Death row inmates granted clemency by former President Joe Biden sued the Trump administration on Wednesday for ordering their incarceration under the most “oppressive conditions” available. President Donald Trump issued an executive order on his first day in office that directed Attorney General Pam Bondi to ensure 37 death row inmates were “imprisoned in conditions consistent with the monstrosity of their crimes and the threats they pose,” which the lawsuit alleges is unconstitutional. “By categorically condemning Plaintiffs to indefinite incarceration in harsh conditions in response to their receipt of clemency from the previous President, it exceeds the statutory authority granted to the Attorney General and her deputy,

Commuting death sentences into life without parole has passed the constitutionality test numerous times. Maybe the people complaining would prefer Old Sparky or a firing squad?

Hillary Clinton Defends Alleged MS-13

Hillary Clinton is once again drawing criticism for her controversial stance on immigration, this time defending an accused MS-13 member who was deported without trial. The former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential candidate has come under fire for her remarks, in which she prioritized the so-called “rights” of illegal immigrants over the safety of American citizens. This latest defense of a known gang member only adds to the growing concern among many Americans that the political elite are more focused on protecting criminals than securing the safety of law-abiding citizens. In a social media post, Clinton called on “Americans of conscience”

There’s not a darker day in human history than the day Christ died. But there’s not a brighter dawn than the one that followed three days later. Because early that Sunday morning, when the women approached the tomb, the earth shook again—not in judgment, but in victory. Not because hell was howling, but because heaven was roaring. And the stone was already rolled away. The tomb wasn’t opened to let Jesus out. It was opened to let us see in. And what we saw? Nothing. No body. No bones. No grave clothes with a corpse. Just the remnants of death… left behind by Life Himself. Jesus Christ—bodily, physically, and historically—rose from the dead. And that changes everything.

Despite leftist U.S. District Judge James Boasberg finding probable cause to hold the Trump administration in contempt of court on Wednesday for violating his previous order, Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz believes Boasberg should be the one held in contempt instead “for issuing such a vague order.” Boasberg attempted to block the administration from using the Alien Enemies Act for deporting Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang members, but Boasberg never issued a binding order, Dershowitz explained. “He issues an order first orally, in which he talks about bringing the planes back. You can't just bring planes back. That's not easy. That might not be safe.

President Trump on Wednesday found a way around an effort by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who tried to block one of his nominees for a federal prosecutor role in New York. Trump announced his appointment of Jay Clayton as interim U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, which would circumvent the Senate confirmation process that Schumer intended to block. “I am pleased to announce that Jay Clayton will serve as the Interim United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York. During my First Term, Jay served with great distinction as the Chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission, and earned the respect of everyone," Trump said.

After being told bluntly by the Central American nation's vice president that the senator wasn't going to be able to get in to see Garcia at CECOT, it looks like Van Hollen decided to go there anyway to try to get in. It didn't go well. He says he was stopped by soldiers.

President Trump is delivering on promises not to forget about the people who were largely abandoned by the Biden administration after a catastrophic hurricane destroyed much of Western North Carolina. Major roads were completely wiped out after Hurricane Helene, making rescue efforts in the area even harder. Many North Carolinians who survived the devastating wreckage had to suffer through a cold, wet winter in makeshift homes and relied on local support and the Cajun Army for help … until President Trump took office. There’s Real Evidence for Easter 23 replies

If you think politicians make outlandish claims, consider what Christians celebrate at Easter. They believe a man named Jesus was brutally tortured, murdered, and buried for three days before rising from the dead. Furthermore, they assert this man was also fully God and that your belief or lack of belief in him determines your eternal destiny. Christians have no video evidence or DNA tests to prove this. That’s understandable since Christians say the event Easter celebrates took place almost 2,000 years ago. Americans can’t even agree on things that happened two weeks ago. Isn’t Easter an ancient example of “fake news,” a myth propagated by people putting faith over historical realities?
