While some people are looking to New York City Mayor-Elect Zohran Mamdani to kiss their boo-boo and make it better, I think it is safe to say that most folks can recognize an underqualified empty suit when they see one. Mamdani's candidacy was successful due to a particular set of circumstances, coupled with outrageous promises to address issues ranging from unaffordable housing to food prices, as well as providing free bus and subway travel by executive fiat. At first blush, this looks like Lefitst Politics 101: promise the lumpenproletariat free stuff. However, a closer look reveals that we may be dealing with a man who is simply unmoored from reality.

No real surprise here. The Democrat leaders always have appealed to the ignorant and malcontent to expand their "base". This time, with Socialism in the mix, they also decided to reach out to the various perverts, psychotics and socially aberrant. Unfortunately, the asylum just elected one of their own this time. The danger is that he is both terminally incompetent and ideologically dangerous, which means he is going to very quickly be surrounded with the dregs of the political body. Say a prayer for the Big Apple.

Van Jones commented that Mamdani had offered a compelling case to elect him as mayor.
Kath Hochul knew full well that his promises of free busses could not happen.
Now this.
Mamdani's agenda is a fantasy, not a compelling case, not promises.
There a no adults in the Democrat party. I hope they suffer dearly for their foolishness.

Chances are when Netanyahu arrives in the USA, at a US port of entry located in New York or in some other state that he will have a US A-1 diplomatic visa that will exempt him from being arrested in the USA and will be protected by Federal State Department security officers. Under such conditions who in the NYPD is going to affect Netanyahu’s arrest? Maybe Mamdani Will lead the charge?

Would result in an IDF Commando raid to retrieve their head-of-state and take Mad Dummy back to Tel Aviv to sit in the same cage and dock where they kept Adolf Eichman. Trump and the US Military would stand by and allow it.

I don't think this Mayor is going to spend any time on streets, water, sewer, and public safety for NYers.

More political rhetoric for the useless idiots of the Dem party.
Mr. Mayor, if I were you, I would not tick off the country that controls the Mossad or the IDF.

People like Mamdani have descended from a political 'tradition' which adheres to the law of the land ONLY if it suits their purpose. Otherwise, election theft, lawfare, sedition and even assassination of opponents is game. So constantly harping on what the US recognizes under International Law and what it does not makes no difference.

That's what happens when you get someone in office who wasn't raised here. He knows nothing about our Constitution or our separation of powers. But, let the idiots who voted for him suffer for this. Unfortunately, they will take down those who didn't with them.

Does anyone suppose that the ridiculous promises made by Mamdani and the denouncement of those promises by knowledgeable people as being illegal, impractical as well as logically stupid concern them a little bit when they look forward to being led by an insolent child with a foul mouth?
Me neither.
Mamdani is the type who will surround himself with a royal group of bodyguards carrying automatic weapons as the common people in the streets descend into anarchy. The scenario has played out often across this world of ours.

Congenital liars cannot help themselves. Or perhaps he believes his own bullshit.
Let's hope he continues to prove himself the fool that the rest of us recognize. MAYBE New Yorkers will awaken to the clown show. OTOH, they did elect carpetbagger Hillary to the senate.
Then, there is the precedent that it's not compulsary to obey an unlawful order. The 5,000 police officers who have submitted regisnation papers may be followed by many more.
