Revealed: NY Attorney General Letitia
James Declares Virginia Home Her ‘Principal Residence’

Original Article

This article originally appeared on White Collar Fraud and was republished with permission. Letitia James, New York’s Attorney General, has built her career on exposing deception. But a quiet real estate transaction in Norfolk, Virginia—carried out just weeks before the Trump fraud trial she championed—now raises serious questions about her own compliance with New York law. A declaration buried in legal filings states her intent to make a Virginia house her principal residence: “I HEREBY DECLARE that I intend to occupy this property as my principal residence.”

Ms. James has never been the brightest bulb in the box. James was not a distinguished City Council member. Given the bar for being a distinguished Council member is so low it's buried, that's saying a lot. That said, if there was a functioning Republican party in NYS, which there is not, they whould be all over this and get her removed from her office. If she violated federal law, Pam Bondi's Department of Justice needs to go after her with all the vigor with which she went after Trump. She needs to step down, immediately, but that ain't happening. I would be surprised if this article or these facts are ever reported on by the NY press.

This is simple. She was buying income property, which typically requires a higher down payment and higher interest rates. She never had any intention of living in a 1500 soft house. She's far to important for that. She lied and misrepresented herself for favorable mortgage terms.

Didn't she misrepresent some of her 5+ unit properties as 4 unit properties so to qualify forsome better financing/tax breaks? At the speed of NY courts to overturn the ridiclous criminal and civil charges foisted onzpres Trump, a lot of us will be pushing up daisies in the cemetery.

I remember very well that day in 2015, Donald Trump came down that golden escalator in Trump Tower to announce that he was running for President of the United States. He had run before; some of us remember his 2000 run on the Reform Party ticket, which he abandoned in February of that year. In 2015, he was serious, and he won, in no small part because of his slogan, which became his campaign theme. Like all good political slogans, it was pithy, packed a punch, was easy to shout at rallies, and it sparked a connection with millions of Americans: Make America Great Again.

Augusta, Ga. — History awaits Rory McIlroy. A career Grand Slam sits a tantalizing 18 holes away. Sometime before 3 p.m. Sunday, McIlroy will stand on the first tee in the final pairing of the day at Augusta National on the precipice of history, with a chance to become only the sixth player ever to win all four major championships. (Photo) He’s won two PGA Championships, one U.S. Open and one British Open. The Masters has been the elusive one, like the girl you’ve been asking out for years who keeps rejecting you. This week is McIlroy’s 11th attempt at completing the career Slam by winning his first Masters.

DOGE updated its website again this week with the latest figures on massive savings for the American people. According to this update, U.S. taxpayer savings now reach $150 billion — up from $140 billion in the last update. That results in a savings of $931.68 per taxpayer. (X Video) The DOGE website makes it clear that the $150 billion in savings is a “combination of asset sales, contract/lease cancellations and renegotiations, fraud and improper payment deletion, grant cancellations, interest savings, programmatic changes, regulatory savings, and workforce reductions.”

It's despicable, designed to whip up fear in people who rely on Social Security, when Trump and his team have said over and over again that Social Security isn't going to be cut. Trump walking back the tariffs is no mystery. The original order clearly stated that countries could earn a reprieve if they agreed to better terms for America. President Trump’s sudden decision to pause the tariffs—first imposed between April 2 and 9, 2025, in the amount of 10% or more—has drawn sharp criticism from the same media outlets that initially opposed the tariffs themselves. Now that the president has suspended most of them for 90 days, commentators are calling the move everything from “mysterious,” to “weak,” to “nefarious.” Some have even floated bizarre accusations of insider trading, despite the obvious fact that both the tariff announcement and the corresponding stock dip were public knowledge.

The regime does not want war -- but it also cannot accept total nuclear disarmament.

1. President Donald Trump's so-called "trade war." Many call the American effort to obtain either tariff parity or a reduction in the roughly $1 trillion trade deficit and 50 years of consecutive trade deficits a "trade war." But then what do they call the policies of the past half-century by Europe, Asia, China, and others to ensure asymmetrical tariffs, pseudo-health and security trade restrictions, and large surpluses? A trade peace? Trade fairness? 2. Do nations prefer surpluses or deficits? Why do most nations prefer trade surpluses and protective tariffs? Are Europe, Asia, China, and others stupid? Are they suicidal in continuing their trade surpluses and protective or asymmetrical tariffs?
