NY leaders desperately try to stop billionaire

Don’t break up because of that Mam! New York leaders are desperately trying to stop billionaire bigwigs from hightailing out of the Big Apple with their cash, businesses and thousands of jobs — as fears mount that Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s policies will accelerate the Empire State’s nation-leading loss of wealth. The splashy one-two punch of Citadel CEO Ken Griffin and Apollo Global Management honcho Marc Rowan pledging to expand outside New York City has been coupled with a silent wave of businesses “quiet quitting” the city over its hostile environment, insiders told The Post.

Or you could simply reduce taxes and spend less of other people's money. What a concept!

Mamdani, Hocul, and the liberals in the NY Legislature are all tag teaming to see who can come up with the best, most idiotic ideas to extort money from those who actually produce things and make money while condemning them for being successful. No amount of taxation will satisfy their lust for other people's money. They need it for social engineering and government programs. If the producers don't like it, they obviously are selfish, heartless, MAGA Republicans and should leave.

They just need to send Zohran out to make another video - IN THEIR FACE - telling them not to go. His video was vile and I don't blame the billionaires for not taking it any more. He told you what he was going to do. Believe it.

The problem NYC has is that confiscatory taxing and slandering "the rich" drives them away. They are losing their best 'customers'. This will force the city to increase taxes on the simply well-to-do citizens who will also leave if they are able to. It's what pilots call the 'graveyard spiral'. Things like free buses and childcare aren't 'free'. Those perks will cause more financial hits to city revenue. NYC is looking at a perfect example of what socialism/communism does in real life. It's going to be an interesting lesson and a hard one for New Yorkers.

Mamdani’s followers are high fiving over his performative ads vilifying the rich. That may fade when they realize the money flow to provide their free stuff dried up. Maybe the Mayor could borrow enough to hand out free bagels and hot dogs as an effort shut them up.

The democrats have dumb and or destructive ideas and then they haven to change their minds after the damage has been done. Their voters all vote by their "Feelings" and not think about consequences. It is a shame and NY is going down the drain with that guy and his merry band of supporters in charge.

I believe it is all part of a plan. Muslims take over a patch, good people flee, more Muslims move in, rinse and repeat. Eventually, they take over the government locally, and make moves to take over whole states. It's happening in Great Britain. It's going to happen here.

Mamdani's in-your-face camera shot didn't scare Ken Griffin, but it illustrated how out of touch the left is when it comes to understanding who needs whom. The welfare state runs on taxes extracted from citizens and businesses. It relies on coercion, with politicians stupidly dehumanizing the wealthy as disposable. Big mistake, as the young Mamdani is learning the hard way.

The State Bar of Arizona (SBA) is disbarring another conservative attorney, Vlad Gagic, after he loudly objected on social media to the prosecution of one of his clients, whom he believed was innocent. Gagic told me he acted as a whistleblower, exposing systemic corruption, prosecutorial misconduct, judicial bias and political retaliation. The situation arose while Gagic was defending his former client, Jamaal Pennington, a young black man who Gagic became convinced was wrongly accused of sex trafficking and pimping. Gagic told me he uncovered and documented massive misconduct by the prosecution. When Pennington’s accuser, the key witness against him, recanted her story and said she had identified the wrong man,

Five words: Power unused is power surrendered. That’s the reality Senate Republicans now face. With a narrow majority and a nation increasingly concerned about election integrity, Republicans face a choice: act decisively or allow procedural relics to dictate policy outcomes. At the heart of this dilemma is the filibuster — not a constitutional safeguard, not a sacred institution, but a Senate rule that has evolved into a minority veto. And in its current form, it’s not even honest. Today’s filibuster is a shadow of its former self. Senators no longer need to stand on the floor, speak for hours, or defend their obstruction before the American people.

New revelations emerging from Israeli security investigations have shattered any illusion that Turkey's relationship with Hamas is limited to "political support" or "diplomatic engagement." The evidence increasingly points to a situation far more alarming: Turkey has become a primary operational, logistical, and financial hub for Hamas's global terror infrastructure. Countries that enable terrorism cannot at the same time be treated as indispensable partners in the fight against terrorism. By allowing Hamas members to develop drone capabilities on Turkish soil, Ankara is deliberately grooming terrorists for future wars against Israel.

The Democrat party is facing such a host of seemingly intractable problems -- structural, financial, legal, and ideological -- that it will be close to a miracle if it survives after this year’s midterms. The below deck shuffles -- encouraging illegal alien votes, manipulating the census, making crooked voting almost impossible to check, and stuffing their pockets with illegal contributions through ACT Blue and pay-to-play schemes of USAID and NGOs -- are all suddenly being exposed and blocked. Empty Pockets Jeff Childers has done a thorough job explaining the party’s terminal crisis. Being short of funds is a good start.
