A bloody brawl broke out at a sold-out event for Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA at the University of California, Berkeley — with keffiyeh-clad protesters clashing with attendees and cops in disturbing scenes. One man could be seen with blood gushing from his face after getting into a fight with an agitator as the campus event for the group was kicking off late Monday, Fox News reported. Police were spotted pulling the two men apart as anti-Turning Point demonstrators – including some donning keffiyehs – tried to intervene. At least two people had already been arrested, including one for battery, before the event got underway, police said.

Comments:

Antifa believes in free speech as long as it's theirs. And at Berkley, what could go wrong?

Executive Order September 22, 2025 - Designating Antifa as a Domestic Terrorist Organization 18 USC 2331(5): (5) the term “domestic terrorism” means activities that— (A) involve acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State; (B) appear to be intended— (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and (C) occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States; DHS and FBI should be all over this. THIS kind of thing happened at nearly every Trump, Republican gathering and campaign event starting in 2015...it was the entire reason that Proud Boys was formed, they decided that someone who could and WOULD fight back ought to "Be around" when attacks happened, even if just for "The fun of it". They ended up getting arrested, investigated by multiple federal agencies, undercover sting operations launched, persecuted and prosecuted....but the Antifa that initiate all of these...Few arrests, fewer actually charged, nearly no convictions of any consequence, anywhere.

Antifa is a terrorist organization and should be treated as such. When leftist groups hold rallies, conservatives don't show up to protest and fight with the police. Leftist, liberal groups are totally out of control and unless they are stopped, they are going to murder those who are peacefully attending rallies. I hate for that to have to happen before the colleges take action to put a stop to the protests.

Antifa attacked peaceful citizens attending a rally. That is assault, not a "brawl" or a "clash," even if some of the victims of the assault attempt to defend themselves. Since at least the Jerry Brown era Antifa has acted as the de facto enforcement arm of the Democrat Party to enforce censorship the California State Government is constitutionally prohibited from imposing itself.

Antifa is not a Free Speech actor. This is guerilla warfare and should be handled as such. The Berkeley group By Any Means Necessary (BAMN) has a history of vicious assaults. They've never been held to account because the authorities in California support the Chaos Agenda. They only clean up their act when their Spiritual Leader arrives from China

Perhaps the greatest fallacy of the whole "our diversity is our strength" nonsense is the idea that people from Third World, or even post-Stone Age, low-trust societies can successfully set aside their culture and upbringing to function as members of a modern nation where their neighbor is a fellow citizen and not prey. Once upon a time, our education system was at least as devoted to developing citizens as it was to gender pronouns. Teachers took kids from rural Sicily, Jews from the ghettos of Poland and Russia, the kids of sharecroppers and coal miners; in fact, they took all comers and turned them into Americans

Target wants its employees to spread some holiday cheer — whether they like it or not, according to a report. The Minneapolis-based retailer issued a new directive mandating in-store workers smile and make eye contact and either greet or wave to any shopper that comes within 10 feet, according to Bloomberg News. If a customer steps within four feet, then the service rep is instructed to ask whether they need help or how their day is going, the new guidance said. Major retailers like Walmart and Disney have long used similar customer-greeting rules that require employees to smile, make eye contact and offer assistance when guests come within a set distance.

Hundreds of millions of smartphone users are now subject to porn bans and restrictions, as legislators in the U.S. and Europe either block adult websites completely or mandate identity and age verification checks on users accessing content. This plays into a fundamental misunderstanding of the way the global internet works. It also has drastic, long-term implications for the freedom of millions. And there are serious short-term threats as well, which has prompted a new Google warning. Whilst multiple U.S. states have enacted porn bans of various flavors, it is the U.K. that could be the trigger point for a more fundamental change to internet freedoms.

While Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani has gotten the lion’s share of the media attention these last several weeks, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg quietly sailed through his reelection bid, securing more than 70% of the vote. Bragg’s win reflects a bucking of what some might have been tempted to call a national trend of so-called “progressive” prosecutors around the country being made to suffer the electoral consequences of going soft on crime. Recent examples include LA’s George Gascón, Oakland’s Pamela Price, San Francisco’s Chesa Boudin, and Athens, Ga.’s Deborah Gonzalez, defeated in the wake of Laken Riley’s murder.

That’s the conclusion of a new paper in Scientific Reports, which adds to a growing agreement among scientists that the Earth’s atmospheric processes can affect its geological processes in surprising ways. “Ultimately, plate tectonic forces play the dominant role in driving continental rifting,” says geologist James Muirhead, senior lecturer at the University of Auckland in New Zealand and lead author of the paper. “However, our study shows that climate plays a key role in modulating the rate
