Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem on Thursday flatly rejected a request by Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker to suspend immigration enforcements in the Chicago area until after Halloween. Pritzker cited children’s safety and an incident from Saturday in which Customs and Border Protection agents deployed tear gas in a neighborhood where kids were preparing for a Halloween parade. In turning down the request, Noem also cited children’s safety.

Pritzker was in effect addressing the “stupid” portion of the Illinois population when he called for a stop to Federal immigration enforcement activities over what he termed as being “Halloween weekend”, a time that does not exist, other than a few hours on Friday evening that is Halloween “trick or treat” time. Pritzker was insinuating to the “stupid” portion of the Illinois population that Federal Immigration Officers were going to interfere with the kids out “trick or treating” throughout Chicago if Federal Immigration enforcement activities over the entire weekend were not halted. Pritzker's statement and request was pure leftist Democrat BS!

When Obama and Biden were President, we were told immigration was a federal responsibility by leftist judges. Now that Trump is in charge, leftist judges are telling us sanctuary cities and enforcement of federal law within the states is not legal. Democrats are a criminal cartel, and Pritzker, Newsom, and Massachusetts and Colorado governors should be arrested.

Earlier this month, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) published “Islamophobia: A Guide for U.S. Catholics on Anti-Muslim Bigotry.” Showcased on the USCCB website with a lovely Islamic design cover, this 15-page booklet exhorts Catholics to “address the disturbing phenomenon of anti-Muslim sentiment in our times.” Introduced by the co-chairs of the National Catholic-Muslim Dialogue (NCMD) — Bishop Elias Lorenzo of Newark and Imam Kareem Irfan — the USCCB declares dire need to counter “the rising tide of anti-Muslim sentiment that has been present for decades.”

The crises at the heart of the government shutdown fight in Washington were coming to a head Saturday as the federal food assistance program faced delays and millions of Americans were set to see a dramatic rise in their health insurance bills. The impacts on basic needs — food and medical care — underscored how the impasse is hitting homes across the United States. Plans by the Trump administration to freeze payments to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program on Saturday were halted by federal judges, but the delay in payouts will still likely leave millions of people short on their grocery bills.

The story about the woman who supposedly stumbled upon the first J6 DC pipe bomb is starting to collapse under its own weight. Like so much of January 6… from the “Fedsurrection” crawling with undercover agents to the conveniently placed “explosives” that never went off… this political soap opera, or “psyop,” if you will, raises far more questions than answers. For those who’ve read our work, you already know we’ve spent years digging into the pipe bomb story and the government’s J6 narrative. What we uncovered is a laundry list of inconsistencies that any honest investigator would call “highly suspicious” at best.

As Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits dry up during Democrats’ government shutdown, the left-wing media along with millions of Americans reliant on SNAP are complaining about the lapse in coverage. But mixed into these complaints is a viral article highlighting that roughly 90,000 noncitizens will also lose SNAP access — not because of the shutdown, but because of the One Big Beautiful Bill. Advocates for noncitizens using taxpayer-funded welfare are using the moment of outrage about SNAP benefits pausing to pile on their grievances. The problem?Americans are realizing, many for the first time, just how much SNAP has been exploited to pay for noncitizens’ groceries.

The day before the start of the latest shutdown drama, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries declared that Republicans were “lying” about the Democrats’ hostage demands to turn the lights back on. No, the left’s spending plan would not pay for health care for illegal immigrants, the New York Democrat said. Doing so would require a change in federal law that bars such a thing, echoed Jeffries’ pals in corporate media. “Nowhere have Democrats suggested that we’re interested in changing federal law,” he told NBC News for a story under the misleading headline, “GOP misleads with claim that Democrats shut down to give health care to ‘illegal immigrants.’”
