A rural Illinois bar owner was gunned down by a convicted murderer in an “execution-style” shooting shortly before opening her business for the day Monday.
Courtney Drysdale, 30, was fatally shot by suspected gunman Julius E. Burkes Jr. just after 11 a.m. as she was going about her normal routine, according to the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Office.{snip] Burkes has multiple arrests in previous years, including for battery and alleged stalking.
In 1994, when he was 15, Burkes pleaded guilty to two counts of murder stemming from a killing near Chicago, the outlet reported.
He was sentenced to 37 years in prison but served less than half that, according to the outlet.

Beautiful woman murdered by mentally ill black man. It's an old familiar story that very few want to talk about.

He was serving time before she was even born. Monster. Parole board members are also monsters.

Once again, "juvy" leniency costs someone their life. We had a case in KC years ago, young thug murdered his grandmother when he was in his late teens. held in juvy for two or three years until he aged out. A couple of years later, he raped and murdered two young women.
Leniency for young murderers is just stupid.
IMO, if you are over about 10 or11 and you murder someone, you need to be treated exactly as an adult. And 35 years in prison isn't going to be enough for these young sociopaths. They need to die inside prison walls to keep the rest of us from having to pay the price of "being nice" to them. They won't be nice to us.

"Sentenced to 37 years in prison but served less than half"
Even the full 37 years for a violent sociopath like this one isn't enough. It is necessary for them to NEVER be out of prison walls....EVER. They will NOT 'get better', they don't care about human life whatsoever, and kill without the slightest hint of remorse.
We have thousands of examples of this mental pathology. We need to stop imagining that "they will become non-violent" no, experience shows that this doesn't happen with the sociopaths.
I first began to understand their frightening mindset when I read, at least 40 years ago, an interview with a man who had fired out of a moving car at a rival gang member who was standing on a street corner in Harlem. The 'enemy' was standing in a crowd of people waiting for a light to change. He fired numerous shots into the crowd, killing a young black girl. When asked, years later, in prison if he felt remorse for killing the young girl his reply was chilling. "Remorse? I didn't even know her!"
Killing a person who you don't personally know is without the slightest meaning to these sociopathic killers. NOTHING will make them safe to ever be out in society, out of prison.
We have to get it into our system that "life in prison" involves a casket being filled inside prison walls. NO time off for good behavior.

Does anyone remember the chilling commentary by the Orson Welles character, Harry Lime, the smuggler in postwar Berlin, when sitting in the ferris wheel car at the top of the ferris wheel? Harry had been confronted with the fact that his racket of stealing medicines was causing deaths in the hospitals. Hearry looked down from hundreds of feet above, and said something like "If one of those little black dots down there just stopped moving, it isn't my concern." Harry was talking to his old friend, played by Joseph Cotten.
A chilling, totally sociopathic view, and his friend, who had been defending "good old Harry's" actions up until then, all the time with some people saying "He's pure evil" and others saying "He's such a wonderful person, funny and fun". And his old friend remembers Harry that way from years earlier. But in the ferris wheel, years later in Berlin, he saw the truth, and eventually helped hunt Harry down and kill him for his unrepented many serious crimes, causing people to die for his financial gain.
Sociopaths. Like serial killer Ted Bundy. He was charming and fun to be around....until he murdered you.

Punishment which is too lax does the miscreant no good and places ALL of us at risk for harm. Evil laughs at 'do-gooding' and just ups its game to even worse behavior. We need a return to actual implementation of the death penalty and execution while memories of the crime haven't died of old age.

I would say at last 80% of this type of report involve predators with a long list of felony convictions, and I always ask - why are these animals walking free?
The answer of course in that our judiciary system and our justice system are riddled with communists having a Chaos Agenda. The goal of these judges, DAs and parole boards is the systematic dismantling of civilization as a prelude to the installation of totalitarian socialism. Their tool is the community of psychopath predators.

At the end of this article was one about a cook in an Olive Garden restaurant who committed suicide by dunking his head in the deep fryer! I am believing that some parole boards are as nutty as this guy. What in the hell has happened to this country?
