What looked like the Green Movement’s unstoppable momentum has stalled out recently, as Americans rethink the costs of some of the more draconian proposals to rid the world of industrial carbon dioxide. As skepticism grows, the movement to slash CO2 at all costs also may be nearing an end, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows.
Americans have become increasingly wary of the “net zero” and other modern-day green movements after so many of their doom-filled prophecies of imminent environmental disaster failed to come true.

To paraphrase the snake carville: "It's the sun, stupid!" Perhaps the Galaxy.
One angry outburst from our star could send us back to the dark ages or worse.
Geological records indicate this planet undergoes a global catastrophe every 6000 years and we are due. "Climate" on the other planets in our solar system is also changing.

It took the Democrat Party to destroy the environmental movement.
It destroys everything it touches.

The most telling surveys are the ones that ask how much more people would YOU be willing to PAY to have green energy. The answer is, "very little". Yet the alarmists want to commit to trillions of dollars to accomplish their goals, even when their goals are very unlikely to be reached. They might as well burn the money.
There are no green "substitutes" for fossil fuels. It would be impossible to shift our economy completely to "green energy". The results would be catastrophic.
How do we know that the Alarmists are lying? Because they reject Nuclear power. That is the closest we can get to clean energy and meeting our growing needs. It is a FAR superior solution to unreliable and limited sources like solar and wind. Yet, nuclear is a no go.
So what is the real reason for "green" energy? To destroy the US. We are the most advanced country and the most economically strong. We require large amounts of energy to support that. Cutting off cheap and abundant energy cripples us. Note that many competitors are not hobbling themselves with green energy. They are waiting for us to kill ourselves with stupidity.

Green energy will come along when it is ready.
The technology is not here yet. It can't be forced.
When green energy is reliable, cheap , and readily available we will all be glad to get it.

They've been pushing this enviroweenie stuff since the 1970s. Not a single one of the numerous predictions made has come true; some were spectacularly wrong. The biggest polluters on the planet - by far - are China and India, and they do squat. Finally, if the sea levels are going to rise, why do all the Dems pushing this nonsense by beachfront properties?

"Green" means 100% waste. Not good for the earth, not good for humanity. Get rid of it all: large scale solar, windmills, ethanol in gasoline .... The porcine Al Gore is arguably the greediest, most dishonest, most destructive public figure we've yet seen. He's wrong about everything. Oink for us, Al.

Green energy is like organic items. Both are ridiculous expensively and don't provide the benefits that advocates claim. Plus, why are organic anything more expensive? If pesticides aren't being used on the product, that's one less expense that being used to produce the product. Shouldn't organic be less expensive?

Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger was just commenting that they need to frame the issue as fighting pollution which is what I've said was their actual agenda and goals but were using global warming, climate change, etc... but have found out no one pays attention.
They can't point to anything that's come true of any of their predictions in the past 40 years.

Suggest three tracts.
1. Remind the voters that it was the green new deal that that tanked our economy and spiked inflation.
2.!Reveal the cruelty of keeping fossil fuels and fertilizer from 3W countries that are begging for them.
3. Document the environmental disasters resulting from the Renewable Industrial Complex.

It's hard to believe anything green, when the major proponents fly private planes everywhere, drive the biggest gas-guzzling vehicles, own multiple mega-mansions and live large, while telling us to skimp and do without!
