Hillary Clinton is once again drawing criticism for her controversial stance on immigration, this time defending an accused MS-13 member who was deported without trial. The former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential candidate has come under fire for her remarks, in which she prioritized the so-called “rights” of illegal immigrants over the safety of American citizens. This latest defense of a known gang member only adds to the growing concern among many Americans that the political elite are more focused on protecting criminals than securing the safety of law-abiding citizens.
In a social media post, Clinton called on “Americans of conscience”

There’s not a darker day in human history than the day Christ died.
But there’s not a brighter dawn than the one that followed three days later.
Because early that Sunday morning, when the women approached the tomb, the earth shook again—not in judgment, but in victory. Not because hell was howling, but because heaven was roaring.
And the stone was already rolled away.
The tomb wasn’t opened to let Jesus out.
It was opened to let us see in.
And what we saw?
Nothing.
No body. No bones. No grave clothes with a corpse. Just the remnants of death… left behind by Life Himself.
Jesus Christ—bodily, physically, and historically—rose from the dead.
And that changes everything.

“And the angel answering, said to the women: Fear not you; for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he is risen, as he said. Come, and see the place where the Lord was laid. And going quickly, tell ye his disciples that he is risen: and behold he will go before you into Galilee; there you shall see him.” —Matthew 28:5-7
Happy Easter, a bless Pascha to you all! Today we Christians celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, His triumph over sin, death, and the devil, a triumph in which we share.

Despite leftist U.S. District Judge James Boasberg finding probable cause to hold the Trump administration in contempt of court on Wednesday for violating his previous order, Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz believes Boasberg should be the one held in contempt instead “for issuing such a vague order.”
Boasberg attempted to block the administration from using the Alien Enemies Act for deporting Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang members, but Boasberg never issued a binding order, Dershowitz explained.
“He issues an order first orally, in which he talks about bringing the planes back. You can't just bring planes back. That's not easy. That might not be safe.

President Trump on Wednesday found a way around an effort by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who tried to block one of his nominees for a federal prosecutor role in New York.
Trump announced his appointment of Jay Clayton as interim U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, which would circumvent the Senate confirmation process that Schumer intended to block.
“I am pleased to announce that Jay Clayton will serve as the Interim United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York. During my First Term, Jay served with great distinction as the Chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission, and earned the respect of everyone," Trump said.

You might have thought that Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) would be back by now after he got rejected from seeing or talking with El Salvadoran national Kilmar Abrego Garcia in El Salvador.
That would have been smart. But he appears to still be there and still grandstanding. After being told bluntly by the Central American nation's vice president that the senator wasn't going to be able to get in to see Garcia at CECOT, it looks like Van Hollen decided to go there anyway to try to get in.
It didn't go well. He says he was stopped by soldiers.

Death row inmates granted clemency by former President Joe Biden sued the Trump administration on Wednesday for ordering their incarceration under the most “oppressive conditions” available.
President Donald Trump issued an executive order on his first day in office that directed Attorney General Pam Bondi to ensure 37 death row inmates were “imprisoned in conditions consistent with the monstrosity of their crimes and the threats they pose,” which the lawsuit alleges is unconstitutional.
“By categorically condemning Plaintiffs to indefinite incarceration in harsh conditions in response to their receipt of clemency from the previous President, it exceeds the statutory authority granted to the Attorney General and her deputy,

Working remotely just took on a whole new meaning for one Democratic city attorney, who is performing her duties while on a cruise ship.
Assistant City Attorney of San Diego Jean Jordan, 65, was approved to earn an eye-popping $300,000 a year while sailing the high seas. She will be performing her duties while on a luxury cruise ship, where she will not only continue to receive benefits but will also be accruing vacation time.
Jordan agreed to stay in her position as opposed to retiring, and has been away from land since January.

President Trump is delivering on promises not to forget about the people who were largely abandoned by the Biden administration after a catastrophic hurricane destroyed much of Western North Carolina.
Major roads were completely wiped out after Hurricane Helene, making rescue efforts in the area even harder. Many North Carolinians who survived the devastating wreckage had to suffer through a cold, wet winter in makeshift homes and relied on local support and the Cajun Army for help … until President Trump took office.
Matt Van Swol, a reformed Democrat, has been extensively reporting on the situation in Western N.C. and East Tennessee,

A Georgia thug had to learn the hard way this week that breaking into the home of a military veteran and father is never a wise decision.
The ordeal started around 11:30 pm on Monday in Jackson, where 38-year-old Justin Couch’s 15-year-old son was awoken by the sound of his window shattering, as exclusively reported by the Daily Mail.
The boy then ran to Couch’s room to wake him up and alert him to what had happened. Couch immediately jumped into action.
“I’ve got to protect my kids, that was all that was in my mind,” he recalled to the Daily Mail.

Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow said Wednesday on FNC’s “The Ingraham Angle” that Democrats plan to tie up President Donald Trump’s agenda in court until they can win majorities in the midterms and impeach him.
Host Laura Ingraham said, “Now, Alex, I think the lawfare, all the collusion among the attorneys general and the Democrat Party officials that they’re now admitting on camera, look, they’ve had some success, you know, in simply delaying Trump’s agenda. So they had to stay on the firing of the probationary workers, the stay on cutting certain grants, transgender inmates. So for them, is a delay a win?
