Florida state officials announced on Thursday that they are monitoring how teachers are reacting to the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. Educators could face consequences if they are caught celebrating or justifying Kirk’s death.
In a memo sent to school district superintendents, Florida’s commissioner of education Anastasios Kamoutsas wrote, “It has been brought to my attention that some Florida educators have posted despicable comments on social media regarding the horrific assassination of Charlie Kirk.”
“These few are not a reflection of the great, high-quality teachers who make up the vast majority of Florida’s educators,” Kamoutsas continued.

Some Florida teachers, corrupted by leftist politics, are going to get their walking papers. That's good. I hope they holler real loud when they're let go for being indecent people. Stephen King, mentioned late in the article, continues to offer evidence that he has lost his soul, if he ever had one to begin with. A vile individual he is.

There was a teacher here in Iowa that made the mistake of making a nasty post about Charlie Kirk. It hit facebook, with his name and the name and phone number of the school - with a comment about do you really want someone like this teaching your kids.

Aint it a got damned shame that they have to issue this to allegedly educated people?
IMO anyone who needed this warning should not be teaching young people.
The warning works for right now probably. But in a few weeks these despicable people will still be there.

This situation is spiraling out of control. The leftist hate has exploded and they won't be calmed. Even if they lose their livelihood, they will wonder why, and then take it out on innocents. I've read enough today to scare the h*ll out of me.

It's an absolute shame that a state has so many people working in education that are soulless, evil, vile creatures. How do these people get a job teaching children?

It bothers me to no end that we have so many in our society, seemingly adults, that have no conscience. So many are stupid young people that have definitely missed an education in societal matters, but for adults to behave so evilly is unnerving.

American teachers are the most undereducated trash on the planet. But they do have an agenda. And since they are so very stupid, they should all be sent to unemployment lines. They could wipe toilette seats, I don't believe it would overburden their little brain.

In the past, these ghouls would have been tolerated and cheered on by like-minded leftist idiots. No more. Stephen King lives in Florida and was a teacher by profession before he spiced up some old horror stories and the publishers printed them. Send his moth-eaten old ass back to Bangor Maine where he belongs.

Here WE have a perfect example why the social media morons go on line and vent their true feelings...they have nothing else to do...they must justify their feelings....and gratify their positions with other mental munchkins who think the same way...this is different....anyone who would celebrate Charlie's death is beyond redemption.....

We have a teacher in our city school district (PA) who posted that Charlie deserves no empathy "because he's a racist". Libs of TikTok caught it so now this teacher is receiving considerable blowback from those who are unhappy with her comment. The school district has asked for a police presence in the school where she teaches in order to keep everyone safe. Seems a bit of projection is taking place here. They assume that we'd behave the same way they would.
This is a far cry from the way Fla. is handling things but then we have Josh as our governor.

Most teachers are nothing more than government employees. And they are public facing. They work for us. As such, they have no business making disgusting and disrespectful public remarks about anything. Past time to put them in their place.

It seems like people now have to publish their hatred. Why can't they just talk among themselves? Particularly in this situation where a wife and two little children lost their husband and father, it speaks to extremely slack upbringing and mental disturbance. I believe that the tide is turning and that this will be a conversion call to anyone with any decency left, to depart the Democratic party. They should be ashamed of themselves!

The very worse thing about this, is that the state and local governments have to spend time and money on these awful people.

If the death of Charlie Kirk reveals one thing, it is this: there is no middle ground anymore. Choose wisely.

Absolutely needed!! Celebrating the murder of ANYONE, left or right, is reprehensible and disgusting, inhuman behavior!! I'm willing to bet these keyboard warriors don't have the testicular fortitude to say these things to the faces of Charlie Kirk’s family!!
