Leftists will surely be triggered by the latest announcement by President Donald Trump that he is bringing back a cherished American holiday, which they have tried to disparage and replace with a "woke" version in recent years. Readers will likely remember that far-left progressives have made it their mission to tear down many of America's heroes and forefathers--sometimes literally, in the case of statues and monuments.Leftists will surely be triggered by the latest announcement by President Donald Trump that he is bringing back a cherished American holiday, which they have tried to disparage and replace with a "woke" version in recent years. As I wrote about a couple of weeks ago, Michiganian Congressman John James is seeking the Republican nomination to run for governor in November of 2026. He announced this decision a couple of weeks back and has been lining up endorsements and touring the state.James sat down with the Detroit News to answer some questions about what he would like to do as governor, and also what Donald Trump will announce this Tuesday when he is in Michigan. Of course, the question that was asked was something I mentioned could happen in an article a couple of weeks ago, when James first announced he was running.

On Sunday, during an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) did not rule out impeaching President Donald Trump if Democrats take control of Congress.
Host Dana Bash said, “Your colleague from Georgia, Senator Jon Ossoff told voters at a town hall that he strongly agrees that President Trump should be impeached. Do you agree with him? Would that be a priority if Democrats were to take back Congress?”

Throughout Friday and Saturday, President Donald Trump has been posting to his Truth Social account regarding his presence in Rome for Pope Francis' funeral, as well as a desire for peace between Russia and Ukraine. Trump even met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky while at St. Peter's Basilica. Since that meeting, Trump has posted more so about the need for peace, not just when it comes to sharing a photo of the meeting, but also some strong words for The New York Times as he issued a reminder to the outlet and one writer in particular.

Former President Barack Obama was spotted going out to dinner with his daughters in Los Angeles on Saturday night — but former first lady Michele Obama was nowhere to be found as rumors of marriage problems continue to swirl. (Photo) Obama, 63, with daughters Sasha, 23, and Malia, 26, broke bread at upscale Japanese restaurant Hamasaku on Santa Monica Boulevard, which has been a favorite of the family since at least 2022, according to images of the dinner.

The White House released a video that encourages illegal aliens in the United States to self-deport, and it showed several messages from President Donald Trump and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem warning them to either self-deport or risk deportation the hard way.
In the video posted to X by the White House account, a person can be seen laying on a couch while watching messages from Trump, Noem, and Border Czar Tom Homan. The song, Take Me Home, Country Roads by John Denver can be heard playing in the video.

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” New York Times columnist Bret Stephens discussed the first 100 days of the second Trump administration and stated that “the good news, I think, for the country is it’s the worst first 100 days in the U.S. presidential history” because “a lot of the country that voted for President Trump because they didn’t like the course of the country under his predecessor because they were mad, because they thought stuff needed to be broken up and disrupted are waking up to the reality of just how much worse it can get.” And “if it had been a successful first 100 days, if it

As President Trump meets with President Volodymyr Zelensky and other world leaders in Rome to try and end the senseless war in Ukraine, the European peace movement is falling in line behind Trump’s bold leadership – while Antifa street militias protest and call the peace movement “Nazis”.
You get to see a lot of crazy stuff as a Gateway Pundit reporter, but this one really takes the cake.
It’s like the world has turned upside down: At today’s peace rally in Munich, Germany, about 2500 mostly long-haired, hippie-style peaceniks marched in support of US President Donald Trump’s peace efforts, while black-clad “Anti”-Fascist street thugs lined the march,

Developing countries should strike swift trade deals with the United States at the “earliest possible” opportunity, the president of the World Bank told AFP Friday, after a busy week with global financial leaders in Washington.
Ajay Banga was interviewed by AFP at the World Bank and International Monetary Fund’s Spring Meetings, which have been held this year under a cloud of uncertainty about President Donald Trump’s stop-start tariff rollout. The Bank has been advising developing countries to get a deal done quickly with the United States, and to then focus attention on cutting trade barriers and boosting regional flows of goods, Banga said.
