New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani doubled down Sunday on his claim that President Trump is a “fascist” and “despot” — but says he can still work with him. “That’s something that I’ve said in the past. I say it today,” Mamdani told NBC’s “Meet the Press” when asked whether he still views Trump as a fascist. The socialist pol said he’s eager to work with Trump because they agreed that the Big Apple needs to be more affordable at their surprisingly chummy meeting Friday. “What I appreciated about the conversation that I had with the president was that we were not shy about the places of disagreement,” he said. “

I trust that DJT knows he's dealing with a snake and will take appropriate actions.

The Left can get quite cozy with "fascists" when it suits their purposes. Besides V. Molotov's infamous statement during the Hitler-Stalin Pact period that "fascism is a matter of taste," several of Mr. Mamdani's "progressive" forebears once had good things to say about fascism. Commies believe in religion, but it must be state run. They will adopt Islam as their state run religion. The irony is Muslims see this in reverse. Muslims believe they should run the state. Doubt either group plans on sharing power. By now, Trump has to realize the den of vipers he is dealing with. On the other side, Mamdani envisions himself as Obama's heir.

Jasmine Crockett is on quite a streak of shamelessness. One might say, a generational one. In that dubious category, the Dem rep from Texas reigns supreme in Washington DC, even in a week when President Trump told a reporter: “quiet piggy.“ It’s something to behold. She’s so consistently and ridiculously on the wrong side of objective truth, even CNN hosts are regularly swatting her down. On Wednesday, she attempted to pull a gotcha on Republicans accusing them of having a very cozy transactional relationship with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who died in 2019. On the House floor Crockett declared, “We’re gonna expose it all!” Narrator: “She only exposed her backside — and her incompetence.”

President Donald Trump announced Friday night that he is ending the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) program for Somali migrants in Minnesota, and claimed "Somali gangs" are bullying Americans in the state. The TPS program allows certain migrants to stay in the country legally if they cannot return home due to natural disasters, armed conflicts or other extraordinary events, and Minnesota has, in recent decades, become the home of tens of thousands of Somalians due to resettlement. Trump claimed in a post on Truth Social that Minnesota's Democratic Gov. Tim Walz has allowed the state to be a "hub of fraudulent money laundering activity,

The University of California system made news earlier this year when it eliminated mandatory diversity statements for new hires. But at California's other public university system, DEI isn't in retreat—it's required. Nearly every California State University campus requires students to pass at least one diversity and cultural competency class, according to graduation criteria identified by Do No Harm, a group that opposes identity politics in medicine. The exact requirements vary across schools, but they typically prescribe a specific course or allow students to pick from a list of classes that "explore the interrelatedness and intersection of race and ethnicity with class,

Liberal loudmouth Rep. Jasmine Crockett gave a mind-boggling explanation for why she accused Lee Zeldin and other Republicans on the House floor of taking donations from Jeffrey Epstein — desperately insisting she never said she was referring to the late convicted pedophile. Crockett (D-Texas) tried to defend herself Wednesday night in a CNN appearance after she was ripped for boldly implying that she’d found evidence linking the Long Island Republican and other prominent GOPers to the disgraced financier, who died in 2019. “Listen, I never said that it was that Jeffrey Epstein,” Crockett told “The Source” host Kaitlin Collins after being given the chance to correct the record.

America’s crime map is not random. And it is not evenly distributed. It forms a pattern, a persistent outline that says more about the country than any campaign speech or census brochure ever could. When you trace the safest states in America, you trace a corridor of calm: New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont’s shadow, Idaho’s long sweep of farms and foothills. Places where the pace is steady and the population overwhelmingly white. When you trace the most dangerous states, the pattern changes just as sharply — a concentration of chaos in states marked by sprawling cities, fractured communities, and the kind of “diverse” demographic makeup polite society insists you never mention.

It ain’t so much the things we don’t know that — Mark Twain (attributed) What’s the one thing everyone knows about capitalism? Why, that it started out as a mean, nasty tool of greedy industrialists, of course. “The Industrial Revolution,” we all learned, was a terrible Moloch that devoured children, put profits before people, and, though it made great fortunes (or, perhaps, partly because it made great fortunes), was a wicked development. The Industrial Revolution, we’ve all been taught, was the original sin of capitalism, necessary, perhaps, to prime the engine of economic progress, but lamentable nevertheless.

Comer warned the former president and his twice-failed presidential candidate wife that dodging these subpoenas with written answers will not cut it—it's a clear no-go, and could invite contempt of Congress charges. Originally subpoenaed in August, the Clintons asked their lawyer to request that the committee accept written statements rather than require them to sit for live depositions. Their attorney, David Kendall, claimed that written answers would be the “most efficient and equitable” approach. Comer shot that down.
