Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino unloaded on New York Post columnist Miranda Devine on Monday, accusing her of running yet another coordinated “deep-state hit piece” on reform-minded FBI leadership. Bongino wrote on X: “Deep-state Devine strikes again. Miranda loves attacking our reform agenda with gossipy anecdotes from disgruntled former employees because she’s upset that her ‘reporting’ keeps falling apart under scrutiny. You can always count on Miranda for a timed hit piece when the Director and I make big changes. Miranda prefers the old guard. I don’t. Full steam ahead.”

I am America 1st, Trump/MAGA. I read Kash's book. I listened to Bongino's podcast. From my perspective and in my opinion, their words don't match their actions, Miranda is simply pointing this out but you can easily verify this for yourself by watching Bongino's old podcast and Kash's, "Government Gangsters" book tour interviews. What I am trying to say, is this: Kash and Bongino are doing their job, they just aren't doing the WORK they said they were going to do. I watched as Bongino's opinions changed from "the rank and file are good people" to "OMG the whole place is FUBAR'" Why isn't Kash arresting the government gangsters he wrote about? When isn't Bongino cleaning up this FUBAR agency like he said? What happened to the URGENCY to the EMERGENCY happening at the F.B.I.? Get angry Bongino! And then go clean up your work place!

It sounds like the FBI needs the type of housecleaning that Hegseth put the military through. You can't let people have that much power and yield it with a disruptive, deep state mindset. We will never forget the spectacle of the Mar-a-Lago raid or January 6th.

Bongino's act wore thin long before the FBI stint. He's a self-promoter who somehow built a reputation on claiming to have loads of damning inside information then always inching back from the precipice of revealing it. He was given a primo time slot for a radio show and did the very same. He and Patel have spent their time beating pots and pants - on social media or elsewhere - and have little to show for it. Indictments are not convictions. Accusations and complaints are not trials. The same rank and file who meekly allowed Chris Wray to abuse his office and agency are there. Why? Why haven't they been sacked and their lavish GS salaries been eliminated?

I agree with #9. The anedotes she chose sounded like typing pool gossip. What on earth made hethink those complainers were reliable sources. And even our posters here would not he reliable sources. We are just observers , not insiders. Her recounting of this on Fox was loaded with too many "ups". Aussies do ums but this was different. She seemed to have trouble recounting her story, all of which was based upon hearsay. Kvetching.

Cloned meat will soon enter Canadian grocery stores without safety reviews or labeling - whereas some Americans have been eating it all along. Health officials recently scrapped a 22-year-old policy that classified cloned meat as novel foods, removing pre-market safety assessments and allowing these products to be sold with no disclosure.  The move has sparked surprise in the US, after it was revealed that similar products have quietly been on shelves for years without labels. The FDA approved meat and milk from cloned cattle, swine and goats, along with their offspring, in January 2008.

Governments pledged aid;humanitarian agencies sounded alarms. Yet today, the word "famine" has nearly vanished from headlines. What happened? This is not to deny the human suffering in Gaza; it is to ask difficult, necessary questions.
