Texas DeceptiCON Dan Crenshaw, aka “one-eyed McCain”, a man of notoriously arrogant and intemperate disposition, has lost the Texas CD02 primary race to Steve Toth. Mr Toth won 56% of the primary vote, so there will not be a runoff.
At the conclusion of this year, the perpetually horrible Dan Crenshaw will no longer be a congressman.
Apparently, Crenshaw was blindsided and didn’t see it coming. [SOURCE] (snip)The greater share of Wesley Hunt’s vote is expected to go toward Ken Paxton, setting up the opportunity for the people of Texas to finally remove another DeceptiCON from the Senate.

Glad Crenshaw is gone. Hopefully, Cornyn will be defeated May 26 runoff. Al Green forced into a runoff. Al Green is ignorant and crazy, his opponent will vote the same. Glad to see Huffines is the new Texas Comptroller, the prior one too DIE. We will see who wins the Attorney General and Railroad Commissioner runoff May 26.

So if Dan Huffines becomes controller does that mean the state can't accept bids for Chevrolets as state vehicles? Or is he a different branch of the "Huffines Chevrolet" family?

I keep hearing that President Trump is going to endorse John cornyn. I pray he is a better man than that!

How much of Cornyn's 80 million is actually ripped off taxpayer dollars?

In a fair election, Ken Paxton will win decisively. However, the Deep State RINOs will do whatever it takes to keep Cornyn.

None of this matters. The rino's in the senate are not ever going to pass the Save Act. They are spineless scum and the Republican Party is dead and will lose all progress that has been made in the next election because of their cowardice. They killed it long ago and as of 2026 this very solid conservative will not vote for a single republican. I am planning on voting for every left wing libtard on the ballot in the hopes they all get elected and the Republican Party burns to the ground. Only then will there ever be a chance to revive a conservative party that represents the people, not themselves.
No more voting for the Romneys, McCains, McConnell, Tillis or Thunes.

Trump needs to tread lightly on pushing for liberal republicans to be elected to congress!
We are sick to death of Cornyn and Cassidy taking our votes and working against us.
Paxton and Fleming (not Letlow) are the best candidates to REPRESENT the constituents in Texas and Louisiana.

Conservatives in Texas have been trying to get rid of Cornyn for years. The establishment always spends millions to bail him out, or they run someone to split the opponents vote, as they did this time supporting Hunt, and if that don't work, they will indict Paxton in Austin for whatever they can make up. Expect ethical complaints against Paxton, moral charges, reminders that he is divorced, he don't feed his dog, and he put a cabinet top in his house with taxpayer funds. They tried impeachment, but that didn't work. Expect inappropriate behavior charges. The establishment will do anything to defeat Paxton, including keeping the polls open for days, stuffing the ballot box, or throwing away Paxton ballots. Because of all this, I will be voting for Paxton regardless of any Trump endorsements, because this is the only opportunity to ever get rid of Rino Cornyn, who up to now has been unbearable. Just think of what Cornyn would be with this being his last term, due to age.

I am a bit worried about a Paxton vs Talerico match up. I think Paxton would win, but it would be much closer than it has to be. Talerico has the "I'm not a crazy Democrat" shtick down pat, but he's just a Texas version of Abagail Spanburger (the new VA governor) who ran that way and is now more of a leftist than Jasmine Crockett ever dreamed of.
I think Talerico might be able to pull enough establishment Republicans and moralistic Republicans (Paxton is going through a messy. self-inflicted divorce) if not enough to win outright, then possibly pull a couple Congressional seats to the Dems in Texas. With redistricting and Democrat shenanigans, Texas Republicans need to pull 30 house seats to the party to maintain control of the House of Representatives.
I voted Hunt, who would have been a good alternative. I probably will hold my nose and vote for Cornyn in May -- and whoever is the Republican candidate in November. I don't see any plus for Pres Trump to endorse someone in the runoff, but then again, I've noticed that Pres Trump doesn't consult me for advice. Perhaps he can sit down with both candidates and persuade them to settle on one of them, but that might be a tougher problem than the current situation with Iran.

Great news about Crenshaw, good riddance. Now I hope Cornyn the RINO finally gets thrown out, but he has huge corporate corrupt money pushing him. Please Texas, do the right thing. Dump Cornyn.

I'll be very disappointed if Trump endorses Cornyn. He is a RINO at best, who has a penchant for going against conservatives. If he acts like that knowing he would be running for reelection in 2026, just think about what he will do when he no longer has to worry about running for reelection in 2032.

I prefer to take a sure victory over an uncertain defeat. Talarico is a wolf in poorly disguised sheep’s clothing. If elected, he will do a Spanberger and reveal himself as the woke DEI that he is. Ken Paxton carries too much baggage. He has the morals and ethics of an alley cat. If he is on the ticket, liberal money will invade Texas as never before, loudly proclaiming and exposing his sleazy character. Jasmine Crockett even said that she would like to run against Paxton because she could beat him.
(FYI, the seminary that Talarico attends is sponsored by the Presbyterian Church (USA) one of the leading liberal denominations from which many conservative congregations are fleeing.)
Republican voters have a choice between “standing on principle” to take a chance on a democrat senate or taking the sure win.
Half a loaf is better than none. I’m going with the sure thing.
