Caleb Phillips, a 21-year-old regular attendee at Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, said that leftist agitators have continued to harass and heckle congregants going to church services the last two Sundays following their disruption of a service on Jan. 18. (snip) Rather than being intimidated, he says Cities Church congregants reconvened to finish their service that same evening. Further, services the past two Sundays have been "packed" with faithful, he said. (snip) [T]here has been a continuing presence of protesters heckling and harassing congregants outside the sanctuary. With the help of police, the agitators have not entered the sanctuary again.

Comments:

Mr. Phillips, who is white, notes that verbal harassment of parishioners entering and leaving the church has been generally vicious and that racial insults have been directed at his girlfriend, who is Asian.

Wrong by me! Caleb should do then standing and the shoving. These left fringe agitators should wind up in the ER after proper justice is administered.

Where do we draw the line between legal protests and those that illegally interfere with the constitutional rights of other citizens? The invasion of the church several weeks ago was clearly illegal but I am convinced that even the current protests are a bridge too far. If I can hear you screaming outside while I am inside trying to pray, you have violated my rights.

Before TK retired, he served Mass for over 20 years (1999-2020) at our little rural parish church while carrying concealed. He liked his view of both the front and side doors from the raised altar. There were other men that also concealed carried in church and dispersed themselves among the congregation. He liked to joke that he was the founding member of AAA - Armed Altarboys of America.
