LOS ANGELES -- A new report from business review company Yelp gives Los Angeles the top spot for being the most rat-infested city in the United States. "Los Angeles earned the unenviable title of America's #1 rodent hotspot, with more Yelp searches for rodent services than any other city. Los Angeles's densely populated neighborhoods create the perfect hiding spots for these tiny trespassers, especially as drought conditions drive wildlife closer to homes in search of food and water," Yelp said in its Fall Infestation Index report. Target, which has been struggling with sales in recent years, is eliminating 1,800 roles or about 8% of the company’s global HQ team, in a restructuring aimed to reduce “layers and overlapping work,” according to a memo seen by ABC News. The Minneapolis-based company is in the middle of a CEO transition with incoming chief executive Michael Fiddelke, a company veteran who will take the top job in February, and has started to implement his vision. "The truth is, the complexity we’ve created over time has been holding us back. Too many layers and overlapping work have slowed decisions, making

With the aid of government subsidies, we are putting up electric generating windmills all over the place. Such subsidies include the Production Tax Credit (PTC), which, according to the Institute for Energy research (IRER), provides a per-kilowatt-hour tax credit for electricity generated by qualified wind projects; and the Investment Tax Credit (ITC), which provides a tax credit based on the investment made in renewable energy projects, including wind.
