Nancy Pelosi is adamant she won’t release her grip on the Democratic Party despite their resounding defeat in 2024 and a growing chorus urging her to step down, sources tell The Post.
Ex-President Joe Biden named Pelosi one of the chief architects of the move to push him aside for Kamala Harris to run at short notice, and she was instrumental in the disastrous $1 billion campaign which followed – leading the party to lose the White House, Senate and House of Representatives.
Younger members of the party and even current House minority leader Hakeem Jeffries believe it’s time for a refresh and

Should consider, down the road, whether the customary 4-6 inch heels are warranted.

One of these days she'll be dead, and not too long from now. I will take my wife out for a big dinner that night, for sure.
Nutty, Nasty Nancy has been a corrupt, criminal, boil on the butt of the USA for decades. I'll be really glad when she's gone, one way or the other.

WOW! I actually agree with Nasty Pelousy about something. There is nothing wrong with the dem party. They are commiting suicide perfectly well. We wouldn't want to interfere with that. I think we should chip in and buy them more pink clothes and ping pong paddles. And it's really fun seeing Chucky Scummer try to swim carrying all the dead weight of his party.
And the fact that Pelousy is driving Jeffries and the young Leftists nuts? Sweet! There is nothing more irritating than dealing with crotchety old folks. For that matter, Sanders is a pretty good crank too.

lol…Democrats could not have won if Joe or Harris ran. Why liberals cannot see that Joe was noted to be demented years ago before he even ran for President and Harris is and has always been a babbling idiot. They ran a candidate that in the previous bid for the White House bombed horribly in the primary. What are these liberals thinking?Being president takes more than being a DEI hire based on race and gender only plus being a past mistress of Willie Brown. These are characteristics they are not qualifications. Wake up liberals

Some like Pe;osi just can't give up their assumed power and self regard. And the perks of being catered to and feeling important....."Your car is waiting, Mrs. Pelosi", "The President of Eastern Slobbovia is waiting to see you, Mrs. Pelosi",etc., etc. At one time it was "Madam Speaker" and I am sure she stills think that address will be hers again one day even when embalmed and on display. I was fortunate to have the means to retire at age 69 and have time to sleep in, travel, fish and do things on my own time and have loved every minute of it. Give it up, Nan. You only have a few years left to harm our country....thankfully, only a few.

Fifty years in Congress and most of it spent pushing some sort of anti-American agenda while making millions (how’d she do dat?) is proof of the saying that “Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

This is classic mental illness. She has amassed a fortune throuh government power. Why not take that money and move far away and enjoy it. Unlike the Obamas and many others, she just can't let go and believes that there is no other life for her other than bothering others with her lunacy.

It is just too easy to keep raking in the cash. I'm sure her staff does all the work and she shows up to act the part on rare occasions. Same reason government workers with seniority don't retire.

Nothing sadder than an old woman clinging to her past...hey ole girl...you're done...no one wants you...and perhaps you should remember the words you used against ole Joe...you're done...resign...perhaps the voters of her district should put up a real Cracker Jack candidate to challenge her...and let her try an manage a debate...like the one she set up for ole Joe to fail....now that would be justice...my Mama was right...it always comes back to you....

Establishment Republicans dislike conservative populism. And we dislike them right back.
Establishment Democrats are terrified of leftwing populism. And have rigged two or three primaries to prevent them from being nominated.

Nanie, Chuckie S., Grasslie, and the Turtle are the big four who must transition to the back pasture soonest. All four of them won't be above room temperature for many more years. But they breathe politics each and every day. The power and the feeling of relevance. It's what Type A folks crave constantly and why they still hold public office while they lord over us and our young people who are 50+ years younger than us.
As for us fly over country Americans, we don't need a cast of over the hill gray-haired near-dementia patients with digestive problems running the country.

Nasty Nancy, Ruth Ginsburg, Dianne Feinstein, Crazy Bernie and the like..... these corrupt old power-mad 'Rats will give up their power when -and only when- it is pried from their cold dead claws. In the case of Peelousy, it seems to me that the 'Rats could do something within their caucus to sideline her.... if any of them had the political courage to do it.
As for the wealth that these 'Rats -including the former tip-stealing barmaid- have accumulated, recall the words of Harry Truman:
"Show me a man who got rich working for the Government, and I'll show you a Crook!"
