New York City mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani (D.) is backing a far-left candidate for New York State Assembly who said 9/11 was a manifestation of America's "system of capitalism," "racism," "white supremacy," and "Islamophobia." Mamdani, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, endorsed Palestinian activist Aber Kawas at a DSA meeting on Wednesday, the New York Daily News reported. The endorsement, the mayor-elect's first foray into local politics since his election win, is already garnering pushback because Mamdani did not support Kawas's primary opponent, a Spanish speaker with close ties

Aber Kawas has been organizing with the Arab and Muslim communities in New York City since 2010. Formerly the advocacy director at the Arab American Association of NY (AAANY), Aber has also worked with several other organizations such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) NY and the Urban Justice Center around issues such as immigration, police surveillance, racial profiling. She is currently the New York City Advocacy Specialist with the Campaign to Take on Hate under the National Network of Arab American communities. She is a 2018 Muslim Communities Fellow." Immigrants who don't want to assimilate but dominate. Here in Texas, I have been witessing this phenomenon since the late 70s. People migrate here for a better job and life and then want to turn the place into the "home" they fled. It began with the Michigan "KAH People" and only got worse. If you want home then GO HOME and fix your sh it hole. Texas used to be the friendly state but it is becoming as rude and unruly as the rest

Anyone who denigrates the Arab countries that refuse to accept any Palestinians into their nations I present Aber Kawas. While she apparently was born here, her parents are Palestinians we foolishly welcomed to the USA. Now she is running for a seat in the New York legislature. She hates Americans and hates this country. We need to adopt the Arab nations’ distaste and fear of the Palestinians.

If people don’t see it, then it’s willful blindness. The invasion has taken place. Now, situated in key locations where the damage inflicted can have maximum impact, the Islamo-fascists are making their moves here. It started slowly, and like an off-shore wave, is growing in size as it comes ashore. We are witnessing the colonization of our nation by the Mohammadans. Our very way of life, and that of our posterity are in peril.

I am disgusted that New Yorkers cannot see through this charlatan's greasy third-world tinpot grin. They are too mesmerized by the little-boy smile and smooth baby-kissing mannerisms that he shares with all of the 3rd world's socialist tyrants. My gosh, they all smile like angels, love puppies and children, and swear before the almighty that they are ready to lift up the poor and exploited. That's their schtick. Those poor simps don't realize that he and his backers not only spat in the faces of the only recently Islam-shocked citizenry of New York, but probably spent the last couple of weeks collectively slapping each other on the back with disbelief at how easy the whole takedown was. We can only take some hope in the fact that Mr. Madcommie still is a couple of months away from achieving his Islamist-Socialist dream, and there may still be time for citizens who love America and their city to come to their senses.

White Supremacy was practiced by the British and the Germans, the Kenyan boy wonder reignited racism here and Islamophobia wasn't a thing until after 9/11 when their America-trained pilots flew passenger planes into the Twin Towers. Our little fool Mamdani didn't pay much attention in school, wherever he attended.

Back in 1989, President George H. W. Bush talked about a “thousand points of light.” He meant it as a tribute to America at its best: the churches, charities, volunteer squads, neighborhood helpers, and everyday citizens who quietly held the country together. It was a gentle, optimistic image: millions of small acts of service lighting up the dark, proving that the American character didn’t depend on Washington but on the decency of ordinary people. Bush believed the culture was strong, the institutions were stable, and the nation’s story was still intact. A thousand civic lanterns, he thought, were enough to keep the republic lit. He was wrong —

A federal magistrate judge on Monday criticized federal prosecutors when ordering that they turn over grand jury evidence to the defense team representing indicted former FBI Director James Comey, who faces charges of perjury and obstruction of a congressional investigation. Magistrate Judge William Fitzpatrick said interim U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan made two statements to grand jurors that could be “fundamental misstatements of the law,” The Hill reported. “The Court recognizes that the relief sought by the defense is rarely granted,” Fitzpatrick said in the opinion. “However, the record points to a disturbing pattern of profound investigative missteps, missteps that led an FBI agent and a prosecutor to

The Supreme Court agreed to review an effort by the Trump administration to limit asylum processing claims from immigrants at the U.S.-Mexico border in an order issued Thursday. The key issue in the case, Noem v. Al Otro Lado, is over what constitutes "arrival in the United States" within the meaning of federal immigration law. The law provides that an alien who "arrives" may apply for asylum and must be inspected by an immigration officer. The legal question, however, is over whether an immigrant "arrives" to begin the process for the asylum claim when meeting immigration officers on the U.S. side of the border or while still on

The late William F. Buckley, Jr. must be credited as one of the people who established modern conservatism in the United States. He had a weather eye for what or who could help or hurt the movement. In the early 1960s, Robert Welch, founder of the John Birch Society, labeled former president Dwight Eisenhower, former secretary of state George C. Marshall, and many other leading Republicans as communists. He, and the Birch Society, claimed that every federal agency had been taken over by the communists. After many debates and much correspondence with Welch, Buckley led a movement to expel Welch and the John Birch Society from the conservative movement

In a memo to staff on October 30, Avelo Airlines’ head of flight operations Scott Hall painted a rosy, if defensive, picture of the company’s future. Avelo’s financial strategy was working, he said. The company had a big contract from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to do charter deportation flights, and despite some bumps, the future was bright. They had just hired more pilots and couldn’t buy aircraft fast enough to keep pace with demand. Sure, shutting down their entire West Coast operation looked bad, but it was good, actually, a long-planned move toward efficiency that had nothing to do with the “outrage mob” boycotting Avelo for its association with ICE.

Immigrants detained in facilities across the U.S. would be able to contact their lawyers and families under legislation filed by a group of congressional Democrats. The Restoring Access to Detainees Act affects immigrants who are placed in Customs and Border Protection or Immigration and Customs Enforcement facilities. Sponsors of the legislation said it follows months of “credible reporting” that ICE and CBP have prevented detainees from contacting family members or legal representatives. “The Trump administration’s practice of snatching people off the street and denying them access to lawyers or calls to family is cruel, unnecessary, and puts U.S. citizens and lawfully present immigrants at risk of wrongful detention and deportation,”

They were hoping the new map would yield control of 30 of the state’s 38 congressional districts — up from the 25 they currently hold — and help protect the narrow GOP majority in the U.S. House.
