If you're not a person who hates Israel and who has routinely shown sympathy for their terrorist enemies, Monday was a good day, with the surviving hostages being released as a result of the historic peace deal between Israel and Hamas, brokered by President Trump and members of his administration. But Monday was not a good day for CNN's longtime chief international anchor Christiane Amanpour, a British-Iranian "journalist" whose name has become synonymous with Israel- and America-bashing.
As RedState reported earlier, Amanpour was one of the sour-faced media figures who, while talking about the hostages being released, seemed to fret about Hamas supposedly losing their "leverage" in the deal.

CNN is a worthless, dying network and Amanpour is part of the reason why. She is perfectly comfortable saying hateful things that she obviously believes and no "apology" is going to make it right.

Notice sour puss Kaitlan Collins did not push back against Amanpour’s disgraceful lie. Kick Collins out of the briefing room until she apologizes. Also, I have news for Collins, honey, you are not that cute.

Although I am not a consumer of the collapsing news network's so-called "news product", I'm aware of Amanpour and what she is - another lefty throwback who is circling the drain along with her employer.

Amapour at least is honest about her hatred of Jews, she doesn;t try to hide it. What she is lacking is tellling the TRUTH, but no Muslim sympathizer would know anything about that. Why would she grow a conscience and ruin a good thing? Being a Jew-hater in the MSM is pretty lucrative-her clothes cost more than 99% of the world's population individual net worth. She's fete'd wherever she goes, stays in the BEST hotels...the gravy train is rolling on biscuit wheels for her. I wonder how she'd feel if her relatives were machine-gunned, beheaded, burned alive, and taken hostage & starved & tortured for a couple of years. Special place in Hell for this one is reserved-I hope Satan himself has a theme-park of red delights just for her.

CNN, Americans have had enough of this over the top hatred from your on-air "journalists" - what's taking you so long?

Our domestic CNN is different from CNN international. I'm guessing CA's agitprop is readily available to billions.

Amanpour needs to move back to Teheran and see if she can make it big in the television market there (surely the money will be the same as at CNN, right?). She may have to put on one of those heebeejeebees as she reads the news, though. Enamored as she is of the Middle East lifestyle, she won't mind that little restriction on women, right?

Her comment is like the argument that Southern Plantation owners treated slaves well because they were investment assets.
As usual an apology only offered because of the reaction. Not genuine and not acceptable.

Pretty sure half of Hamas' Israeli hostages died in captivity. Must be the other half Amanpour was talking about who were "being treated better than the average Gazan". How can you possibly believe ANYTHING these people say?

The several dozen captives who died while, as Ms Amanpour states, were treated better than Gazans by their captors may differ with her opinion. Well, except for the fact that the Hamas thugs killed them and they aren't able to express that anymore.

Yo War Slut! Tell that to the babies that were baked alive or shot by these muslim savages. Gazans were treated much worse, no?

"But I regret also saying that they may have been treated better than many Gazans because Hamas used these hostages as pawns and bargaining chips.
It was insensitive and wrong."
If Amanpour really meant it, she would have said: "I was insensitive and wrong."
Instead, she used the nebulous "passive voice", favored by insincere apologists everywhere.

She says she only learned that a hostage was forced to dig his own grave AFTER she made her disgusting comments. And yet, we saw the video quite a while ago, didn't we? Is it possible she's fibbing?
