The War Department released more than 160 files Friday related to sightings of UFOs dating back nearly 80 years, two days after President Trump predicted, “I think some of it’s going to be very interesting to people.” The disclosure of 162 files by the Pentagon follows a presidential order from February calling for transparency around “alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs).”

Yes! Yes! Those little dots of light certainly look capable of traveling more than 25 trillion miles - - and entering the earth's atmosphere without generating a flame - - and showing no desire to contact anyone on this scientifically-advanced planet. Yes! I'm a believer! They're here! They're here!

"Still a man hears what he wants to hear And disregards the rest" Simon and Garfunkel IMO we may not be alone in the universe but it is unlikely that other civilizations are able to harness and apply the energy required for interstellar travel. Are these phenomena manifestations of previous Earth civilizations which were destroyed in previous global disasters? Remnants of which, such as Gobekli Tepi, remain unexplained. They may be preparing for the next global catastrophy. ? As believable as any other explanation

Two points in the UFO debate never cease to amaze me. 1) That human beings on a tiny planet in an obscure arm of one galaxy (among billions) is the only place in the Universe with intelligent life, and 2) That, if there is other life in the Universe, they would only be capable of technology at our level.

Super fuzzy tiny dots in grainy photos.....yep, proof positive of aliens traveling here from 150 light years away......or maybe dirt on the camera lense, or in the internal parts of the camera? Much ado about nothing. Show me a chunk of some weird alloy that we can't make (not sure that there are any alloys we can't actually make today) in some shape that indicates intelligent manufacture.....not in Russia or China, and maybe I'll be impressed. Maybe not. Remote sensors of ALL KINDS can be fooled by various forms of internal and external NORMAL stuff. IMO, the most impressive images are from the fighter TV camera systems tracking "tic tacs". Those are damned weird. But, I'm pretty sure that the reason that they appear to defy the laws of physics is that they aren't really what we think we are looking at.

Like all superstitions, "aliens" were invented because we can't explain "weird" stuff. It's not aliens, you fools. It's that our puny little minds can't grasp what's going on. When--or if--we ever figure out a logical explanation for it, the alien superstition will die, too.

If there are intelligent beings out there. They might be less advanced as we are, or they might be thousands of years more advanced than we are and we are the parasites under their microscopes being studied. The earth is located in the boondocks of the Milky Way. No advanced civilization is going out of their way contact us as far as we know. On the other hand, those advanced civilizations might be sending us signals; we just don't have the technology or know how to understand it or receive it.

Once Don Lemon heard that there was a probe of Uranus, he became most interested! I don't think any strange beings would survive atmospheric entry, or be able to live in our atmosphere and its mix of nitrogen and oxygen. Plus, as mentioned above, the increasing stupidity of the human race would keep any and all aliens in a galaxy far, far away...

Considering the unimaginable size of the universe (no one can begin to imagine it) it would be illogical to think that we are alone. If we are, that would mean, at least to me, the presence of God.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer insisted Friday he was “not going to walk away” from the job with his Labour Party on course to be badly beaten in local and regional elections. Control of 136 local authorites in England, as well as the devolved parliaments in Scotland and Wales, were up for grabs Thursday. While many commentators had expected Labour to suffer heavy defeats amid public discontent with the economy, immigration and Starmer himself, partial results indicated the party was on track to take worse losses than even the most pessimistic predictions suggested.

The Virginia Supreme Court's ruling striking down Democrats’ costly redistricting push sparked an uproar on social media over the massive sum the party spent to pass the now-defunct congressional map. It's incredibly demoralizing to law-abiding, rule-following, normal Americans to watch Democrats publicly commit crimes without ever getting in trouble for it. I’m not talking about the indictments and prosecutions of high-level Democrats on charges that may or may not hold up in court — the Jim Comeys and Letitia Jameses. These prosecutions may or may not be at least partly politically motivated, but Democrats will always think that's all they were. And the refined legal arguments for conviction stand little chance of success in leftist jurisdictions like Washington and New York. I’m talking about Democrat politicians who knowingly flout the law, brazenly and openly, on video for all to see.
