A judge has thrown out the top counts in Luigi Mangione’s state murder case – rejecting claims that the accused killer can be charged as a terrorist — in a huge blow to prosecutors. In a ruling released Tuesday, Judge Gregory Carro tossed charges of murder in the first degree as an act of terrorism and murder in the second degree as a crime of terrorism against the 27-year-old Ivy League grad. The judge did keep alive Mangione’s other second-degree murder charge. The decision means that Mangione still faces 25-years-to-life in the state case, but not the 25 years to life without the possibility of parole that he had been facing.

Comments:

If the photo of him shooting CEO Thompson in the back isn't murder in the 1st, what is?
Still faces other charges.

The "lunatic" left will likely earn their moniker in the upcoming completion of this "trial". Video evidence would convict most anyone of this crime, unless of course you're a darling of the lunatic left which is at infestation levels throughout the New York judiciary/court system.

Well, this is actually what fat boy Bragg wanted; to jack up this case. Luigi could walk free this afternoon and fat boy would Ok with that. He traded a true 1st degree murder charge for a lesser charge of 2nd degree; it will probably be reduced to jay-walking (ie: crossing the street to shoot in the back) by the time the trial starts.

The crime was first degree murder, as the perpetrator planned beforehand on murdering the victim, or he would not have been at the scene of the murder, and shot the victim in the back clearly murdering him!

Terrorism? Questionable. First Degree murder ----------That's what it was. he should get the death penalty or life in prison without parole.

The State of New York abolished the death penalty a while back, so life with/without parole is the only possible penalty for 1st degree murder. But he possessed a gun against city laws and that would be an easy conviction with additional years behind bars. The feds could also probably convict him of denying the CEO of his civil rights if they wanted to file Federal charges. There should be numerous ways to keep Luigi locked up till he dies with multiple sentences to be served sequentially not concurrently.

Randi Weingarten humiliated herself on social media regarding Charlie Kirk’s assassination. She’s a lefty, so it’s not all that unusual, but this terrible incident has sparked an exceptional level of mental regression that just leaves me in awe. The Left tried to argue that Tyler Robinson, the suspect who assassinated Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University in Orem on September 10, was a conservative and a Kirk fan. He was such a supporter that he killed the Turning Point USA founder. Absolute lunacy. He was a leftist who shacked up with some transgender—that’s not MAGA at all.

A public school teacher has been suspended after allegedly showing a video of Charlie Kirk’s assassination to students as young as 10 in his class, authorities in Canada said. The teacher also suggested that Kirk deserved to be killed, and gave the young students a speech about anti-fascism and transgender issues, according to a report. “Several students from his class went home and complained to their parents, traumatized at witnessing the on-camera death, which they were forced to witness numerous times over,” a source told the Toronto Sun after the shocking incident at a school in Toronto on Thursday.

Breitbart News reported that Kirk was shot and fatally wounded about 12:20 p.m. during a Q&A at a speaking event at Utah Valley University (UVU). Since then, law enforcement has identified and arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson in connection with the shooting. Now, FOX News’ Brooke Singman is reporting that Robinson “lived with his his transgender partner.”

But around 5:30 p.m., DePerno said a store print supervisor named “Beryl” called and told organizers the order would not be completed because the poster was “propaganda.”

On October 7, 1933, President Franklin D. Roosevelt fired William E. Humphrey from his post at the Federal Trade Commission. The reason was purely political: The president wanted someone who could advance his priorities.. "I do not feel that your mind and my mind go along together," Roosevelt told Humphrey in a letter.
