Does Pope Leo condone homosexual behavior?
Prominent Catholic scholar responds

Pope Leo XIV has won many plaudits for aspects of his Petrine Ministry so far--his Christ-centred preaching, personal kindness, and emphasis on peace and reconciliation to name a few. But recent events at the Vatican have heightened concerns that Leo is also tolerating, and perhaps even condoning, elements of the previous pontificate that were particularly harmful to souls on account of the public scandal they caused. (Snip) So what would St. Aurelius Augustine of Hippo have made of them? To find out I asked Professor John Rist, widely regarded as one of the Church’s finest scholars of St. Augustine and the fathers of the early Church.

It appears that he does not condem homosexuality, and doesn't punish those who support it and support abortion. Not a good look for a pope.

It's there .It's in the higher hierarchy of the Church , it's why Benedict left and it's why Francis was elected he cannot beat it and he cannot condone it. He is going along to get along. That's my opinion.

we here, the church militant, had hopes of wresting back our ancient church from the scandalous persons and events, who are pleased to call themselves pope and vatican. sadly, no. they're dropping us deeper in it, acting in concert w/ the usual horned red suspects. more and more real catholics are being driven under ground. 29 sept is the feast of the archangels. i'll ask st michael for a broom--and legions of warrior angels-- to clean house.

In a recent social media post, an Oberlin student called for a return to “political assassinations” following conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s death last week, when he was shot and killed while speaking at a Utah university. Oberlin College and Conservatory President Carmen Twillie Ambar confirmed Thursday that Julia Xu attends the college. “Last week, an Oberlin student published a personal social media post that glorified political assassinations and incorrectly linked this ideology to the perspective of a faculty member,”... “The student has subsequently issued a public apology and expressed deep regret.” Ambar said that the comments do not reflect the college and conservatory.

I didn't agree with Charlie Kirk, but I respected his First Amendment right to speak, though it's the Second Amendment he often spoke of so keenly. It will be a match race now to see which amendment will be the one most closely tied to his legacy, and that should grieve every American. (Snip) Trump did not order flags lowered in June, when Minnesota State Rep. Melissa Hortman, a Democrat, was assassinated alongside her husband ... Kirk once said gun deaths were worth the right to bear arms. (Snip) I don’t think his life, or anyone’s, is worth losing just so I can own a gun.

COLUMBUS, Ohio [WJW-TV Cleveland] - A state lawmaker proposes allowing utilities to take control of volunteering customers’ thermostats or appliances, to decrease overall demand on the energy grid in times of peak consumption. Such optional demand response programs are already available to large commercial users, but House Bill 427, introduced in late August by state Rep. Roy Klopfenstein, R-Haviland, would allow utilities to develop them for residential consumers. “This legislation is a crucial step in our state’s comprehensive plan to ensure all Ohioans have access to reliable, affordable and readily available energy,” The programs wouldn’t be mandatory. If any governor should know the risks of sending the National Guard to police an American city, it should be the governor of Ohio. Four protesters were killed and nine others wounded, including one who was paralyzed from the waist down. The pieces of this puzzle are starting to come together, and what emerges is a picture that makes perfect sense when viewed through the lens of raw self-interest. Hunter Biden, a man who has spent decades leveraging his father's position for personal gain, may have personally engineered his own presidential pardon. Why do I think this may have been the case? Well, Biden’s former chief of staff, Jeff Zients, revealed during his House Oversight Committee testimony this week that Hunter Biden wasn't just sitting on the sidelines during those crucial final weeks of his father's presidency—he was actively participating in pardon discussions, attending multiple meetings with White House aides.

Mayor Johnson took a more theological approach, saying jailing criminals is "racist, unholy and doesn’t lower violent crime rates." That was on August 25, a week before all the mayhem in Chicago. We're now halfway through September, and Mayor Johnson continues to object to putting criminals in prison. (X) As one X user said, "Imagine saying that to the families

Senate Democrats this week said they’d let the Republican short-term spending bill pass, and so avoid a government shutdown as of Oct. 1, for the low, low price of . . . $1.5 trillion. Yep, they demand that much added spending, which means $1.5 trillion in new federal debt over the next decade. To add a single month of uninterupted federal operations, the GOP must agree to: 1) permanently extend Biden-era ObamaCare subsidies that now sunset Dec. 31, and 2) gut the health savings just passed in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, and 3) unfreeze $5 billion in foreign aid that President Donald Trump recently stopped while Congress was on (yet another) vacation.

Finally, he insinuated that Charlie was a racist and at least partially responsible for his own death. As always, America’s foremost “divider in chief” excels at rubbing salt in gaping wounds. The Soros network of NGOs must have recently sent out marching orders instructing Democrats to speak favorably of Obama’s presidency because every prominent Donkey Party politician has tried to rewrite Obama’s divisive reign

This feud has been heightened ever since Trump sent ICE agents to LA to round up illegals earlier this year. Perhaps with this in mind, Newsom’s press team posted a tweet that many read as a threat on Noem’s life. It was certainly vague enough to be interpreted that way.
