This Looks Like the Smoking Gun in the
Case Against James Comey

James Comey’s legal troubles just got a whole lot worse. In September, James Comey was indicted on charges of making false statements and obstruction of justice. Comey claims he’s the victim of malicious prosecution, and Democrats are out in full force claiming that this is part of Trump’s “revenge,” but newly filed evidence that Just the News obtained is quite damning. Prosecutors have revealed what looks like a smoking gun: Comey’s own words showing that he wasn’t merely aware his top aides were leaking to the press; he was actively congratulating them for it.

They’d better get a change of venue out of northern Virginia. Any jury in that location will ignore the evidence and acquit him.

I have no illusions that Comey or his type will ever go to jail. I am content that the facts come out, that history will judge him, and that he spends hundreds of thousands on legal fees.

Before Jack Smith became the main attack dog against Donald Trump, and long before congressional investigation uncovered his massive campaign against hundreds of Republican leaders and organizations, there was evidence of his prosecutorial misconduct — and Lindsey Graham reportedly looked the other way. Former Rep. Rick Renzi (R-Ariz.) was convicted on bribery and extortion charges, to which he pleaded “not guilty,” and was later given a full presidential pardon by President Donald Trump. A 2019 complaint and request for investigation filed on Renzi’s behalf by respected legal firm Mayer Brown provided evidence of prosecutorial misconduct by Jack Smith and David Harbach

The academic and civic life of James Stevens Curl presents a singular case in twentieth- and twenty-first-century architectural historiography: a scholar who combined rigorous research, pedagogic dedication, cultural activism, and a steadfast defense of beauty in the built environment. Born on 26 March 1937 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Curl’s career would span architecture, town-planning, heritage scholarship and cultural critique, culminating in works that not only set out descriptive histories of architecture but also advanced normative claims about the value of tradition, proportion, and visual harmony.

The recent news cycle has showcased stunning examples of leftists earning near-constant ridicule as their fabrications blow up in their faces. The Left's moral posturing crumbles under even cursory scrutiny and reveals a consistent pattern of hypocrisy, fabrication, and embrace of extremism. References to pots and kettles, glass houses, specks, beams, rakes, and petards are all getting a workout, and it's glorious to behold. Conservatives are basking in schadenfreude, needing only videos of Democrats performing perp walks to make our joy complete.

While campaigning in Derry, New Hampshire in 2019, Joe Biden suggested that coal miners simply learn to code to transition to “jobs of the future.” Joe said, “Anybody who can go down 300 to 3,000 feet in a mine, sure in hell can learn to program as well.” He made that remark almost five years ago. Little did he know he was flirting with the future, sending a warning about the characteristics of future jobs. Naomi Mitchison published a book in 1935 entitled We Have Been Warned. That title expresses Joe’s sentiment perfectly. Although Joe didn’t specifically cite Mitchison, he nevertheless sent a warning

President Trump took to Truth Social Sunday night with a post that has ignited fresh speculation about his administration’s findings regarding the 2020 presidential election. “What’s worse, the NBA Players cheating at cards, and probably much else, or the Democrats cheating on Elections,” he asked. “The 2020 Presidential Election, being Rigged and Stolen, is a far bigger SCANDAL. Look what happened to our Country when a Crooked Moron became our ‘President!’ We now know everything,” Think about that last line: “We now know everything.” The line has fueled speculation that the Trump administration may have uncovered what it considers conclusive evidence tying together multiple irregularities in the 2020 election.

The New York Times reported that Weiss stunned members of senior staff of the show “60 Minutes,” by asking a simple question: “Why does the country think you’re biased?” The inquiry was met with stunned awkwardness, according to three people who recounted details from the private session in Midtown Manhattan. The staff of “60 Minutes,” the nation’s most-watched news program, view their coverage as firmly nonpartisan and reject criticism from President Trump and his allies who argue that it has a liberal slant.

As you've heard, there is a governor's race in Virginia. It looked like an easy victory for the Democrats a few weeks ago, and then some texts surfaced and things changed. Former Secretary of Education, Senator and university president, Lamar Alexander, declared in the Wall Street Journal that “Donald Trump Isn’t a University President.” The old-school political insider and prior university administrator, goes on to criticize President Trump’s “Compact for Higher Education,” which would establish a national board of trustees for the 6,000 universities and colleges across the United States. Mr. Alexander tells readers that this will have the apparently distasteful consequence of establishing admissions guidelines, managing university costs, creating testing standards for faculty competence and hiring, and setting criteria for international student admissions. He asserts that this is an example of federal overreach.

Barack Obama really should follow the lead of old-time presidents and, instead of seeking the limelight, opt for a rocking chair on his front porch. In that way, he could spare himself the embarrassment of saying really stupid things. During a podcast with Marc Maron, Obama made a comment about using the National Guard that was meant to attack Trump, but merely made Obama look ignorant and partisan. Before even getting to the substance of what Obama said, what’s notable about the interview is how Obama looks. Like the fictional Captain Ahab in Herman Melville’s Moby Dick, New York Attorney General Letitia James had one overriding goal: to destroy the great white creature known as President Donald Trump. And like Ahab, she thought at one point she had succeeded. But if James had been better read, she might have known that she was going to destroy herself and her ship, while “Moby” Trump happily swam off into the sunset. Letitia James ran to become New York State’s attorney general on a single issue: she would destroy Donald Trump.

Are you sure about that? Are you sure about that? The Wall Street Journal reports this morning on the aftermath of the Big Apple fight over socialism, where capital lost. Zohran Mamdani won easily last night, winning an outright majority of ballots cast by New York City voters, 50.6% as of this morning with 87% of precincts reporting. Andrew Cuomo got 41.7%, while Curtis Sliwa -- the only rational candidate still left on the ballot -- received 7.1% of the vote. New York City has chosen socialism, and the WSJ suggests that capitalists will just have to suck it up. But is that their only option? Wall Street heavyweights failed to stop

The Vatican’s doctrinal office said Tuesday the titles of “Co-Redemptrix” and “Mediatrix” are not appropriate ways to describe Mary’s participation in salvation. In “Mater Populi Fidelis” (“The Mother of the Faithful People of God”), the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF) said when an expression requires frequent explanation to maintain the correct meaning, it becomes unhelpful. “In this case, the expression ‘Co-redemptrix’ does not help extol Mary as the first and foremost collaborator in the work of Redemption and grace, for it carries the risk of eclipsing the exclusive role of Jesus Christ,” according to the doctrinal note, released Nov. 4.

The White House offered no public condolences Tuesday on the death of former Vice President Dick Cheney — saying flags were lowered to half-staff at the executive mansion because the law requires it. President Trump has repeatedly attacked Cheney, who died Monday at age 84, as a “warmonger” and sparred with his daughter, former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) who served as the top Republican on the House select committee that investigated Trump’s role in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot. Far-left Democrat Zohran Mamdani has won New York City’s mayoral race — winning a mandate to move to enact his budget-busting, socialist agenda, according to preliminary projections. The Associated Press called the race for Mamdani, 34, about 40 minutes after polls closed, and with at least a few hundred thousand votes still to be counted. Mamdani carried 50.4% of votes to Andrew Cuomo’s 41.3% at around 9:40 p.m. The projection — which came with 75% of votes counted — also found GOP nominee Curtis Sliwa with rock-bottom 7.5%. The Uganda-born Mamdani will be the Big Apple’s first Muslim and first socialist mayor, as well as one of the youngest.
