Jim Acosta Whines That Trump Is 'Winning'

Don't look now, but FCC Chairman Brendan Carr and Jim Acosta agree on something: President Donald Trump is "winning" his effort to reshape the media landscape in his second term. Appearing on the "Power Lines" podcast with his fellow ardent leftists Oliver Darcy and Jon Passantino, Acosta glumly proclaimed, "I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to figure out that Donald Trump is winning in his, you know, quest to reshape the media in this country that he's cracked the code on how to hurt the press in the U.S." Acosta recently testified at a Democrat pseudo-hearing before Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.),

You mean the lying, leftist Jim Acosta is squealing about someone doing something to rectify the blatant propaganda which has been emanating from the legacy media for decades? And President Trump is the catalyst. The horror!

"there's already a propaganda network over at Fox. We don't, we don't need more of them." It is hilarious that for a dozen media outlets that are liberal there is 1 that is Conservative and Acosta feels threatened by them. Further, he is blind to the fact that CNN and other networks actually ARE propaganda outlets. This highlights the real threat to the Leftists. The CANNOT allow the truth to be spoken. It must be ABSOLUTELY suppressed. There are two reasons for this. First, the truth is far more powerful than the Left's propaganda; the propaganda dies in the fire of the truth. Second, it makes the Leftist media people look incredibly STUPID. Fundamentally, Acosta and his ilk are arrogant morons and they can't stand being exposed.

Like Hollywood, the legacy media cannot accept their part in their own destruction. They have a million reasons for their downfall, most of which include President Trump.

The right to keep and bear arms is a human right. Even if most other nations ignore it, having the means to defend yourself is an essential right, even if you elect not to do so. It's like free speech. It's a human right, even if you don't care to speak out about things. But all too often, it's treated like nothing of the sort, even here in the United States. People want to attach things to it that boil down to it becoming a privilege you have to look to the government to grant after a sincere, "Mother, may I?"

For a couple of days, I’ve been contemplating a New York Post report about New York Governor Kathy Hochul’s apparent willingness to saddle New York, a state already drowning in debt, with another $1.5 billion in obligations. How in the world could she be so fiscally irresponsible? However, having read Mike McDaniel’s essay about blue state insolvency, I finally understand what’s going on: She knows (or, at least, assumes) that the bill will never come due. Here’s what the New York Post reported: Gov. Kathy Hochul is weighing a possible deal with a top union to allow public workers from teachers to nurses hired after 2012 to retire at 55 —

Democrats are losing their grip on reality. I don’t mean that they’re going crazy. That ship sailed around the time they started saying “sex assigned at birth.” I mean, they’re literally losing the ability to shape the narratives that determine what most Americans perceive as “reality.” They know it’s happening, and they know exactly who to blame: a Trump-aligned billionaire named David Ellison. Last year, his film production company Skydance (which gave us the refreshingly patriotic “Top Gun: Maverick”) bought Paramount, giving Ellison ownership of CBS News. A few months later, he bought news site The Free Press and installed its founder — anti-woke, classical liberal Bari Weiss — as CBS’s editor-in-chief.

Migration advocates claim that “millions” of U.S.-born children, youths, and adults could have their citizenship cancelled if the Supreme Court allows President Donald Trump’s Executive Order barring citizenship for the new children of illegal migrants to stand. Thousands of American babies [born after January 20, 2025] will immediately lose their citizenship,” ACLU Legal Director Cecillia Wang told the nine justices on Wednesday morning. “And if you credit the government’s theory, the citizenship of millions of Americans past, present … could be called into question.”

If Democrats regain unified control of U.S. federal government, pressure to federalize or normalize euthanasia will intensify. Content warning: This article includes content that may not be appropriate for some readers. Noelia Castillo Ramos, a 25-year-old survivor of multiple sexual assaults, died in Spain by legal euthanasia last week. Her life and death expose the cruelty of the left’s “compassion.” Ramos’ childhood was marred by family problems: her parents’ separation and her father’s alcohol issues. Despite being on the receiving end of attacks for three weeks and counting, Gulf Arab leaders are making headlines after making it unmistakably clear they have no intention of seeking a ceasefire with Iran. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has laid mines in the Strait of Hormuz, threatening a chokepoint through which roughly 20 percent of the world's oil supply flows, while simultaneously launching missile and drone strikes against Muslim-majority neighbors across the region. The Gulf states' refusal to stand down reflects a hard-won recognition: Iran's jihadi rulers maintain a hit list far beyond Israel and America, including the model for a peaceful Middle East pioneered by the Abraham Accords.

federal judge has ruled that the Trump administration unlawfully pulled the plug on nearly a million asylum-seekers who were temporarily allowed to live in the U.S. thanks to the Biden-era CBP One app. Fox News reports that the app was used by then-President Joe Biden’s administration beginning in 2023 to allow migrants to schedule appointments with immigration officials with many of the migrants being paroled into the U.S. for up to two years. Italy’s move comes as countries around the world, including Japan, South Korea and Germany, are turning back to coal to alleviate the spiralling energy crisis. Italy had planned to be one of the first countries in mainland Europe to phase out coal,

Illinois Democrat Sen. Tammy Duckworth sent a letter to the Transportation Security Administration on Friday demanding the agency rescind its "shoes-on" policy, according to a report. In a letter obtained by CBS News, Duckworth called the policy a "reckless act" that may be placing flight passengers at risk. Duckworth also warned that the policy was likely implemented "without meaningful consultation with TSA," citing an investigation by the Department of Homeland Security's inspector general that found it created a new security vulnerability in airport screening systems. The IG's classified report found that TSA scanners are unable to effectively screen shoes, raising concerns that threat items could evade detection. The report was allegedly buried

In a development raising red flags across the Atlantic, Britain’s Labour government has appointed the UK’s first “anti-Muslim hostility tsar” and adopted a new definition of anti-Muslim hostility — reframed from “Islamophobia” — as part of its £4 million social cohesion strategy. The definition describes such hostility as “a type of racism” targeting “expressions of Muslimness or perceived Muslimness,” including prejudicial stereotyping that could incite hatred. Officials claim it addresses record-high anti-Muslim hate crimes while protecting free speech. Critics, however, see it as a potential censorship tool that could limit scrutiny of Islamic extremism, grooming gangs, or integration challenges.

President Donald Trump on Friday proposed to begin privatizing airport security operations handled by the Transportation Security Administration, in an effort to save money. The White House budget proposes cutting funding for the federal agency created after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks by $52 million and would require small airports to enroll in a program in which TSA pays for private screeners. TSA has about 50,000 federal employees who handle screening at nearly all U.S. airports. Budget documents released on Friday said airports currently using the privatization program have demonstrated savings compared to federal screening operations. In recent weeks, major U.S. airports suffered massive disruptions after TSA security officers went unpaid since mid-February
