A Minneapolis lawmaker who praised the speedy response he got from officials after he was carjacked has sparked a backlash from disgruntled locals who claim their own complaints are falling on deaf ears. Cop critic was carjacked by ''youths'' and mayor calls to comfort him. But ordinary citizens get too bad, so sad response to their violent carjacking.

If you can't report a crime against you or the police never investigate it leading to an arrest/prosecution, can the Democrat led cities truly say "look, crime is going down in our city!" WOnder how much this is happening in Chicago where they are claiming that crime was going down before ICE came along. If crime is not reported or prosecuted, it never happened.

In most areas the insurance company will not honor a claim if there is no police report. Minneapolis people are getting screwed from a couple of different directions, which is not always a good thing.

So, would this Jamal Osman be considered…King Osman? I think they need some outrage, even though they surely voted for this type behavior.

People of Minneapolis, you will never learn. The politicians you vote for are socialists and become members of the local Politburo. I am surprised that there is not a middle traffic lane reserved for their convenience.

While a number of Democratic lawmakers are voicing their support for a new bipartisan deal to bring the 40-day federal government shutdown to an end, members of the party’s left-flank are furious about the proposed agreement. Progressive Democratic lawmakers and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries excoriated a deal Sunday negotiated by fellow members of their party to reopen the government, citing their fear Democrats are going to cave without winning any substantive concessions in the shutdown fight. The group of Democrats argued their party should withhold their votes until Republicans agree to extend enhanced Affordable Care Act subsidies. “We will

WASHINGTON -- As Democrats savor their Election Day victories, some are capitalizing on the victory of New York City Mayor-Elect Zohran Mamdani and calling out party leaders for snubbing progressives, warning that alienating the left could cost them crucial House seats needed to take control and counter President Donald Trump’s agenda. (Snip) “There are no people, I think right now, who have a worse read on what electable means and less of a pulse on voters than the Democratic establishment,” said Morris Katz, who managed Mamdani’s campaign. Mayor Brandon Johnson is calling for more taxes on big companies in his 2026 budget proposal. Under the mayor’s plan, businesses in Chicago with more than 100 employees would have to pay $21 for each employee every month. Johnson said the extra charge would generate $100 million to fund local services like violence prevention. But it’s sparking heated debate as critics say the tax would hurt the local economy. Johnson defended the plan in a news conference Thursday, saying companies should invest more in the city. He told reporters that the tax would only impact 3% of the city’s largest

Democrats thought they had a winning hand when they released three carefully selected Jeffrey Epstein emails on Wednesday morning. The timing was no accident. With their caucus still reeling from their base turning on them for caving on the government shutdown, they needed a distraction, and they believed these emails would deliver one. They were wrong. The so-called bombshell consisted of three email exchanges. The crown jewel of their selective leak was a 2011 email between Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell in which Epstein described Trump as "the dog that hasn't barked." He noted that a victim had spent hours with Trump at Epstein’s house.

Across three-fifths of the United States, the Trump administration has found half a million people receiving SNAP benefits twice over and 5,000 dead people receiving them. In deep blue states, the fraud is probably much worse. It is important to clarify that 20+ states out of the 50 did not comply with the federal government's request for information on SNAP beneficiaries, likely because they are trying to hide how many illegal aliens are illicitly receiving food stamps. So the horrifying numbers revealed by U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins on Laura Ingraham's Fox News show, The Ingraham Angle, are actually incomplete, and will probably be much higher

Republican Rep. Tim Burchett (TN-18) offered up a softball pitch to Democrats suddenly clamoring for public transparency regarding the Jeffrey Epstein files. They whiffed worse than the Mighty Casey. Why? Because it's all a political ploy meant to take down their nemesis, President Donald Trump. As RedState Managing Editor Jennifer Van Laar reported Wednesday, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee genuinely thought they finally had Trump cornered when it came to the Epstein files. They released a trove of 20,000 documents from the late sex-trafficker's estate, then honed in on three particular out-of-context emails which, in their minds, showed something nefarious.
