New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd was shot and critically wounded in Midtown early Sunday morning and is now clinging to life at Bellevue Hospital, police and sources said. The shooting took place on West 38th Street near Seventh Avenue around 2 a.m., according to police, who did not identify Boyd as the victim. However, sources said it was the 29-year-old NFL cornerback. Cops said there have been no arrests and the shooting is under investigation. Boyd, a 5-11 defensive back for Gang Green joined the team this year after coming up with the Minnesota Vikings before the 2019 season. He has also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals and the Houston Texans.

New York City, Seventh Avenue at 2:00 am on a weekend. I feel for him but that boy ain't bright. I would much rather be camping out on the Serengeti Plain in a tent soaked in blood and a pencil for a weapon. At least you have a fighting chance there.

The weekend partay crowd strikes again. It's not a partay until a fight breaks out. Hey Mamdani! Still intend to fire all the police? Those social workers won't touch this. Yes, he will. Why? Because the criminals are his constituency. What do criminals want? No police! He's buying their votes. Plus, they won't hesitate to help steal elections. The rule of law is meant to be broken with these people and Mamdani is one of them. He may be mayor for life. Term limits?!? That's not his law!

One block from where I used to live. Of course it's Hell's Kitchen, but then they gentrified it and tried to call it Clinton. Nobody calls it that. It was okay when I lived there. Close to the bus depot with its statue of Ralph Kramden. At a lot of highway overpasses at on off ramps. Never a good thing for walking. And never a good idea at 2:00 a.m.

America’s crime map is not random. And it is not evenly distributed. It forms a pattern, a persistent outline that says more about the country than any campaign speech or census brochure ever could. When you trace the safest states in America, you trace a corridor of calm: New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont’s shadow, Idaho’s long sweep of farms and foothills. Places where the pace is steady and the population overwhelmingly white. When you trace the most dangerous states, the pattern changes just as sharply — a concentration of chaos in states marked by sprawling cities, fractured communities, and the kind of “diverse” demographic makeup polite society insists you never mention.

A British businessman who threatened to “gang-rape” and set fire to a flight attendant has had his jail sentence tripled after an appeals court ruled it was far too lenient. Salman Iftikhar, 37, was traveling first class from London Heathrow to Lahore with his three children and one of his wives in February 2023 when he turned violent midair. Police were spotted pulling the two men apart as anti-Turning Point demonstrators – including some donning keffiyehs – tried to intervene. Perhaps the greatest fallacy of the whole "our diversity is our strength" nonsense is the idea that people from Third World, or even post-Stone Age, low-trust societies can successfully set aside their culture and upbringing to function as members of a modern nation where their neighbor is a fellow citizen and not prey. Once upon a time, our education system was at least as devoted to developing citizens as it was to gender pronouns. Teachers took kids from rural Sicily, Jews from the ghettos of Poland and Russia, the kids of sharecroppers and coal miners; in fact, they took all comers and turned them into Americans

Target wants its employees to spread some holiday cheer — whether they like it or not, according to a report. The Minneapolis-based retailer issued a new directive mandating in-store workers smile and make eye contact and either greet or wave to any shopper that comes within 10 feet, according to Bloomberg News. If a customer steps within four feet, then the service rep is instructed to ask whether they need help or how their day is going, the new guidance said. Major retailers like Walmart and Disney have long used similar customer-greeting rules that require employees to smile, make eye contact and offer assistance when guests come within a set distance.

Hundreds of millions of smartphone users are now subject to porn bans and restrictions, as legislators in the U.S. and Europe either block adult websites completely or mandate identity and age verification checks on users accessing content. This plays into a fundamental misunderstanding of the way the global internet works. It also has drastic, long-term implications for the freedom of millions. And there are serious short-term threats as well, which has prompted a new Google warning. Whilst multiple U.S. states have enacted porn bans of various flavors, it is the U.K. that could be the trigger point for a more fundamental change to internet freedoms.

COP30, the UN climate conference, is underway in Belem, Brazil. Thousands of representatives from all over the world have journeyed to discuss how to cut carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions to try to fight human-caused climate change. But ten years after the Paris Climate Agreement, the global consensus on climate change is crumbling. COP30 is the thirtieth “conference of the parties.” The first took place in Berlin in 1995. At COP21 in Paris in 2015, more than 190 countries signed the Paris Climate Agreement, pledging to cut emissions and to limit global warming to 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels. About 50,000 people are attending COP30 from more than 190 nations.

But their definition of negotiating is “stalling for time.” In a podcast interview on November 10, Hamdan emphasized that only the first phase of the plan had been accepted, not Phase 2. The former First Lady wants you to believe that America rejected the idea of a woman leading the free world because we’re too primitive, too sexist, too stuck in the Stone Age to recognize brilliance when it smiles into a camera. Wrong. We rejected Kamala Harris — because she is, without exaggeration, the emptiest pantsuit ever shuffled onto a debate stage. She didn’t lose because she’s a woman. She lost because she’s incompetent, inauthentic, unprepared, and catastrophically unlikable.

For decades, the monolithic and sacrosanct international climate change hierarchy went unquestioned. Western nations in particular spent trillions of dollars over the past half-century to subsidize expensive but erratic wind and solar energy while demonizing carbon fuels as toxic threats to the planet. Like Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion dogma, climate change orthodoxy was embedded into every aspect of Western culture, from the corporate boardroom to the university campus. Question whether man-made global warming was truly responsible for increased temperatures rather than natural, often centuries-long cycles of heating and cooling of the planet, and one was labeled a climate crank.
