A woman who was once one of California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s most trusted lieutenants has found herself in the crosshairs of the FBI. And it’s not looking great for her. On Wednesday, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of California dropped a bombshell news release stating that Dana Williamson, Newsom’s chief of staff from 2022 to 2024, had been indicted on a litany of charges. The 53-year-old Williamson has been charged by a federal grand jury with “conspiracy to commit bank and wire fraud, bank fraud, wire fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States and obstruct justice, subscribing to false tax returns, and making false statements,”

Newsie still has that D after his name. No matter how corrupt he is proven to be, I believe he could still get the Dem nomination in 2028.
Blame him for Pacific Palisades, and Dems would overlook it..... amazing, disgusting, outrageous. Greaseball.

I believe Newsom can be arrested for representing the U.S. at the climate change in Brazil without authorization.

Dana, dear, you lie down with dogs, you wake up with fleas, and you’re with the sleaziest dog in California. However, he will never face accountability.

Let's hope that this tracks back to Newsom, and he gets arrested.

Corruption by California democrats can probably be classified as a career choice. Meanwhile, Newsom is on a junket in Brazil trying to disguise it as a business trip but it's a Badmouth the USA trip like Obama used to take. He is promoting Climate Change, a false religion. Did he use the private plane again?

Well, isn't this rich. Some of Williamson's criminal baggage may implicate Gov. Brylcreem as well.

This from The Sacramento Bee: " :A spokesperson said the office put her on leave “as soon as” Williamson informed them that she was under federal investigation, and that she left the administration in November 2024, not the following month, as the office previously stated.
McCluskie is a longtime former chief of staff to Becerra, the former Biden official and California Attorney General now running for governor.

There was a lot of money spent on that high-speed rail. Where did that go? It sure didn't go to building a speed rail system. I'd bet there are a bunch more corrupt officials who become rich over the years. They should be audited, including any offshore accounts.

FTA: “The FBI will remain vigilant in its efforts to uncover fraud and corruption, ensuring our government systems are held to the highest standards.” Really? This is the first I have heard of ANY person in California EVER being held responsible for anything. And there's the usual FBI ad telling us how they are just fighting crime and and corruption every hour of every day.

Gavin Newsom swears he was just hired to play the piano and had no knowledge of what was going on upstairs.

Doubtful she figured this out on her own, and it's a common scheme in the upper echelons of CA political operatives.
Trust the FBI has the emails, phone calls, texts, etc. which may link others in the coming months.
