The Nashville leaders statement contradicts itself many times. They talk about cooperation between law enforcement agencies to ensure public safety. Just not with DHS or ICE. They talk about separation of families. That happens every time you arrest someone and put them in jail. They talk about fear of arrest in the immigrant community. If the people in that community were not here illegally or not committed any crimes, they have nothing to fear. The Nashville leaders are enabling the illegals and assisting and encouraging their illegal activity. They will be crying in a few years when Nashville is a big Barrio with out of control gang violence and nobody speaks English.

Being here illegally is a crime itself. If you're here illegally take the money and free airline ticket, go back and come back in legally. ps....take the poll at the end, they don't ask for any info.

Los Angeles was once a beautiful city and a mecca for artists and entertainers. Nashville should take a look at that garbage dump if they want to view the results of ignoring crime and letting every homeless bum, gangbanger, drug addict and criminal have their way.

It’s clear that the leftist and progressive Democrats do not want any illegal aliens, including foreign criminals and “nut jobs” to be removed (deported) from the USA. As the Democrats consider the many millions of illegal aliens in the USA, and those who they can allow into the USA in the future, to be budding leftist and progressive Democrat supporters and voters by as many millions as possible in the years ahead. In that respect the Democrats are only interested in bringing as many Third World origin aliens into the USA who can be categorized as being members of minority groups in accordance with Democrat identity politics, with the long-term objective of permanently changing the population demographics of the USA to that of a minority-majority country to where a coalition of both domestic and foreign origin minority groups supporting the leftist and progressive Democrat political agenda and keep the leftist and progressive Democrats in permanent political power controlling both the Congress and the White House on into the future. Why else would the ultra partisan Democrats be protecting the illegal alien population from the common sense enforcement of the immigration laws by claiming that every individual illegal alien, most likely well over ten million who crossed the border unlawfully, should have the “due process” to file unlimited numbers of appeals and motions up through the administrative and criminal courts to the US Supreme Court that would take many years while the illegal aliens gets to stay in the USA represented by a US taxpayer lawyer aligned with the Democrats, and completely clog up those court systems with most cases where only two simple legal issues must be proven, is that the individual alien recipient is not a citizen of the USA, and that the alien is unlawfully in the USA, therefore rendering that alien to be a deportable alien.

The "Nashville leaders" are stigmatizing the city's immigrants by conflating lawful immigrants with illegals. Shame on them.
