Pituffik Space Base commander Space Force Col. Susannah (Susan) Meyers was relieved of command Thursday after a report by Military.com that she had sent a base-wide email to personnel at the Greenland base after a recent visit by Vice President J.D. Vance distancing herself from President Trump’s national security policy on Greenland. Meyers had assumed command last July of the 821st Space Base Group at Pituffik.
Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell posted the announcement by Space Force of Meyers being relieved of command within hours of the report by Military.com.
Parnell: “Actions to undermine the chain of command or to subvert President Trump’s agenda will not be tolerated at the Department of Defense.”

Get with the Trump agenda or get out! The military is no place for "feelings" or going your own way.

White girl DEI-type power not so great, huh? Who do these females (Meyers and Shoshanna) think they are? I hope she's at least demoted if not kicked out.

“I do not presume to understand current politics, but what I do know is the concerns of the U.S. administration discussed by Vice President Vance on Friday are not reflective of Pituffik Space Base,” Meyers wrote in the email, which was communicated to Military.com.

Funny, I can’t find her bio. Wow. What a self absorbed woman. Soon to be forced out with full retirement…..then a multi million dollar gig on CNN.
Space Force seems to have morphed into a home for the woke. I am glad she spoke up so she could be weeded out.

Unless she was totally clueless, she must have known this would happen after sending such an email.

Professional suicide by E-mail. BUT, then that is what a posting to Pitufik does to your head. Also, what did she already do to get sent there?

Meyer may also be in legal jeopardy under Article 88 of the UCMJ. Bottom line: commissioned officers are prohibited from making "comptemptuous words" against the President, Vice President, Congress, the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of a military department, or the Governor or legislature of any state or possession in which they are on duty. Interesting to see if JAG makes such a recommendation.
If she had a problem with US policy and/or the current administration, she should either have kept her mouth shut or express it privately up her chain of command, NOT shotgun an email to "all base persnonnel" about here 'concerns'.
Extremely poor judgement from a commander.

Obviously no one stupid enough to send out such an email had no business in command in the first place.
Another DEI promotion.

Good grief. She is supposed to be the commander of a Space Force base and instead sees herself as a candidate for senior class president.

She is probably in violation of:
Article 88 Contempt Towards Officials,
Article 89 Disrespect Towards a Superior Commission Officer,
Article 90 Disobeying Superior Commissioned Officer,
Article 92 Failure to Obey,
Article 133 Conduct Unbecoming,
and
Article 134 which covers everything else.

You would think that a Colonel in the military would be smarter than doing something political that essentially caused her a career ending relief from her command position by the Commander in Chief?

Is it true the Space Force was formed so the Air Force had a group to pick on during bar fights?

What are these leftist broads doing in the military? They must be morons if they don't know that all it takes is one of their subordinates to report their idiocy to the higher ups and end their careers. This one is particularly stupid - she put her objections in writing.
