‘Frankly, a Very Authoritarian Government’:
Labour-Led Britain Suspends Elections,

Left-led UK government follows up attacking Magna Carta and frequent social media arrests by announcing it is yet again postponing elections and moving to introduce a nationwide facial camera recognition system. Brexit leader Nigel Farage eviscerated the left-wing British government for piling depredations upon depredations on the British people, as they announced yet another postponement of local elections without good reason, on the same day they moved to roll out China-style facial recognition cameras. Speaking at a Reform Party press conference, Mr Farage said of these “monstrous” changes: …today’s the day we learn that there will be surveillance cameras not just in our big cities, but literally in every single village.

I agree, #1. They don't have a constitution. They willing gave up their right to defend themselves and their country when they disarmed themselves. They aren't citizens, just subjects, and the law is whatever the government says it is, House of Lords and House of Commons be d---d! We saved Britain's neck and the rest of Western Civilization in WWI and II and it looks like the time is coming to do it again. If we do, then their government will need to have massive changes, including keeping all Muslims out of the country. They have been nothing but bad news wherever they go.

Notice how Leftist governments love authoritarian regimes so they can control and dictate to "those people"? Even in the U.S., as I recall CA held onto their "emergency" orders far longer than the rest of the country to ensure the Governor could continue issuing orders without any approvals needed.

As I argued yesterday, that is a serious misreading of Trump's and his administration's criticism of European policies. As his National Security Strategy makes clear, the United States wants to help Europe recover its strength and civilizational vitality, and is unwilling to enable its suicide. Whatever you think of the National Security Strategy and/or Trump's well-deserved criticism of European leaders, POLITICO quite rightly points out

In any case, today the Post makes the case that Obamacare subsidies, the coming expiration of which was the stated reason Democrats shut down the government, should not be extended. Why? SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A cadre of Texas Department of Public Safety troopers now stand watch over Texas’s most visited historic site. The Alamo Trust, a non-profit organization responsible for the daily operations of the historic site, transferred security responsibility to the troopers who have been in place since September. The move was mandated by Texas Senate Bill 3059, signed into law by Texas Governor Greg Abbott on June 20, 2025. Among other provisions related to the preservation and management of the Mission San Antonio de Valero, commonly referred to as the Alamo, the bill established the Alamo Commission, comprising state elected officials, including the governor, to oversee the historic site.

In March, a female student at Stone Bridge High School recorded a group of boys in the men’s locker room asking why a girl was allowed to use the boys’ locker room. Although recording in locker rooms is against district policy, the district opened a Title IX investigation into the boys, two Christian and one Muslim, and accused the two Christian boys of sexual harassment and sex-based discrimination.

Talon's announcement on Sunday evening came about 12 hours after gunfire first rang out in several neighbourhoods of Cotonou, the country's biggest city and commercial hub, and soldiers went on state television to say they had removed Talon from power. Forces loyal to Talon "stood firm, recaptured our positions, and cleared the last pockets of resistance held by the mutineers," Talon said in his own televised statement.

ATLANTA (AP) — A federal judge has permanently ordered Georgia’s prison system to keep providing some kinds of gender-affirming care for transgender prisoners, although the state plans to appeal. Somalians could have assimilated into U.S. culture by now, but American taxpayers have been roped into funding programs that coddle Somalians’ Third-World culture and disincentivize their assimilation. The Somali population explosion has rendered parts of Minneapolis unrecognizable as they impose a decidedly non-American culture on every aspect of the city.
