James Clyburn Furious as South Carolina
State Legislature Opens Door to Redistricting

The South Carolina House voted last night to open the door for redistricting in a special session a week from now. The measure still has to pass the South Carolina Senate; however, with the Indiana outcome at the forefront of their political future, the redistricting is more than likely. As a consequence, South Carolina Democrat James Clyburn is potentially going to lose his gerrymandered seat in congress. Given Clyburn’s stature as one of the key architects of the DNC ballot harvesting and election counting fraud via the AME Church network, Democrats are apoplectic.

Well, when the Democrats in New York, California, Maryland, Illinois, Virginia, Massachusetts (and other deep blue states) decide to play fair with Congressional representation, maybe then we can talk about Mr. Clyburn having his carved-out district. I may not like the way the game is being played, but then again, I didn't make the rules ... which most of the Democrat complainers actually wrote.

There should be no odd looking districts, drawn to benefit one race over another. The new Florida map has no strange looking districts. The new Virginia map was just rejected by the Virginia Supreme Court.

I don’t understand. If Clyburn, Fields, Potter and others are so good representing the constituency, they should be able to get elected in Any district. I live in a quota district where my vote and voice don’t count. I sure hope our state Refublicains get a spine and do the right thing soon.

Rep. Clyburn has been in office for 17 terms (34 years). I'll bet the people in his 6th District can't name 5 things he's done during that tenure FOR the people of the district. Can he even illuminate how he's improved things, besides some pork project, for the average person living in his district? Or, is he still complaining like it's 1963?

President Trump announced on Truth Social that he is delaying further strikes against Iran pending current negotiations with Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. According to the announcement the Gulf States are negotiating a ‘zero nuclear’ position. California has this really great knack for taking a simple problem and turning it into a government-funded disaster that costs millions, helps pretty much nobody, and still gets sold back to the public as a success. The latest example of this is a state program that was supposed to help children get hearing aids. Pretty basic stuff, right? Kids need to hear, families need help, and the state claims it has a solution… Boy, we’re they wrong. COLUMBIA, S.C.— An effort to reshape South Carolina’s congressional districts will get its first full airing Monday in the state House, as lawmakers launch a lengthy and potentially testy discussion on whether to accede to President Donald Trump’s desires for a U.S. House map that could yield a clean sweep for Republicans. Tense debates already have played out in Tennessee, Alabama and Louisiana as Republicans push aggressively to leverage a recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling that weakened Voting Rights Act protections for minority districts. The ruling has opened the way for Republicans to redraw districts with large Black populations that have elected Democrats.

The last scheduled oral argument was held on April 29; the justices considered whether Trump wrongfully terminated deportation protections for thousands of Haitian and Syrian nationals. That decision and a ruling on Trump’s order restricting birthright citizenship could influence immigration policy for decades to come.

They argue those costs are especially hitting the trucking industry, where rising commercial insurance premiums can ripple through freight rates, grocery bills, consumer goods and even personal auto insurance premiums. “Abusive litigation practices against the trucking industry

The health news organization STAT was first to report on the exposures. The World Health Organization this week declared the Ebola outbreak in Congo and Uganda a "public health emergency of international concern."
