Democrats thought they had a winning hand when they released three carefully selected Jeffrey Epstein emails on Wednesday morning. The timing was no accident. With their caucus still reeling from their base turning on them for caving on the government shutdown, they needed a distraction, and they believed these emails would deliver one. They were wrong.The so-called bombshell consisted of three email exchanges. The crown jewel of their selective leak was a 2011 email between Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell in which Epstein described Trump as "the dog that hasn't barked." He noted that a victim had spent hours with Trump at Epstein’s house.

The mainstream media frequently runs articles about child molesters interspersed with articles about these conservatives, implying that they are all equally bad. Run articles like this enough and people will start to make the association.
President Trump has continually said he’s sick and tired of this Epstein nonsense, from his perspective “a hoax’, taking attention away from priorities to make the U.S. economy thrive, energy independence and structural changes to the global economy putting America-First. However, those who seek to retain control over the global wealth system (and maintain the status quo) continuing manipulating the American psyche back to this ‘shiny thing’ in an effort to undermine the Trump agenda.
Large numbers of people, perhaps some with good intentions, just cannot see through this ruse and keep falling into this Epstein trap.

Hassaan Chaudhary, who identifies himself as newly appointed political director for Mamdani’s transition and inaugural committee on LinkedIn, used the word “Jew” as a slur, and even praised former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who infamously said Israel is “a cancer which will be eliminated soon.”
Chaudhary, who was the director of Muslim engagement for the Mamdani campaign, also described Israel as a “bloody country”
President Trump said Sunday that House Republicans should vote to release the files related to late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein — a surprising reversal after previously dissuading the GOP from backing the measure.

Several years ago, my husband Steve and I were watching TV as an American politician of Hispanic descent responded to a challenging question by an antagonistic reporter.
The politician gave such an eloquent and informed answer, sprinkling his response with historical facts, literary allusions, and even dashes of humor, that when he completed his answer, Steve said, “Damn...that is one brilliant guy!”
Reflexively, I expressed what I’ve privately suspected for ages when witnessing similar scenarios: “He’s probably Jewish!”
Steve laughed, but I meant it.
Not long after this episode, I read a book by Jon Entine, a former producer for NBC News and ABC News and the author of several books.

New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd was shot and critically wounded in Midtown early Sunday morning and is now clinging to life at Bellevue Hospital, police and sources said.
The shooting took place on West 38th Street near Seventh Avenue around 2 a.m., according to police, who did not identify Boyd as the victim.
However, sources said it was the 29-year-old NFL cornerback.
Cops said there have been no arrests and the shooting is under investigation.
Boyd, a 5-11 defensive back for Gang Green joined the team this year after coming up with the Minnesota Vikings before the 2019 season. He has also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals and the Houston Texans.

I saw this story out of Chicago today and it made me think of all the similar stories in places like Seattle, Portland and New York. The person in this story is a violent offender named William Livingston who has a long history of punching random women in the face and then walking away. Livingston has been arrested dozens of times and even gone to prison in the past, but no matter how many times this happens, he is always back on the street and going back to the same violent behavior. This week he was arrested yet again for two violent attacks that occurred in June.
If there’s any good that’s come from the government shutdown, it’s exposing all the fraud being committed to exploit the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
To be sure, there are millions of needy Americans who were hurting from being deprived of SNAP as they tried to support children and keep their families from going hungry. This is not about them. This is about the other people — the individuals who dip into this program unjustly at the expense of the taxpayer.
