When the far left began to subsume cultural institutions, there was one “holy grail” (pun very much intended) target that they had their eyes set on: The church.
While some churches resisted the calls to leftism, a fair number of them did not, leading to a rise in hyper-progressive churches that seem more interested in the rainbow of the LGBT movement than the crimson blood of Jesus Christ.
Those same churches also became hyper-politicized, often siding with the left-wing establishment when it comes to all things President Donald Trump and his administration — including immigration enforcement. For the more pious readers (or for those who are not terminally online)

Shameful - these are very sick, disturbed people.

NO Roman soldiers visited the Nativity. NONE. A "church" that plays this loose with the Gospel narrative is no church at all. I hope it has some members left who will take offense and go elsewhere.

Romans 1:21 (NIV) For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
Romans 1:25a They exchanged the truth of God for a lie....

Any church that does something so political should lose its tax-exempt status. This stunt ought to reduce their membership a lot unless there are that many godless people who are members there.

Growing up we used to tease Mom by moving the figures in the nativity scene around. It was a kid attempt at being funny and Mom played along by pretending to be upset. My favorite was putting a camel in the manger.
The difference is, this isn't trying to be funny. This is mean. Democrats seem to be mean a lot.

Time for all the tax administrators that have jurisdiction here to review their tax-exempt status.

I guess they think that mocking real Christians is some cool and edgy thing to do. It's not. It's just another group obsessed with politics. Everything they say, do, or think about is about themselves and their political stance. Sad, really.

Very sad to not believe God and His word. They are hurting no one more than themselves and those who follow them.
Hebrews 10: 29-31
Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

No church should make any comment about politics or enter any political activities. Should any church enter into the political arena they should have the no tax regulation removed from the entire denomination of the church. There is no room in religion for politics and no reason for religion to attack a sitting president..
