What to know about the investigations into the Brown University shooting and the killing of an MIT professor:
The suspect in the Dec. 13 mass shooting on the campus of Brown University has been found dead in a storage unit in Salem, New Hampshire, sources told CBS News. Two students were killed and nine were wounded in the shooting. Multiple sources familiar with the investigation had told CBS News earlier Thursday that a person of interest has been identified in the shooting.

Since reports are that the perpetrator was a Portuguese National, you have to wonder if he was legally in the USA?

If this was a MAGA conservative Christian NRA member, his name and full bio would have been released hours ago!!!
Any guesses exactly how many of the "normal suspects" boxes he checks?!?!?!?

A 48 year old Portuguese national who attended grad school classes at Brown, in the building where the shooting occurred. He also attend a university in Portugal at the same time as the dead MIT scientist.
Doesn't seem likely that there isn't a connection.

The totally incompetent clown show team in Providence rushed out to give a press conference basically trying to take credit for this. They had no idea where this guy was and it turns out he had left RI. Brown University is scrambling to lie their way out of a liability suit and the Providence coos were helping them. Infuriating.

Some striking 'coincidences' here, as #6 noted.
And as #5 noted, was it a real suicide, or were the REAL bad guys tying up a loose end?
We'll probably never know.
Also, were the 'officials' at the press conference really that clueless, or were they 'playing dumb' for the media? After all, anything they tell the media, they are of course also telling the perp(s), who then might use that information to get away.
We'll probably never know that one, either.

OK, here's the coverup I smell. It's called segmenting the two killings. The Israelis have given voice to their suspicion that Iran killed this scientist as revenge for Israel's shredding the mullahs' capacity. The fact that the tkiller and this scientist went to university together will cloud the story forever, and make it more a "personal" matter.
But why then strike at Brown, where the killer had had a connection. What would be the animus there?
It is undisputed that the first person killed was the conservative head of the campus Republicans. The professor whose class the kids were reviewing teaches some kind of Judaic studies, in addition to the STEM stuff she also apparently teaches.
Gee. It's so puzzling. Well, there was a personal story right? Probably some kinda grudge from college days. Ho hum. Move on.

Perhaps stop all the give-away education for all those foreign nationals. Make them & or their parents and their patrons pay American money for their American education. I had to pay for my own college education. I only ever knew of two who deserved having scholarships provided and they both gave back greatly to this country. George Washington Carver was one. The other person didn't come from wealth either, but had excellently high entry grades and which warranted the grant-in-aid at the tiny Christian college that recognized his worth in brainpower.

It does seem odd that authorities so quickly announced the death was self-inflicted.

More fodder for those possessed by the need to attribute any crime to the Israeli cabal. It is not that I do not think the Mossad capable of mayhem anywhere in the world but I tire of the incessant demand to find some link with or without evidence.

What about the Palestinian suspect? Whatever happened to……whatever sex it was. Was it ever accounted for? Hmmmm. Who’s to blame - a sexually perverted, anti-Israel Palestinian or a homicidal Portuguese? Which is more likely? I’m with #1. So convenient it stinks to high heaven.

Here are some thoughts I haven't heard mentioned that I can't get it out of my mind. The authorities are treating the killings as connected and indeed they seem to be. The killer was a Portuguese national who attended grad school classes at Brown, in the building where the shooting occurred. He also studied in Portugal with the dead MIT scientist. The authorities seem to be thinking that the 2 murders could be tied together. That seems like a real possibility, but hold on for a sec. What if there were MORE than 2 murders planned and what if Valente had a grander plan, a larger statement to make? He was an academic. What if he held some kind of personal grudge against ALL 8 of the Ivys? Could he have been carrying out a stepping-stone plan to attack them one by one---starting with Brown and MIT? Consider this: There's nothing to indicate that Valente had 2 and only 2 targets. MIT is an hour from Brown. Salem is an hour from Hanover--- was Dartmouth next?

I guess that ever smart and always correct Israeli Intelligence organization was a bit off-target when they claimed just three days back that the MIT Prof's killers were Iranian assassins. That certainly didn't age well.

The gaggle around the lectern at the Providence pressers gave me no confidence at all. The case was cracked by agencies that never would have hired any of that bunch.
