US announces attack on Colombia rebel
group boat as Trump ends aid

WASHINGTON - The United States announced Sunday another strike against what it called a drug-running boat, this time attacking an alleged Colombian leftist rebel vessel in an apparent expansion of a US military operation off the coasts of South America. Word of the attack from Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth came as President Donald Trump said the United States is halting financial aid to Colombia and will announce tariffs against it on Monday. The United States has had warships deployed in the Caribbean off Venezuela since August and has attacked at least six boats it said were running drugs toward the United States, killing at least 27 people so far.

FTA: 'Until now, Colombia has received more US aid than any other country in South America -- $740 million in 2023, according to US government figures. Half of this went to fighting drug trafficking.' Be honest! All of this went to increasing drug production and trafficking.

Our government philosophy across the entire world is that buying friendship will keep those countries from doing bad things to us. It has not worked out even once but the kickbacks to the democrats keep it going. Thank you, DOGE, for exposing this corruption.

Sooner or later the cartels will lose patience and send a message by carrying out an attempt on the President's life or on a member of his family so they can re-establish their trafficking routes. God forbid. What an awful thought.

Poster 2 asks a good question, "Why do we give aid to countries who hate us". Further, why do we allow Cuba to continue to exist as a communist nation, literally on our doorstep, when we could easily overthrow that weak government. Cuba provides aid to many of our enemies and would allow weapons of mass destruction, aimed at the US on their soil if our powers of detection weren't so capable.

Good points, #8. An interesting fact about Cuba and our "powers of detection" is that Roy Boehm, one of the first SEALs, observed Russian missiles being unloaded in Cuba when he posed as a poor fisherman on the docks down there, leading up to Kennedy's Cuban missile crisis. Now it's China who has their eye on that prize location.

HOUSTON, Texas — A Union Pacific railroad employee reported the discovery of a brush fire near a storage facility along an interstate highway in Houston. Firefighters responded and found the partially burned body of a man hanging by a rope from the overpass, police officials stated. The grim discovery of a man found hanging and partially burned beneath a Houston freeway Thursday night has drawn chilling parallels to cartel-style executions long documented by Breitbart’s Cartel Chronicles Project in northern Mexico, where bodies are often displayed in public as a message. While Houston police have not confirmed any connection to organized crime, investigators say the circumstances strongly suggest homicide,

There's applying pressure, and then there's PRESSURE. Donald Trump is an expert on both, and he is dumping tons of the latter on the tinpot tyrant of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro. The raging authoritarian in charge of the failed narcostate has been a key portrait in the Trump bullseye ever since the administration was sworn in. Even though Maduro was a priority during his first administration, Trump Part Deux has a new focus and determination to not only shut down the drug and human trafficking pouring out of the country, but to do everything in his power to rid the country of Maduro's evil influence entirely.

Tennessee's Attorney General, Jonathan Skrmetti, announced a significant legal win Thursday in a case involving a Biden-era redefinition of the word "sex" to include gender identity. Tennessee and 14 other states brought suit against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services in May 2024, challenging the Biden administration's "Final Rule" which included an interpretation of the non-discrimination provision in § 1557 of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) to include gender identity (and thus, to mandate the provision of "gender affirming care").

The Democrats have been trying to blame President Donald Trump and the Republicans for the government shutdown. The Dems were hoping that the "No Kings" protests would provide them with some ballast for their fight against Trump. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) was hoping that he would appease the radical leftist base so he could hold onto his seat. The problem with that? The ridiculous "No Kings" exercise is now over, and we still have no kings. All this did was expose how the Democrats were focused on something that isn't real, versus the real issue of opening the government and doing something for the American people.

Senate Democrats aren't satisfied yet with the amount of violence directed at ICE and CBP agents, so they are planning to create what they call a "Master ICE Tracker to warn illegal aliens about ICE activity, and give Antifa militants more information about where exactly to position themselves for ambushes. Assaults on ICE agents have skyrocketed by 1000%, and the violence directed at them has escalated from throwing Subway sandwiches to taking potshots at them and ramming cars into agents. But, to Democrats, ICE is the modern Gestapo; it seems like this level of violence and resistance to law enforcement officers is not nearly enough.
