French President Emmanuel Macron is running out of wiggle room. The abrupt resignation of his prime minister Monday — Macron’s fourth in more than a year of almost ceaseless political upheaval — puts the French leader in a bind.
None of the options now look appealing for Macron, from his perspective at least. And for France, the road ahead promises more of the political uncertainty that is eroding investor confidence in the European Union’s second-largest economy and is frustrating efforts to rein in France’s damaging state deficit and debts.
Domestic turmoil also risks diverting Macron’s focus from pressing international issues — wars in Gaza and Ukraine, security threats from Russia,

France is circling the drain and ALL of their problems lead back to Macron.

Look to France as an example of where Socialism will eventually lead. Other Euro nations will follow.

Reading this AP report, one could conclude that the problem is the lack of any party on the right. They have left, center, and far right. Nothing that counts as simply "right," and of course no "far left" because AP writers are on the left and therefore not "far" from it. They probably don't associate (or even know) anyone right of center, so obviously the right is far away--like aliens or something--and outside the range of acceptable disagreement.
This is the same skewed view they bring to reporting on the U.S., Britain, Germany, and the rest of the Western world. In reality, the "far right" in all of these countries (Republicans, Reform UK, National Rally, AfD) is becoming the majority as people come to understand that they are the only sane voices left.

The French are running from the Muslims now, and they don't even have any unfired rifles to drop.

Putin, Macron, Merz and Starmer are the four European leaders posing the greatest threat to American interests and values. Elections are irrelevant to Putin, but the other three are only an election away from losing power.

"Emmy" is such a small man. He should change his name's spelling to "Micron"

A significant portion of French voters are fed up with unending immigration and corrupt government. I hope that this means that Marine Le Pen, who seems to be the only French politician with any ability to stand up for the ordinary Frenchman and Frenchwoman, may have a chance of being elected.
The globalists have tried to make her a criminal, by the usual fraudulent twisting of the "legal process" into lawfare, but it doesn't seem to be working against her.

France needs to wake up and face reality. It's a dangerous world out there and hey need to close their borders and sort out what they want as a nation. They are overrun by foreigners who are messing with whatever good they have in their country.

They're not known as the "feckless French" for nothing. Think Inspector Clouseau.... as the president of France.

I have read "The Government has COLLAPSED!" many times.
No, the Government has not collapsed. Anarchy does not reign. There is no civil war.
There was a vote, and the officials voted amongst themselves that they did not like what the people at the top were doing. So they will argue amongst themselves, they will rearrange the musical chairs, and the song will begin again, this time perhaps with someone else in the lead role.
But the real collapse is coming. France is being overrun by the Muslims, and when they are numerous enough to believe that they can seize power... THEN we will see a REAL 'collapse'.... or maybe the French government and the French people will survive, and will kick out the Muslims, back to the lands from which they came.

3, don't listen to the press. France has a very far left, a far left, and a center. They don't have anything on the right. Le Pen would be a moderate left in the US.

We should have made France our 51st State. We owe them more fealty in our foundation as a nation than the Brits ever did.
