1 In 3 LA Armenians Using $30 Billion
IHSS Program Investigated By Dr. Oz

Original Article

Armenian-speakers in Los Angeles County utilize California's In-Home Supportive Services program at a rate roughly 700% higher than their proportion of the county's population, an analysis by The Center Square found -- renewing attention to potential fraud concerns in the community amid the ongoing public dispute between CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz and Gov. Gavin Newsom. A top fraud expert said that The Center Square's data analysis likely reveals organized fraud networks are operating in Los Angeles County's Armenian-speaking community -- with participants allegedly getting kickbacks and funneling large amounts of cash out of the country through cash-based hawala networks.

Comments:

When Governor Newsom is reduced to aping Tim Walz's "that's racist" ploy you know that Dr. Oz is "over the target." IHSS fraud is neither new, concentrated in Los Angeles County, nor exclusive to Armenian Americans (the article cites a 2009 Sacramento Grand Jury report in IHSS fraud.) "Hawala" (informal money transfer) networks operate in Armenia as well as throughout Africa and the Middle East.

Lie, cheat, steal. My grandparents were JFK democrats and would be horrified at what this party has become. Why in the hell does this happen and why is it allowed to continue? Because it is an under the table vote buying kickback scheme. You vote for me and I will see the money fountain continues and you give me some back and vote for me and I will see the money fountain continues and on forever. We are taxed to death and they want more. If we got rid of the scum we could balance the budget and get on with living a better and easier life. And the aholes DO NOT want a photo ID to vote. Because they would lose votes and the system would collapse. Lie, cheat, steal. Get on with it and clean this up. You cannot throw $ BILLIONS out there with no oversight and think fraud will not happen.

Why is it allowed to continue, you ask - I think because we taxpayers are not nearly as angry (mostly via ignorance) about stopping it, as much as the THEY are as adamant about keeping it. And we don't hardly know thing one about how to access these rampant benefits, while they are masters at exploiting it. All I know how to do is fill out my 1040s come April 15th. With my big 'SUCKER" stamp on my forehead.

These huge appropriation bills that Congress loves to pass without knowing what is in them, is why we are in this mess. We're bleeding tax dollars all over the country, and world for that matter. Not only are they vehicles for congress members to steal from through their overseas shell company's, but it seems everyone on planet earth has no problem sticking their hand in the till too. Trump is trying to expose this stuff, but I don't think it's doing any good. I bet the bill he just signed two days ago has billions of ripoff money embedded in it. There's nothing that can be done to stop this unless people go to prison, and that sure doesn't look likely.

there's plenty of oversight, -5; it's not valid powerful oversight of the right time place manner, over the right financials, competency, and programmes, overseen by decent law abiding honourable persons with the talents, virtues, experience, and adaptability to care for a great country and a great ppl of this magnitude and import in history. laziness graft corruption entitlement addiction, marxist filth and criminality must be thwarted. this was done on wall street after the 29 crash. prosperity must be allowed to thrive, as was done by the free slaves out in the midwest iirc --to work their own businesses spirituality and destinies with equality under law--before LBJ re-enslaved them.
