The events that have been taking place in Europe since the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 had never before occurred in the same cumulative fashion in the continent’s history. First, led by the United States of America, member states of NATO and the European Union jointly defeated the artificial creation of the Leninist cum Stalinist imperial monster that kept the world under the threat of nuclear annihilation for the sake of a morbid ideology laden with apocalyptic horrors of ruthless political incompetence, utter economic misery, financial ruins as well as frightened illegitimacy.

I often wonder what Russia and the former Soviet Union ever brought to the world for the benefit of humanity. The finest classical music and wonderful artwork first and foremost. But aside from these, nothing else thanks to Putie, other than misery for the rest of the world.

#1, the best Russian music came before the fall of the Tsars. Following that debacle, there were only exiles like Stravinsky or those who endured in spite of the system, like Shostakovich.

The Russian Federation is not dying, far from it. It is energy independent, food independent, has vast natural resources, higher educational standards, low crime, no drug culture, has no illegal immigration problem, no DEI culture, leads in nuclear power development, builds nuclear submarines and nuclear weapons, launches spacecraft, builds aircraft and is the world ‘s largest helicopter manufacturer, is dramatically more political agile than Western countries, is an ally and shares a border with the China, the world’s largest trading and manufacturing nation its citizens are significantly more patriotic and unified than the West. The US fought the Vietnam War halfway round the world, Russia fights on its own steps. The US is the biggest debtor nation in the history of the world, Russia continues to function even with sanctions.Thinking the Russian Federation is dying is rediculous.

This is, by far, the most accurate and precisely correct evaluation of the evil that Putin is that Ihave ever seen.
Working and traveling in the Russian Federation, managing scientific research projects from 2004 to 2014, I read in the Moscow Times about Putin as he had several inconvenient reporters murdered in broad daylight on the sidewalk in front of their apartments as they started to work. Of course, no one was arrested. He did many other things which proved that he is completely corrupt and without the slightest trace of morality.
A complete defeat of the Russian armed forces is the only way that this can end in a stable situation. I really wonder if the Euroweenies ( aside fro Ukraine and Poland) have the spine to do what is needed.

Not true, #3. You are buying the Russian propaganda, smoke and mirrors.
I travelled far and wide in Russia, visiting many smaller cities and towns, in addition to much time in Moscow. EVERYWHERE there were closed, stripped and useless factories. The make nothing at all that anyone outside the country would buy. Only oil and gas, plus some gold and platinum from the far east of Siberia are ways that they earn real, hard money. They barely can feed their rapidly shrinking population, which is one reason why Putin wants the very fertile farmland and hard working farmers of Ukraine to be his slaves. The life expectancy of a Russian man is about 60 years due to rampant alcoholism, drug addiction and disease. All the people outside of Moscow and St. Petersburg mostly live in rotting log homes on mud streets.

Zeihan is very much against Trump, and I think much of his political stuff in the USA is baloney. But outside the USA, he is worth listening to. He has a lot of really good facts, and what he says about Russia fits what I saw in Russia over 20 years prior to 2014.
