JPMorgan Chase employees fear defying CEO Jamie Dimon’s five-day return-to-office edict would amount to “career suicide,” according to a report detailing internal backlash to the mandate.
Workers at the nation’s largest lender told the Financial Times they were bewildered by management’s insistence on a full-time return to company offices, though teams are scattered across the globe.
“My team is spread out through two continents and three time zones,” said a JPMorgan staffer who signed a petition to bring back hybrid work.

According to a news report from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Jarvis Davis was hanging out in an apartment unit, eating a fast food order, when his friend, who had just finished his own meal but was still hungry, “requested” a french fry from young Jarvis. Jarvis declined to hand over his food, and the “requesting” friend then pulled out a gun and shot Jarvis in the head: [snip]A young black man gunned down in cold bold—where is the leftist outrage? Darwin Felipe Bahamon Martinez, a 21-year-old Colombian national, was nabbed by authorities after illegally crossing the California-Mexico border in August 2023, but was allowed back on the streets, according to the ICE.
On Jan. 21, he led police in Anaheim on a three-minute chase after officers attempted to pull him over for driving recklessly, NBC Los Angeles reported. Bahamon Martinez then crashed into two vehicles in nearby Placentia, killing father Jose Antonio Ramos Hernandez, 59, and injuring an 83-year-old woman.

The United Nations is going broke and needs member nations to stump up cash. Lots of it. That is the plea from Secretary-General António Guterres who fears the globalist body is at risk of “imminent financial collapse” due to member states not paying their fees.
The former leader of the Portuguese Socialist Party said Friday the U.N. faces a financial crisis which was “deepening, threatening programme delivery” and money could run out as soon as July leaving the unaccountable globalist cabal destitute.
Such is the financial drama unfolding at U.N. headquarters in Geneva, signs warning of the situation have reportedly been put up everywhere.

Driver’s license tests in Florida will be administered only in English starting Feb. 6, the state Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles announced Friday.
“This change applies to all driver license classifications, including exams administered orally,” said state officials in a news release.
Currently, exams for most non-commercial driver classifications are offered in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole.
The department has updated its driver’s license testing system statewide, and language-translation services won’t be allowed for knowledge or skills examinations, the release said.

A Tennessee family was allegedly threatened with fines by their homeowners’ association to remove the generator that was heating their house, as the neighborhood was plunged into darkness during below-freezing temperatures.
Talia Caravello said she was told that her generator didn’t comply with the aesthetic code of her townhouse in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood of Nashville when she lost electricity during a brutal ice storm on Sunday, according to WSMV.
Caravello purchased a $1,500 generator, extension cords and space heaters to keep her family warm as indoor temperatures dropped to 30 degrees following the storm that left four people dead.
