As Expected, Justice Jackson Humiliated
Herself During Today’s Oral Arguments

Original Article

I don’t think anyone would confuse Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson with a sharp legal mind. She often comes across as the poster child for what’s wrong with DEI hires. On Tuesday, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in Little v. Hecox, a case that will likely decide whether laws barring biological males from competing on girls’ sports teams are constitutional. Given that Jackson famously admitted during her confirmation hearings that she didn’t know what a woman was — because, as she put it, she’s “not a biologist” — you knew she was bound to be a real spectacle.

Comments:

Idiocy. How did KBJ even get into law school?

Affirmative Action always harms everyone. DEI is a land mine that kills everyone near it - not just the one who stepped on it. Affirmative Action is racism - a government-created evil that must be eradicated from our society. This stupid woman is an insult to everyone's intelligence.

The more leading liberals are forced to speak out to "resist", the more we recognize they are dunces. They usually say things that, within a short period of time, explode in their faces. Then you begin to realize that liberal leaders are perfect examples of failures in leadership and lack any true capabilities. The only "skill" they possess is strident adherence to their foolish beliefs that arise out of stupidity, arrogance, and selfishness. They are amoral, believing they can circumvent law and decency to take what they want. They are a degraded form of humanity.

Did Jackson think that if she threw in enough nonsensical legal sounding phrases somehow relating to the case that she might get something right and maybe sound smart by using so many words? She would be better to stick to Justice Clarence Thomas model of speaking less but making the few words you do say have a giant impact. Jackson just comes across as a law student trying to impress her professor with a lot of confusing attorney like language.

Robby Starbuck formulates an answer to the Leninist question What is to be done?. It is the question that is naturally raised by the resistance of Minnesota’s state and local authorities to federal law enforcement. In the X post below Starbuck responds to the Leninist question: • Invoke the insurrection act • Military arrests rioters and politicians • ICE triples presence and deports maximum # of illegals while DHS denaturalizes anyone who committed immigration fraud and deports them too • Not one apology from the right for anything This must be put down so thoroughly that the far left extremists can’t effectively recruit people in other left wing cities to replicate the chaos and

Here in California, billionaires are under attack as the Democrats are pushing a referendum that would levy a 5 percent wealth tax on unrealized gains and other assets of these very rich people in the Golden State. In Washington, DC, Donald Trump is telling big financial corporations that he’s going to limit their credit card interest rates to just 10 percent instead of the 20 percent or 30 percent they’ve been charging their customers. On the one hand, these are terrible economic policies. They are the opposite of classical conservatism. It’s ridiculous to tax unrealized gains

What is it about failed governors that convinces Democrats they should lead the nation? Mark Halperin released his January installment of his “8 for ’28” Democratic nomination rankings, and California Gov. Gavin Newsom remains at the top of the list. Remarkably, another failed governor — Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker — made the biggest jump in the rankings and now sits at No. 4. The third member of that trifecta of America’s worst governors, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, almost became vice president, which would have made him a heartbeat away from the presidency. With Newsom still at No. 1 for 2028, it’s instructive to look at what other lists he tops.

Happy Thursday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) I came of age politically just as Ronald Reagan was elected president. That kind of thing can give a young conservative a false sense of optimism about the future. Reagan was so much larger than life that he made the whole Republican Party seem stronger for a while. NUUK, Greenland — Troops from several European countries continued to arrive in Greenland on Thursday in a show of support for Denmark as talks between representatives of Denmark, Greenland and the U.S. highlighted “fundamental disagreement” over the future of the Arctic island. Denmark announced it would increase its military presence in Greenland on Wednesday as foreign ministers from Denmark and Greenland were preparing to meet with White House representatives in Washington. President Donald Trump's push to seize Greenland might be the least popular idea in American political history. Is that hyperbole? If so, that's only because reliable and fast public polling is a relatively recent development within our 250-year experiment in self-governance. Among Republicans, the idea is actually twice as popular: 8 percent say taking the island is a "good idea."

As CBS reported, the Supreme Court heard arguments on Tuesday on whether laws from Idaho and West Virginia that ban biological males from playing in girls’ and women’s sports violate the Constitution’s guarantee of equal protection and the landmark law known as Title IX. Two bio males, Lindsay Hecox of Idaho and Becky Pepper-Jackson of West Virginia, sued their respective states, claiming they discriminate based on sex and transgender status. They claim the states’ laws ban every ‘transgender’ female from school sports, and treat them worse than others. This is, of course, not true.
