Treasury's Bessent Says Department Working
To Cut Federal Tax Benefits For Illegal Immigrants

Original Article

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Friday his Department is working to cut off federal benefits to illegal immigrants at the direction of President Donald Trump. Bessent wrote in a post on X that "we are working to cut off federal benefits to illegal aliens and preserve them for American citizens. He said the Treasury "announced it will issue proposed regulations clarifying that the refunded portions of certain income tax benefits are no longer available to illegal and other non-qualifies aliens, including the Earned Income Tax Credit, the Additional Child Tax Credit, the American Opportunity Tax Credit, and the Savers Match Credit."

Comments:

This is overdue. Providing these "tax credits" to illegal aliens who pay no or little tax subsidizes their illegal presence in the US.

Democrats are especially mad about two Trump administration policies, the closure of the border and the crackdown on the USAID and NGO democrat cash cows. The uncontrolled flow of illegals provided clients for NGOs, one of many ways democrats profit from illegal immigration. On that topic, I heard from an excellent source that one of Rahm Emanuel’s brothers owns a motel in a Texas border town that was filled to capacity with illegals night after night during Biden’s disastrous administration.

Congress needs to put massive taxes on non-English broadcast stations originating in this country. They also need to crack down on Paycheck Loan (shark) companies/franchises that prey off illegals, and they also need to crack down on the wire-transfer businesses that allows illegals to send money back home. When all those support entities are removed, they will more quickly "self-deport." If you make a nice little rat's nest habitat outside your home, chances are pretty good that you'll get, and keep, a hoard of rats. Step one in getting rid of rats is elimination of what they depend on for habitation, and in the case of human-rats, that includes their human "support group," like "La Raza," ACLU, or any number of "illegal immigration" legal groups/NGOs. Shut them ALL down!

No wonder they come here in massive waves, in spite of the dangers of the trek and exploitation by the smugglers. What's not to like...free food, free medical care and free housing. I wish they would stay and try to change their own countries, but that will never happen. In the meantime, we get to support millions from Third World countries at horrendous cost to our own citizens....crime and millions of dollars that could go to our genuinely needy instead.

Just curious - don't you need a SSN to file your taxes? So how many SSNs have been illegally used for decades by these criminals? And all the federal agencies have to do is set up matching agreements among themselves so they can match up or pair SSNs with names, who is here in the USA on a visa, etc. see: https://home.treasury.gov/footer/privacy-act/computer-matching-programs

Never been able to grasp how someone that doesn't pay taxes gets a refund via the 'earned income credit.' It just always struck me as another form of welfare. And it's not just illegals on that gravy train. It's also that special class politicians refer to as our 'poor' or 'low income' people.

They don't need to study this. Immigrants are supposed to have a visible means of support when they come here. If they don't they need to go back.

Equally important is to cut all funding to all universities and colleges. That is where the dissension gets brewed. That is is why we have so much strife across America, because kids are being taught to hate America, hate success, and hate capitalism, hate white people, and hate the Jews.

Acting New Jersey Attorney Alina Habba is disqualified after the Trump administration violated federal law to keep her in post, a federal appeals court ruled Monday. The three-judge panel unanimously upheld a lower court's disqualification order that found Habba's appointment was non-compliant with a 1998 law governing federal vacancies. "It is apparent that the current administration has been frustrated by some of the legal and political barriers to getting its appointees in place," senior US Circuit Judge Michael D. Fisher wrote in a 32-page ruling.

Amazon knows this and takes full advantage . . . Insurance companies work the same way. More than 300 million Americans have some kind of coverage -- commercial, Medicare, or Medicaid. Every one of those plans hires a Pharmacy Benefit Manager, or PBM, to run drug benefits. The retirement of longtime Washington, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, a Democrat, has the potential to shake up the relationship between the Trump administration and the nation's capital city. Under President Donald Trump, Washington has become ground zero for the administration's efforts to boost immigration enforcement and reduce urban crime. The mayor's office, despite trading rhetorical barbs with the president, has been remarkably cooperative . . . But the battle to replace Bowser could pit business-friendly centrists against progressive Democrats, creating uncertainty in the White House about what kind of leadership it will contend with when the dust settles.
