so overexposed that he risks becoming invisible. His face is carved into mountains, printed on currency, and invoked with ritualistic reverence by politicians who would scarcely recognize the discipline of mind that animated him. Yet beneath the marble stillness lies a moral and intellectual temperament that is, by contemporary standards, almost alien: austere, rational, cautious, and yet quietly aflame with conviction. To recover Lincoln as a moral beacon and a conservative thinker is not merely an antiquarian exercise. It is an indictment of our own age, which confuses noise for thought, fervor for principle, and rupture for reform.

An ugly internal power struggle in Iran is muddying mediation talks with the US, as pro-war and pro-deal factions battle it out over whether Tehran should ever surrender, sources familiar with mediation efforts tell The Post. Though Iran’s political elites — including its president, foreign minister and parliamentary speaker — have been at the center of efforts to hammer out peace terms, regional sources told The Post that it’s Iran’s military leadership that ultimately has the power to accept or reject any agreement. “One faction there right now is at its highest point ever in its history — the IRGC,” a source told The Post.

Virginia Attorney General Jay Jones filed a long-shot emergency petition to the Supreme Court on Monday, urging it to reinstate the voter-approved Democratic gerrymander of the state’s congressional map, which the Virginia Supreme Court struck down last week. The petition, filed on behalf of Jones and other Democratic leaders in Virginia, argued that the Virginia Supreme Court erred in ruling that an “election” in the Virginia constitution includes the early voting period, instead arguing that under federal law, an “election” refers to a singular day.

Saturah Hayes, 17, was fatally shot Friday evening in Brownsville, Tenn. — about an hour northeast of Memphis — where Haywood High School students decked out in tuxedos and dresses gathered for photographs before the big dance, police and school officials said. Four others were shot and hospitalized, according to police. It’s not clear how many of those wounded were students. The prom was cut short and the school was closed Monday to give Hayes’ classmates time to grieve, Action News 5 reported.

In 1921, Woodrow Wilson, the first of America’s four transformative progressive presidents, became the first president to remain in Washington and make the nation’s capital his permanent home after leaving office. In very mild defense of the man who did more than any other to establish the administrative state and thus pervert America’s carefully constructed constitutional design, Wilson had suffered a debilitating stroke two years prior that left him partially paralyzed and nearly blind. He died just a few years later, in 1924. Barack Obama, the nation’s fourth transformative progressive president (following Wilson, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Lyndon B. Johnson)

Five words: Power unused is power surrendered. That’s the reality Senate Republicans now face. With a narrow majority and a nation increasingly concerned about election integrity, Republicans face a choice: act decisively or allow procedural relics to dictate policy outcomes. At the heart of this dilemma is the filibuster — not a constitutional safeguard, not a sacred institution, but a Senate rule that has evolved into a minority veto. And in its current form, it’s not even honest. Today’s filibuster is a shadow of its former self. Senators no longer need to stand on the floor, speak for hours, or defend their obstruction before the American people.
