A federal judge will block the Trump administration from ordering Cuban, Haitian, and Venezuelan illegal immigrants.
This development comes amid several court battles over President Donald Trump’s immigration policies and could be a temporary setback to the administration’s efforts to deport illegal immigrants and asylum seekers.
From The Associated Press:
U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani said she would issue a stay on an order for more than 500,000 Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans to leave the country, sparing them until the case advances to the next phase. Their permits were to be canceled April 24.
During a hearing, Talwani repeatedly questioned the government’s assertion that it could end humanitarian parole for the four nationalities.

Obama judge, so what do you expect. In the first place it was not in keeping with the parole provisions of the immigration laws to allow masses of aliens to gain entry to the USA with two year work permits, as the parole provisions were intended to be used for individual aliens based upon individual reasons and not to facilitate the entry of hundreds of thousands of aliens into the USA. If activist judges can say that was a correct move by the Biden crew, that is nothing to keep the next leftist and progressive Democrat President from facilitating the entry of unlimited numbers of aliens by using that parole process.

Biden invented Parole for illegals out of thin air. Why can't Trump end something that is made up and has no basis in law? Are illegals from Haiti, Venezuela. Cuba, and Nicaragua more special than the rest of the illegals? The only special status that any illegals should have is priority seats on the next deportation flight.

Decisions on TPS are the SOLE discretion of the Secretary, and NOT subject to Judicial Reveiw
Section 244(b)(1) of the INA, 8 U.S.C. 1254a(b)(1), authorizes the Secretary, after consultation with appropriate agencies of the U.S. Government, to designate a foreign state (or part thereof) for TPS if the Secretary determines that certain country conditions exist.[1]
The decision to designate any foreign state (or part thereof) is a discretionary decision, and there is no judicial review of any determination with respect to the designation, termination, or extension of a designation.
See
INA sec. 244(b)(5)(A), 8 U.S.C. 1254a(b)(5)(A). The Secretary, in their discretion, may then grant TPS to eligible nationals of that foreign state (or individuals having no nationality who last habitually resided in the designated foreign state).
See
INA sec. 244(a)(1)(A), 8 U.S.C. 1254a(a)(1)(A).
At least 60 days before the expiration of a foreign state's TPS designation or extension, the Secretary, after consultation with appropriate U.S. Government agencies, must review the conditions in the foreign state designated for TPS to determine whether they continue to meet the conditions for the TPS designation.
See
INA sec. 244(b)(3)(A), 8 U.S.C. 1254a(b)(3)(A). If the Secretary determines that the conditions in the foreign state continue to meet the conditions for TPS designation, the designation will be extended for an additional period of 6 months or, in the Secretary's discretion, 12 or 18 months.
See
INA sec. 244(b)(3)(A), (C), 8 U.S.C. 1254a(b)(3)(A), (C). If the Secretary determines that the foreign state no longer meets the conditions for TPS designation, the Secretary must terminate the designation.
See
INA sec. 244(b)(3)(B), 8 U.S.C. 1254a(b)(3)(B).
