The Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC), a Nashville-based nonprofit that has condemned the recent immigration enforcement operation in the area, was previously asked by federal agencies under the Biden administration to facilitate the release of thousands of illegal immigrants into the Volunteer State. As news emerged that the joint operation [snip] had resulted in nearly 100 arrests, TIRRC Executive Director Lisa Sherman Luna reportedly accused the state and federal law enforcement agencies of “terrorizing our communities” by “kidnapping our people off the street based on nothing but the color of their skin.”

I suspect even citizens with warrants are 'terrified' to be stopped by the cops, or seeing them at the door.

#3, I have no doubt there is "fear". But that fear is likely a constant given the fact that illegal aliens are by definition fugitives evading arrest. Don't want to be "terrified"? Don't enter the country illegally. Otherwise you must be aware of the eventual consequences and the anxiety of living life on the run.

All these immigration NGOs are nothing but greedy grifters looking for government goodies to justify their jobs. Catholic Charities is a prime exanpmple.

The term non-profit is quite misleading. I worked for a not for profit healthcare system many years ago. At the end of the year they released their financials. One of the line items near the bottom was "excess revenue" $14,000,000. Shortly after that they spent hundreds of thousands redecorating the lobby including walnut paneling and other very expensive stuff.

#5 is correct. I know of one non-profit that sent its board, CEO and his staff on a luxury retreat to "bond and discuss business". Then again, I was on two non-profit boards that had to scratch for money. One who treated children with hearing and speaking problems (they had to close) and one historical society that's still making it, but it's always a financially tight existence.

#5, that's what every single government department does each year to ensure they've spent what was allocated out of fear they'll be cut back what they didn't "need". It's why nothing improves and spending it out of control.

The proposal appears to accept the idea that Crimea was once part of Russia and that returning it to Russia would restore historical justice. This logic is not just politically reckless, it is historically and legally indefensible. It echoes the imperial narrative Putin himself has long advanced: that modern Russia is the rightful heir to the entire Russian Empire[snip] Crimea was never part of Russia, and the Russian Federation is not a successor to the entire Russian Empire.

In the weeks surrounding President Trump’s inauguration, America’s propaganda press relentlessly cited leftist claims that 15,000 trans-identifying individuals would be booted from the military under the new commander-in-chief. The insinuation, of course, was that such a move would harm “military readiness” and the country’s national security. In a statement to The Federalist, a Defense Department official said that, as of February, there are “approximately 4,200 Active-duty, Guard and Reserve service members currently serving diagnosed with gender dysphoria” throughout the armed forces. The total is roughly the same that was announced by the agency in February.
