The New Georgia Project was a voter registration and turnout organization founded by Stacey Abrams back in 2013. In theory it was a non-partisan group but in practice it was there to help Democrats win elections by bringing more Black and Latino voters to the polls. But now the group has announced that it will dissolve and will cease to operate this week. Once one of the most influential political groups in the South, the New Georgia Project is shutting down this week, marking a stunning fall for an organization that pushed to advance Democratic causes for more than a decade. Former Biden White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre unleashed on the Democratic Party in an excerpt from her new memoir, explaining why she decided to become an independent after years as a party flack. In the excerpt, Jean-Pierre detailed the phone call in which then-President Joe Biden told the White House team that he was dropping out of the race, Newsweek reported. "Biden seemed to be totally at peace with his decision, but I was stunned, my feelings a blur. I was angry and sad. Actor John Cusack delivered a fiery message to President Donald Trump during a CNN interview Saturday at Chicago's "No Kings" rally, telling the president to "go to hell" over the deployment of Border Patrol and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to his beloved hometown. Speaking at one of over 2,600 coordinated demonstrations taking place across the United States and internationally, Cusack criticized what he characterized as Trump's use of "masked goons" conducting immigration enforcement operations in Chicago. n September 10, by one bullet, the world was changed. Charlie Kirk, a fierce advocate for Judeo-Christian values and traditional American principles, was assassinated. His death didn’t just silence one of the century’s most influential voices—it shattered a family and exposed a growing rift in America’s moral fabric. While a strong segment of the American population was naturally shocked by the gruesome death of a Christian martyr, we also witnessed troubling jubilation from students and even teachers at institutions of learning across America. Even here in Texas, we saw students celebrating the assassination of a strong man who stood firmly for biblical values and traditional American principles.

A gang of brazen thieves dropped the priceless Eugénie Crown outside the Louvre in Paris during a jaw-dropping daylight heist of the world's most visited museum. The group of criminals swiped priceless items, including a necklace and a brooch once belonging to Napoleon Bonaparte and his wife Josephine, in broad daylight, forcing the tourist attraction to shut its doors. The raid, which took place at around 9.30am on Sunday, saw the thieves brazenly break into the art museum, which is also home to the Mona Lisa, by propping a huge freight elevator up against its walls, according to an investigating source. The group of several 'highly organised criminals' arrived on scooters, masking their

In another since-removed post from 2020, Platner responded to a thread titled “White people aren’t as racist or stupid as Trump thinks” by writing, “Living in white rural America, I’m afraid to tell you they actually are.” And these comments weren't very old. Jack Smith may have thought he was untouchable when he led the Biden administration's legal crusade against Donald Trump, but Republican lawmakers are now making it clear that his alleged abuses won't go unanswered. On Friday, Senator Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, joined by a coalition of Republican senators and one congressman, sent a blistering letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi referring the former special counsel to the Department of Justice's Office of Professional Responsibility and two state bar associations for investigation. The charge? Professional misconduct that is serious enough to warrant potential disbarment. “As part of Jack Smith’s weaponized witch hunt, the Biden DOJ issued subpoenas

Heather Mac Donald optimistically declares “The end of the race hustle.” Heather’s article is long, and data-rich. I recommend reading it all. She credits President Trump with being uncowed by the Left’s accusations of racism, and offers hope that race-baiting no longer works: For decades, pointing out that any action, public or private, had a black target or fell disproportionately on black people was sufficient to discredit that action, regardless of whether it was couched in terms of race or had a racist intent. Want to fire an employee? Good luck if that employee is black; such a dismissal would be presumptively racist. Tempted to criticize a government official for

It was a moment that anyone would celebrate–anyone but a liberal, that is. The same people who organized demonstrations around the world demanding a cease fire were oddly silent when they got their wish. In other news, peace may be breaking out in Ukraine, too. Here's a Newsweek headline on the project: "Behind Schedule, Over Budget, and Mired in Lawsuits."The local community was also unhappy with it or had concerns. One resident called it a "monstrosity," taking away from the beautiful area that once was there. So much for the feelings of the locals. Guess those got lost in the narcissism.

In an agreement with the American Federation of Teachers, the White House will again start processing student loan forgiveness for eligible borrowers in two income-driven repayment plans – Income-Contingent Repayment and Pay as You Earn – until they expire. President Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill” is slated to phase out those two programs by July 1, 2028. They have over 2.5 million enrollees total, a higher ed expert estimated.
